Guilty as charred.
This is the third book to this series and I enjoyed this book as much as the others.
A good plot and mystery.a lot of people didn’t like Poppy and her community garden ,which added more red herrings to the plot when they found her dead.
Love the description of the Rug store that Sherry’s dad owned.
Looking forward to the next instalment of the series.
Many thanks to Kensington books and Nettgalley for advance copy for a honest review.

Kindle Copy for Review from NetGalley and Kensington Books.

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Sherry Oliveri returns to town after winning a cook off with a new celebrity status. But her fame will quickly die off when a body is found in the community garden. She and the victim were both involved in the community garden.

Who wanted her dead? To make things worse the landowner wants to null the land agreement causing more tension. Furthermore Sherry has to plan a Fourth of July cook-off in the midst of everything.
Food cozy readers will enjoy the read as it includes recipes that you are tempted to try.

I recently discovered cozy mysteries after watching many Hallmarks mysteries on TV. These are even better. If you are in the mood for murder and good food, look no further than this book. There are recipes included that will make your mouth water.

I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful cozy mystery with its charming lead character and puzzle of a plot. Cook off contestant Sherry Oliveri is returning home victoriously from winning the America's Good Taste Cook Off when she receives an email from her friend Romie Green who told her that the land on which the local community garden is on may be sold off by Poppy Robinson, the woman who owns the land in conjunction with her two siblings.. Sherry is on the Board of the garden, which raises food for the local food bank so she is unhappy with the news, and when Poppy is found to have been murdered in that garden, because of Sherry's previous crime solving exploits she is urged to identify the culprit in this crime by the local mayor, the sister of the deceased, her friend Romie who is a suspect because she had a fight with Poppy and even her own father. Between inventing recipes for cooking contests, working at her father's rug store, preparing to initiate the town's new Fourth of July cooking contest, and writing the town newsletter, Sherry has her hands more than full, but she always manages to get the job done!
