I received a free copy of Break Me in exchange for an honest review. This was a quick easy read, and the author, Tracy Wolff, didn't waste anytime connecting Destiny and Heath in a very intense relationship. this was a great read that I would definitely recommend to friends.amd family.

Holy guacamole, I want to be Destiny. The story of Heath and Destiny is blazing hot. The chemistry is off the charts. I loved it. I like the backstory for both. I love that Destiny is a take no prisoners kind of girl. Heath is too yummy for words. The writing is smooth and moves at a good pace. The characters have likeability and realism.

Here's the thing. I am not quite a fan of insta-shag. Most of the time anyway. And this is one of those times.

I can understand insta-attraction; it happens. But for you to get down and dirty almost instantly with very few words on the first meeting? Yeah, that's a bit much for my prune-minded mine to take.

This is not my first Tracy Wolff novel. I have read one of her works before - Make Me, which I really enjoyed. I thought I would enjoy this one as well but unfortunately, I don't. The characters didn't quite click with me, though my heart goes out almost immediately to Heath.

Thank you Netgalley and Carina Press for the online copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book comes with its own disclaimer "The Dirty Bits from Carina Press give you what you want, when you want it. Designed to be read in an hour or two, these sex-filled micro romances are guaranteed to pack a punch and deliver a happily-ever-after."

Wow. Ok. Where to begin with this. Let me being by saying that this book absolutely can be read in a couple of hours. However, it does not end with a happily-ever-after. Instead it ends on a we're are happy right now. However considering the lives these two people live, and the opportunities presented, we don't get any real sense as to whether or not these two can actually make a relationship work.

Even with a decent writing style, this story was just too bizarre and disjointed to really be enjoyable for me. There was so much potential to get into the why of these two people, but the only side we see of them is when they are going at each other like teenagers. There is seemingly no reason for them to act the way that they do especially the first time they meet. Instead it is a bunch of randomly thrown together sex with very little anything else to really pull the reader in.

Honestly, I feel as though the author took a full length novel, and then for the purposes of being classified as a "dirty bits" novel, literally look out 95% of the story and just left the sex scenes. If you are one of those people who read books for the smut than you will absolutely love this one. However, if you are like me and want some actual story to go along with it, then you are likely to be disappointed.

DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This has not affected my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.

I do normally like these quick novellas, but this one wasn't good. It was bizarre with no storyline. I like a little bit of a convincing story with my sex scenes. There was nothing here. I wouldn't recommend this one.

Break Me is book 3 in The Art of Pleasure series. These naughty, filthy stories are fun and sexy. I enjoy the 'dirty bits". As a quick hit, it has a sexy story with instalust followed by some instant gratification. No need to wait in these erotic romps. Just be prepared to need to take the edge off...

I absolutely love the Dirty Bits series by Carina Press! They are short tales that are bite-sized pieces of romance to be consumed within a few hours. Delightful and decadent, these no bs stories are just the right amount of sweet and spicy! The stories are quick and oh so much fun!

Tracy Wolff has written three stories in her Art of Pleasure series and I have enjoyed all three. Destiny is our heroine in Break Me and she is quite the whirlwind! She knows what she wants and goes after it until she gets it. Being a glass artist, sometimes that takes long hours, but her finished product is worth all her hard work. When she agrees to an interview with one of the leading magazines in the country, she is unprepared for the feelings that surface upon meeting the interviewer-Heath.

Heath is an investigative journalist covering all types of stories, most recent in war torn areas. Disabled while on assignment, Heath is still coming to grips with all the things he can not do anymore. A complete fan of Destiny's work, he jumped at the chance to take the assignment and interview her. He is not prepared for Destiny herself and what she wants from him. Let's just say is isn't his journalistic prowess!

I really devoured this quick read! I love these fast and furious stories as they get right to the point! Destiny and Heath were like throwing gas on a roaring fire! They were totally consumed with each other and I loved it! Bring along something cold to drink as this is sure to get your motor running!

3.5 Steamy Stars!

A good short read!

The writing was great, the characters were well balanced, and the chemistry was through the roof. I enjoyed being able to read it in one sitting and I didn't feel like anything was too cliché, which is a bit difficult to find when it comes to erotica novels, as much as I love them.

Overall, I'd say well worth the time and money. I will definitely read more by this author!

Decent storyline, hot lovin, but not much conflict - most books without much outside conflict feature a iinane inability if the main characters to communicate with each other this had neither so it felt too easy.

Destiny Bridges has always been driven by the images in her head. For most of her life, her art has been everything to her, with people and life and even sex coming in very distant seconds. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Tracy Wolff is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

This was a surprisingly sweet book. Based on the description, I thought this would mostly be erotic scenes with no character development. While it started off raunchy, I liked how their relationship developed. I liked how the roles were reversed and the female was the more dominant one. The hero was very endearing

ARC received for review

I love Ms. Wolff's books, but not this series. There was lots of sex and very little story with holes in it.

This was my favourite in this series. I loved Destiny's character with her go for it attitude and her love of art. I enjoyed Heath immediately, he was dealing with the fallout from an injury that's changed where is life is going. I loved the chemistry between, yes it was instantaneous, but it's a dirty bits read, I'd expect nothing more. I enjoyed the relationship that developed over the five days, and for me I could feel its depth despite the short amount of time. There were plenty of hot sex scenes to spice up the story.

Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin-Carina Press for a digital copy in return for an honest review.

Break Me is part of Carina Press' micro romance line, The Dirty Bits, which is a collection of short, easy-to-read erotic romance stories that should take around an hour or so to read. As such, they tend to be less about the plot and believability of the story, rather, they focus on the intense connections made by characters in a short space of time.

While I have to admit that I found the plot and timeline of the story unconvincing (even with the above caveat well grounded in my mind before beginning), Break Me was still a fun way to spend an hour or so reading.

Destiny is an artist who creatures amazing glass sculptures and her path crosses with journalist, Heath, when he's assigned to interview her for an article. She's a very private person and he's recovering from injuries sustained while working as a war correspondent. The two have a week of intense romance in which they need to sort out what is simple lust and what might be the beginning of something real.

For what it was, Break Me was fun. As a reader I had to shift my perspective from full-length romance novel to micro romance but that's a good thing.

I received this eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I just couldn't get into this book. Two strangers meet, have an instant attraction and then they can't stop going after each other. I'm all for that in a book, but I also need a bit more. There are dark pasts that neither of them want to think, which means that I'm left in the dark about it, and the focus is on the superficial things, which makes me disconnect from the story.

I'm sure other readers will enjoy this novel, but it just wasn't for me overall.

It took me under an hour to read it. I know they’re meant to be short and steamy, which they are, but the beginning when they met and just started going at it about 2 minutes later was just super weird to me. Things move super sexy fast in 5 days.

This novella was definitely steamy, but the plot (such as it was) felt awkwardly shoehorned in between sex scenes. Especially when the artist and the journalist spend long paragraphs expounding on the virtues of art and different glassblowing techniques. Sometimes it seemed like Wolff had written a research paper on the topic and copied in whole sections as dialogue.

I did think it was cute that she was his favorite artist and he was her favorite journalist, even prior to meeting. Destiny was a little too manic pixie dream girl (she literally has *rainbow* hair), and Heath's emotional journey after being injured almost felt too easy. But there's no denying they had great chemistry!
