Detective Kate and ex-con Nick have been assigned a task to find a Silicon Valley mogul known as The Big Kahuna. His wife assumes he is just off on some romp with another woman, but she is still ready for him to come home. Along with Kate’s obnoxious partner Cosmo, Kate and Nick go off on an adventure that neither of them could have prepared for. This book has one mystery after another and a plethora of twists that you won’t see coming!

This was such a great fun read. I could not put down, read it in one sitting, it was so packed with action, literally shocked me the amount of stuff the author was able to fit in this book. Then adding in humor, and masterfully-developed characters, you get one incredible book. excellent addition to the series, I loved the development of nick and Kate's relationship too!

Kate O’Hare, a straight by-the-book FBI agent, is stuck working with charming Nicholas Fox, a con man/informant that the FBI have an ‘arrangement’ with. OK. With these two, funny just got funnier, so hold on to your socks, you are going for a ride.

A Silicon Vally billionaire, known as The Big Kahuna, has gone missing, and Kate and Nick are in charge of locating him. It seems, however, no one else is interested in finding him, alive that is. He is more useful and valuable to his wife (actress-turned-Instagram-model), and to his Czech business partner dead. The only trail to investigate is the Big Kahuna’s drop-out stoner surfer son, who lives in Hawaii, so Kate and Nick go undercover as a bohemian couple in the small Hawaiian surfer community. That all goes south, quickly. And more...

This is a fabulous read, full of fun, humor, mystery, and I recommend both this book and these authors!
