All in all, this seemed to be a simple, and sadly a bit dry, love story.

I must admit, the begging few chapters were very humorous and the tension between the characters was amusing and teasing which made me continue reading with anticipation and a broad smile. Yet to my disappointment, the story lost this quality.

Why?...

The sex scenes, which consisted around 60% of the story is what I would describe simply as dry. Whether Claire has a praising kink or not, the constant praises which repeated once and again became extremely boring and robotic. Generally, the scenes held very little emotion and development which I expected to see in the growth of the characters. Mostly felt like I was reading scripted porn.

The characters themselves were interesting, yet I would've liked to see more backstory to know how meaningful certain things were. For example, Claire's "Friday" which was off-limits. Knowing the backstory previously would've made the revelation more impactful and meaningful for the readers, in my opinion.

Overall, it's sad for me to say that this book didn't impact me in ways I hoped it would. I liked it, but didn't feel moved by it at all.

BDSM plot with a bit of surprise events. Submissive Claire is a Swiss Banker with a past that keeps her from embarking on any romantic relationships. She is business only. Luca is an Italian business man who also has past ghosts to deal with but offers Claire his DOM experience. Enjoyed their dynamics and the narrative along with the characters were well developed. "A copy of this book was provided by Totally Bound Publishing via NetGalley with no requirments for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."
