Get ready to fall in love with Cosy and Griffin in Making Up. You will just love them as much as I did. Cosy is a hoot and you will swoon over Griffin. I love their connection and the way they meet will be just the start of your laugh out loud moments in this read. Navigating a new relationship is never easy and just watch as Griffin and Cosy handle things together and apart. It just as fun as them Making Up. I seriously love them together and boy do they heat up the pages. I really love what Helena Hunting brings to the pages. This is a guarantee one click for me and it should be for you too.

I am not making this up... YOU WILL ADORE COSY AND GRIFFIN'S STORY!!

Making Up is book four in the Shacking Up series and it was filled with the same sexy, charming, and humorous scenes that Helena Hunting is known for.

She gave us two great characters in Cosy and Griffin. They have an awkward yet memorable first meeting. It's a sexy suit meets quirky virgin. And there is an age gap that adds more excitement to the plot.

Cosy is a twenty-two-year-old college student who works at a sex shop to pay the bills. Her personality is much on the shy and innocent side, but when she is at work she is confident. She is focused on finishing college and getting a degree. Her plans are to land a job that allows her to travel. She meets a handsome, sexy suit when he walks into the sex shop she works at.

Griffin is a businessman who gets what he wants. He is loyal, charming, and sexy AF. He is intrigued when he meets Cosy. He wants her but knows she is younger.

Their age difference makes each of them hesitant to start any relationship, but once they go on one date their chemistry is hard to fight. There is added drama from past exes and past hookups.

This book is filled with adventure, steamy scenes, and Helena's humor.

I give Making Up 4 stars. It was a fun, flirty, and sexy romance with likable characters that were awkwardly perfect for each other. The story was easy to read and can be read in one sitting. Reading Helena Hunting books are my guilty pleasure and I'm always ready for more!!

A guy walks into a sex shop....

What sounds like a start to a joke, kinda is. Griffin draws the short straw and has to purchase gifts for a bachelor party. Cosy, who works there while trying to get through college, knows how to handle her customers with humor, and has a rule of never dating customers. When Griffin comes back to the store looking for a date, she reluctantly agrees to one.

Cosy is an independent woman, but she is new to the field of relationships. Griffin has a whole lot baggage that gets in the way. These two suffer several setbacks before finding their way.

OH, and the jerk cousin from Hooking Up makes a brief surprise appearance.

I have loved every book by Helena Hunting so far, and this one was great as well, but it wasn't my favorite. I liked Cosy a lot, but then it seemed like once her age was known it was like she flipped a switch and seemed to act totally differently. At the beginning I totally thought she was in her mid/late twenties not barely 22.
I really liked Griffin and he is totally swoon worthy but I feel like he tried to act too much like her age to make it seem like their age gap wasn't too noticeable.
It took me a bit to get into it, but over all it was funny, and I laughed out loud quite a bit!

Helena Hunting is the queen of RomCom. I bow down to her! Making Up was amazing. That first scene was epic and it had me laughing out loud. Griffin and Cosy couldn’t be more different but they make it work. It has the right amount of lol moments, steam, sweetness, and filled with the right amount of drama to keep you hooked and wanting to get to their hea.

It’s the perfect addition to the Shacking Up Series. This is a definite must read!

Holy drama, batman! I don't even know where to start...I loved the blurb of MAKING UP but this turned out to be so much different than I thought.

Cosy is a twenty two year old college student and I loved that she had an unconventional job - it sounded like she would be sassy and funny. I wish I could confirm that but I found her judgmental and rude in the beginning when she met thirty-three year old Griffin. I did warm up to her a little until she showed me what a drama queen she was. Damn that girl was all over the place and always thought the worst of Griffin. She jumped to conclusions and left in a huff. I hated how she treated Griffin and couldn't get over herself.

Then there is Griffin. I actually loved the guy, how smitten he was, how he tried to win Cosy over. He was sweet, a little awkward even. Until he had a personality transplant. All of a sudden he was cocky and snarky. Something that didn't feel consistent with the way he had been portrayed before. And when the whole ex-fiancee drama started and what was already a steep descent turned into a nosedive. I was done. It was just too much for me. I am hopeful though that Helene Hunting's August release will be more my jam!

Griffin and Cosy have such a fun relationship. They both know that it has an expiration date, but they don’t let that stop them from enjoying each other in the mean time.

Cosy is such an independent soul. She loves to travel, takes care of her older sister when she’s in between boyfriends, and continues to get her education to follow her dreams. She also doesn’t care much about people’s opinions of her. She is who she is, and you either take it or leave it.

Griffin is jaded from past relationships. His trust has been shattered, and he isn’t looking for anything serious. He knows he wants what his brothers and father have, but doesn’t want to put himself out there.

I loved how Griffin was with Cosy and vise versa. They both had their insecurities about their relationship, and they both made sure to help their other person see that they had no need to dwell. They made each other whole and fought for each other’s happiness.

Just Enough For You
Another great addition to this laugh-out-loud, sexy as sin, rom-com series! Every man in the Mills family is gifted with a face and body that will leave you drooling and a mouth that will leave you swooning. Griffin is the whole package!

The story begins with an epically funny & uncomfortable (for him) first meet! I just couldn’t stop smiling.

Cosy is a free spirited, hard working college student and just plain great. She works at an adult toy store. She meets a customer, sexy suit included, who looks like he could use some guidance.

