Last Night was a bit hard to follow. The overall story idea is great though and if you stick with it you will realize you made the correct decision.

In this story, we find Starra having lost moments of time and flashes of images too horrific to accept. These visions fill her with icy fear so complete she can’t escape it. With too many unanswered questions, she needs answers.

Then there is Mina who does not care at all about her soul. However, soon she realizes there is something lurking in the shadows.

Terrifyingly this story is one that will keep me up at night.

I am of two minds on this book. The format made it hard for me to get into the book. That being said, I did want to continue reading, I just wished I could be more engaged with the character. I don't know if what was revealed halfway through was supposed to be a twist or a shock but it was not. Much of the plot was pretty predictable. I actually started enjoying the book more after that halfway. If you have trouble like I did getting started, give it until at least 45-50%. Then you get to what I thought was the interesting part.

What a book. I was hooked just from the cover and description. Thankfully I was not disappointed. This is a fast paced read. Easy to read. Your on the edge of your seat wondering which way it’s heading. Fantastic read

There was something in the narrative on this book that didn't agree with me. I think that my main issue is that the author wanted to desribe to a reader all the back story for once. I think that I'd like it to be a little more misterious and when we find the truth through the story. Also it was a little predictable, but beside that quite good.

This book had a lot of strong elements to it. There is the question of what happens when you have nothing to lose? What chances are you willing to take?
