Lovely festive read. It was a heart warming romance. It was a wonderful book to read. It was well written and flowed well. Magical read

I got a sense of deja vu when I started this book. I knew it sounded like a book I’d enjoy based on the description (magic pies!). But I didn’t realize it was from a series until I started it and recognized the characters from the first book. My opinion is, read the first book before this. Otherwise you might wonder why one of the characters used to be a cat.

This book picks up shortly after the first one. Susie is still getting used to the fact that magic is real and her family uses it.

She’s working at her aunt Erma’s pie shop. She’s also trying to get to the bottom of the missing, magic spices.

There’s an agency in town, the IMPs, that are trying to use magic for bad purposes.

I enjoyed this book. What’s not to like about magical pies?

I got to read an early copy from NetGalley. Thanks!
