Wow! The new Dare series is nothing like the norm for Harlequin. It is exciting, enticing, and keeps you in tune with the characters. Not saying that Harlequin was dull. Just saying that this book is super spicy! So what that Blair and Reid grew up as family friends. So what that they are 10 years apart. Ten years are just a spatter on the calendar when they come back together to fulfill a contract that Reid's dad put in motion. She fits with the family. She knows his past and hopefully she wants to be part of his future.

I just finished this book and really enjoyed it. Actually I couldn't put it down.
I like the fact that the Reid and Blair switch roles in their relationship rather than always retaining their archetypal roles with the man being the instigator and the woman just going along with what he says.
It was (bitter)sweet to introduce Graham's condition - I've gone through a similar situation with my father, and I thought it was a nice, and unexpected touch.
I would love to read other books by JC Harroway - an excellent writer. Thoroughly enjoyable book.

This was a quick book full of steam.

I wasn't sure if Graham was joking about not knowing who Blair was or if he was really sick. I could have gone two ways on my feelings about this book because of that plot line. I wish the author had maybe said Blair looked like Reid's ex and that is why his Dad thought she was Sadie. I needed a little more here to be ok with the dementia aspect.

I did like the steaminess in the book. It was hot and heavy. I liked that Blair knew what she wanted and stood up for herself.

If you are looking for a quick, steamy read pick up this book.

In our society it is often the older man with a younger women. She may be seen as a gold digger or needing a daddy figure. What happens when the man you love passes away and you try to move forward with your life.?You find yourself attracted to someone and now the tables are turned, you are the older person in the relationship and he is younger. Are you now a cougar and only looking for a toy or can it be a truly meaningful relationship.... I guess time will tell.


You need to read this book.

An addictive read focusing on the story of Reid and Blair, who reunite as adults after 10 years since last seeing each other. The sexual chemistry is higher than ever and this is portrayed and decribed effectively within the story! I enjoyed the inclusion of the family aspect with enough attention to build the relationship between Reid and Blair throughout the book. Would read the author again!

Sexy and fun. Ten years is a lot when you're young, but this story tells the tale of the advantages of that age gap when you meet again as adults. This was a fast paced and fun read with a perfect HEA. There were some very emotional scenes with the guys' father as he battles dementia. Well written and plotted. I love this DARE line ny Harlequin and this author fits it perfectly.

Within thirty seconds of meeting Reid Faulkner again, I’m reminded of exactly why I had a crush on him for so many years. That confidence, that effortless control.When I started reading I couldn't put it down.JC Harroway is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.Can't wait for the next book.
