I enjoyed this book so much. This was the first book that I've read by this author. The storyline and book cover are the first things I noticed and it didn't disappoint. The book was from two points of view - the main character Libby - and Harrison Banks, the owner of the resort. Such a fun, quick beach read. It was funny, endearing and just a feel good rom com novel. I read it in one day! I highly recommend!

Thanks Netgalley for the ARC. Looking forward to reading more from this author!

Maybe readers who can look past the most cliched elements of this genre (chick-lit) but this novel seem far too predictable for me. The characters themselves seem to fit the usual stereotypes: the whole 'opposite attracts', she is hard-working, he is laid-back...
I wasn't a fan of her thinking that she is different from other women:
"I'm not that kind of girl"
I'm so tired of reading this phrase and the implications that it carries (other women are flirty etc.).
The humour felt very forced.
As I said (or wrote) readers who can look bast overdone tropes might enjoy this.

This is a super fun rom com, which was both enjoyable and easy to read. I’ve never read anything by Melanie Summers before- but I definitely will be looking at more of her books. This book is charming and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved it! I definitely recommend.
