Another lovely romance from Ms. Ridley in the Wicked Duke Series, she is writing with Darcy Burke. Each book is a standalone and they have all been entertaining and light reads that i really enjoyed. If you want a book that is very well written, with a storyline that makes sense, these are easily read and you don't feel bogged down and like you are just trying to get through it. In fact, the stories fly by and you are looking forward to the next in series.
This story kept me on the edge of my seat wondering if the couple would get their HEA. No spoilers, but the book is worth reading to find out. Very enjoyable.

I received this book from the author as an ARC and the opinion is my own, voluntarily given.
Thanks Ms. Ridley and Ms. Burke for this series.

Thaddeus Middleton has wanted romance since childhood and to find "The One". He wants to find the perfrct mate for him who can make him and Wednesday complete.

To live all over the world and have an adventure is all Miss Priscilla Weatherby has wanted since a young child. She wants to be an adventurer like her father and grandfather and she doesn't want to be left behind like her mother and Granmdother have. To stay single for a short time longer she can receive her trust and live her adventures as she pleases with Saturday.

This novel was so good! Having read One Night For Seduction, this was an amazing addition that has continued from that story. Both get 5 stars and this one has been so touching due to how vulnerable each of these characters are and how well their lives intertwine from beginning to the ending of this story. I gave an honest review in exchange for an ARC of this novel.

One Night of Passion is the 3rd book in the new Wicked Dukes Club series, a joint project produced by Erica Ridley and Darcy Burke. One Night of Passion is Ridley’s work. It is an amazing story with layer upon layer of complexity. Ridley is a master at giving her characters depth and believability. She has outdone herself with this story. I loved the hero in this Thaddeus Middleton - sweet, cheerful, fun and kind hearted. “As if he felt the whisper of her breath upon his skin, Mr. Middleton abruptly lifted his head and turned in her direction. His gaze locked with hers, too far away to see the golden flecks in his dark brown eyes, but hot enough to warm her to her toes all the same.” I don’t know if Ridley is a psychiatrist as well as an author..but her insight into people and their reactions to their environment is spot on. Her stories peel back the human condition layer by layer - everyone’s longing to be loved and belong. Amazing story. I was gifted a copy of this book.
