Wow, this is a book I won't forget easily! At first I didn't like the structure with two timelines but the second half of the book was very gripping and emotional. This is the first time I read this author but not the last.

Charlotte is engaged to Philip, who travels a lot for his work, and lately this is a source to discontent for her. At the same time Philips best friend, Ben, moves to their neighborhood with his son. I don't want to write anything more, only: Read it!

The publisher kindly provided me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

An emotionally complex book with many emotions going throughout the story. Two entirely different chance meetings with very different outcomes. This story had me laughing in some situations and crying in others, it is a book well worth reading.

Oh my gosh I absolutely loved this book and could relate to every single moment of it. Written in such a true to life fashion, this story will absolutely break your heart but so worth every moment!

Although I was really excited about the premise of this novel, the predictability and the pacing tempered my enjoyment. From the onset, it was self-evident how the drama was going to unfold. Within the first dozen chapters, I had surmised what was to take place and found myself frustrated by the constant dripping of hints as to what was happening with Philip. Everything seemed to be drawn out, so much so that I stopped reading about 3/4 through and skipped to the end.

It was difficult for me to become invested with Charlotte/Charley and Philip's relationship. I never got the deeper connection between the pair. Throughout their time together, Charley seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time musing about how dissatisfied she was with their relationship. In all fairness, I didn't get the feels for Ben, either.

This was a well written story but, inexplicably, it just didn't resonate with me. Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the ARC of This is Not How It Ends in exchange for an honest review.

Emotionally powerful, this story is about love, loss, and deceit. Very well written by Rochelle Weinstein, three lives are closely knit together. The undeniable love that Charlotte brings to this read is heartfelt. The crises that Charlotte, Philip, and Ben suffer through will have any reader unable to put this book down.

If there was a 6 star rating, this book would be more than worthy of it.

Many Thanks to Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for a superb read

5* Deeply Emotional Stars

This was a beautifully powerful well-written story of love, unforseen loss and finding love again. The writing style of the author is flawless and the story of Philip, Charlotte, and Ben is emotionally haunting. You will connect with these three from the beginning and they will enter your heart and stay there until the last page is read.

The secondary characters in the book were very likeable and were pivotal in the lives of Charlotte, Ben and Philip.

The story is very heartfelt and real and you will be left thinking about this highly emotional raw read for many days to come. I have found a new Author whose story has left me wanting to read more from her.

Many thanks to Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for my copy to read and review.

This is a powerful and compelling story of love, friendship, loss, and forgiveness. It was hard to put down! I thought it was a just a tad too long and that some scenes near the end when someone was in hospice (I won’t say who) were a little too long and a little too overdone, but other than that I found this to be a love story on many different levels and full of meaning. It is deeper than your ordinary romance and that is what I loved about it.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

If you like emotionally-driven women’s fiction, heartbreak and hope, loss and love, then This. Is. Your. Book. Charlotte falls in love with wealthy and somewhat mysterious Phillip, who whisks her away to the beauty of Islamorada, Florida. Phillip's frequent absences, a chance meeting with a handsome stranger, and the shadow of a father who disappeared years before all collide in paradise. Weinstein surprised me more than once in this emotionally raw story. Great beach read.

Wow what a beautiful story. This book has all the feels & was just the type of read I needed right now. While very predictable, this is still a great read. This is my first book by this author, but I will definitely read some more of hers. 4/5

This book opens your heart up and the lives bleed all over it. The author moves you into the characters world making you feel like you’re living and breathing their story. This is a story about transformation, loss, love and forgiveness. But done so in a tasteful way that makes you want the story to never end. A must read!

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the way the book was written i found it easy to read and the story pulls you in and quickly has you wanting to know more about the characters. It has you trying to guess what will happen next through the story.
I particularly liked the way the story moved between times whilst covering some very difficult and sad issues which the author does with sensitivity and real understanding. It had me both feeling happy , and sad at the same time,

The story begins with a chance encounter and then through out the book move on to explore love, friendship , betrayal and loss, beautifully done,

I loved the fact it was set in the Florida Keys a place i have visited and could easily visualise. Once engrossed I found it difficult to put down and would definitely recommend this book to friends. I will certainly I look out for other books by this author. .

A new author to me, Rochelle B Weinstein and ‘This is not how it ends’ broke me. The story told in this book was beautiful yet painfully sad. From start to finish everything felt so real, from the plot and characters to individual scenes, it was easy to imagine that you were, or could be part of the story. The reality the characters faced was humbling, and the way they dealt with it was beautifully portrayed.

The authors writing style was engaging and addictive. It is easy to see why she has garnered some amazing reviews from her peers and fans alike.

This is Not How it Ends by Rochelle B. Weinstein is not the type of book that I typically read. However, when I read the description I was intrigued and decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed this novel. It was touching and heartbreaking and I couldn't put it down. Charlotte's love story was beautifully written and I can see why many readers cried while reading it! I am not a crier or an emotional person but this story touched me. Weinstein's characters were complex and relatably flawed. I quickly became invested in what happened to each of the characters and I felt both their pain and their happiness. Overall, an enjoyable and moving story.

Thanks so very much to Lake Union Publishing, NetGalley and the author, Rochelle B. Weinstein for an early read of this book. This was the first book by this author, that I have read, and I can't believe that I haven't read her writing before...this author is exactly the type of author I love to read and follow, while I wait for her next book to come out.

Charlotte is engaged to a great man, however distance keeps them apart a lot of the time, and when reading the book, you can sense that Charlotte is lonely. She meets a man at a store, that she has instant chemistry with, and before long you can tell that this is a classic 'who will she pick' type of book, however it's not that simple.

This is a very emotional and thought provoking book, and when a book makes me cry, I feel that the author has done their job by making me feel the emotion through the words on the page.

Kudos to Rochelle B. Weinstein, and for all of the other readers of this book...I hope you love it as much as I do.

4.5 stars
I needed a book to lose myself in over the long weekend, and I definitely achieved it here. I was immediately drawn in to the story and stayed up late just to get to the end. Without giving away the story, this book is filled with emotions, with relationships, with unexpected, with wondering, and with key decisions that need to be made. I look forward to exploring more book s by this author.

In This is Not How it Ends, written by Rochelle B. Weinstein, Charlotte meets Philip on an airplane and the two have an instant connection. Through the work of fate, the two meet again, and soon they are settled in the Florida Keys planning their wedding. However, as Charlotte plans the wedding, Philip becomes more distant and she can feel him slipping away. One day, while shopping for groceries, Charlotte helps a single dad, Ben, when his son has an allergic reaction to a brownie containing nuts. Charlotte has no idea that they would meet again and that their relationship would build to something more, causing her to question everything.

This book captivated me from the very beginning. There was never a dull moment in this story and I found myself reading it every chance I got! I loved the characters Rochelle B. Weinstein developed. They seemed so realistic and their emotions so real that I found myself relating to them and feeling the emotions they felt as I read along. Rochelle B. Weinstein truly brought this book to life and created a great story dealing with tough topics.

If you’re looking for an easy read that makes you feel all the feels, I recommend This is Not How it End for you!
