I received an advance copy of this title.

In this most recent book by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, Nancy is joined for the first time by her husband, Robert. The book is basically a collection of stories, from the Bible, their own lives and the lives of others which show how God can be trusted in all the difficult situations and circumstance of life: situations such as unwanted singleness, illness and death.

It is an simple very readable book full of scripture truth, encouragement and hope.

This is good for all believers to be reminded of the goodness and faithfulness of God's providence and the authors have done a good job of this with this book.
I received this book free from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review.

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and husband Robert D. Wolgemuth tackle issues of God's providence in their book, "You Can Trust God to Write Your Story." They begin by identifying the elements of a good story, and then relate them to our own life stories. They also try to help readers see that their own stories do matter. Relying on their own love story and the stories of countless others walking through all kinds of trials and difficulties, the Wolgemuths show how God's hand is at work, even if we can't necessarily see it. They discuss God's providence in all sorts of areas including : difficulties in marriage, financial problems, longing for a mate, losing health, losing a loved one, heartbreak from a child, and much more.

The Wolgemuths transparent honesty is refreshing, and they do a good job of helping readers discover different ways God works in all kinds of situations. They also help readers see that often, we don't see God's providence in the moment, yet, when we look back, we see how He was intricately involved in the details of our lives. I enjoyed the book, found it encouraging and hope-filled, yet realistic and honest. Here's what it boiled down to for me: Yes, life is full of struggles, but yes, God is at work. He sees, He knows, He cares, and He's with us.

If you're looking to make sense of your own story, if you're wondering where God is, then pick up this book. I think you'll find it encouraging, helpful, and hopeful. The Wolgemuth's book, "You Can Trust God to Write Your Story" would also make a great gift for someone who is struggling to make sense of struggles and hardships. It will go a long way in reassuring them of God's providence at work in their lives.

YOU CAN TRUST GOD TO WRITE YOUR STORY-Nancy and Robert Wolgemuth

I received this book on my kindle from Net Galley for the purpose of review.

I am an unashamed fan of Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. I listen to her radio program and her podcast as well. I like her style and straight forward teaching. So, when I had the chance to get this new book I did.

When God Writes Your Story is an encouraging and uplifting book for anyone to read. Nancy and Robert tell their own individual story of faith, family and God's daily provision. Both are excellent writers and have done an outstanding job of retelling their story of courtship and marriage in 2014/2015. It is almost too good to be true but I know God miraculously brought them together.

As they share their story they have told other's story whom they have ministered to and with thru the years. The total package is very encouraging for that person that has thought marriage may never come their way, (Nancy was 57). Bible references, also lets the reader know that even in the most bleak times of our lives God is there pursuing and waiting for us to call out to Him.

Read the book. Easy read and definitely encouraging to trust God with ALL of yourself.

This book helped in a time where I needed to see what God was doing in my life. Hearing the stories of others and how they fought against the odds was inspiring. I am so glad that NetGalley and the publishers allowed me to read this. I have no words. It was a confirming and touching voyage. Do not miss your chance of reading this book. Your eyes will be opened to see your current circumstances through spiritual eyes; instead of being moved by the winds and waves around you.