Griffin is more than just a walking billboard for selling business suits...even though he’s super HOT! He’s just buying some gag gfits for a bachelor party...likely story!!

When weeks go by and Griffin just can’t get Cosy out of his head, he makes his move. And so their romance begins.

Get ready for an emotional ride. You’ll be getting an age gap romance with some drama. Griffin seems like a normal business man but when things start going well, it all begins to fall apart because the past gets in their way.

This series has incredible characters and it so well-written. Even when your heart is breaking, the author makes you smile with the wit and humor these characters constantly deliver. Oh and did I mention that their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS? It’s an inferno!!! A definite must read if you love this series as much as I do.

These Mills men have put a spell on me! I fell in love with Bane first, and then Lex, and I was so excited when Helena Hunting announced that enigmatic Griffin would be getting a book as well. Making Up was such a sexy and sweet age gap romcom. This is book 4 in the Shacking Up series, but it can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone.

Bane has always been my favorite, but Griffin might have *just* eclipsed him. Griffin has been dealt a pretty terrible hand and his confidence and ego have taken a bruising, but I loved his vulnerable side as much as his alpha possessiveness. He was the perfect amount of sweet and sexy and his chemistry with Cosy was off the charts! Even though they both initially have reservations about the more than a decade age difference, Griffin needed someone just like vibrant Cosy to heal his jaded heart. She's the soft curves to his sharp edges. Yes, sometimes her youthfulness showed, but in some ways she was also much more mature than her 22 years. The build up between them was so delectable and the foreplay alone almost set my kindle on fire!

Making Up was filled with Helena Hunting's signature humor and wit. Those laugh out loud "is she really going to go there?" moments are what make me love her romcoms so much! I also enjoyed catching glimpses of several of my Shacking Up series favorites (*swoon* Bane) and getting to know Lincoln better. The story flowed well, but was a little cliche and predictable with some of the drama, especially regarding Griffin's ex, Imogen. I appreciated that it was resolved just as quickly as it appeared though and the little twist at the end was a great way to pull the series together. The epilogue left me with a dopey grin on my face and I'm excited for Lincoln's story next in Handle With Care!

Making Up by Helena Hunting is the fourth book in the Shacking Up series and follows eldest brother Griffin Mills. Griffin finds himself at a sex shop buying gag gifts for a Vegas bachelor party when sales associate Cosy catches his eye. Mortified by his current situation she helps him find everything on his list with some flirty banter and assumes she’ll never see him again. Well, isn’t Cosy surprised when Griffin walks back into the shop a few weeks later...

He’s in town for business and Cosy is finishing up some college courses before she starts an internship. She reluctantly agrees to go out to dinner with him and they learn there’s a substantial age gap between them but neither seems to care. Cosy is everything Griffin has been looking for since ending a previous long-term relationship. And Griffin is everything she’s wanted in a guy after a history of duds. But men as powerful as Griffin come with a lot of baggage and Cosy isn’t sure her heart is ready to navigate this rocky future ahead of her. They come from totally different worlds and she’s not naive enough to think that lust conquers all...

You all know I LOVE the Shacking Up series and I was so excited to dive into Griffin’s book. He’s the older and more reserved brother and that’s reflected in the tone of this one. There’s still some of the trademark Helena Hunting humor and one-liners I’ve come to love - but their relationship develops quickly and with a much more serious undertone. Griffin has a lot of baggage from his past, A LOT. And their age difference is definitely reflected in how they initially react to situations but I felt like Cosy really came into her own throughout the story and ended up being incredibly mature in what she has to deal with. They are opposites in every way and yet they come across as equals within the relationship which isn’t easy considering the powerful family he comes from. There’s plenty of sexy banter but on the heat scale this one is definitely on the tamer side if you tend to shy away from all of the explicit details. We also get to meet more of Lincoln, his cousin, which helps set up the fifth book coming out in August. There’s a few quick cameos from Bane, Lex and of course Armstrong, which were entertaining and fun and I love when all the characters weave in and out of the different stories! This next one in the series is out July 16th so make sure you pre-order your copy! // 3.5/5

Thanks to St Martins Press and SMP Romance for an ARC to review! All opinions are my own!

One thing guaranteed with Helena's books- they're 💯 pure entertainment. There's a perfectly spiced pot of hot hunky goulash, lots of smiles and laughter, a dash of sensitivity and a perfect HEA.
All this is proportionate spiced, cooked to mouthwatering perfection and served sizzling hot.
I can pick up ANY of her books and I'm assured of. A good time
This one is no different.

Cosy Felton works in a STW- Sex Toy Warehouse, yet manages to cling to her innocence. Note that she's not naïve, just unadulterated and unjaded. In walks Sex-on-legs, Griffin Mills of the Mills Hotel chain, whose family has like Eleventy Billion dollars!!
"Dear sweet Jesus on a cloud of marshmallows,It’s a good thing clits don’t react like penises, otherwise mine would be hanging out of the bottom of my shorts with excitement."
So yeah...she gets a lady-boner. He turns out to be older, funnier, cuter and a whole lot...*read that* Too Lot of dick-possessing sexier.

“So I take your age and divide it by two—”
“—and add seven,”
The story is full of fun and laughs. Thoroughly enjoyable, wise Ass cracks, smart Ass comments and somewhere in there are feelings that kind of latch into your heart.
I need to mention something, Helena writes perfectly. The stories are neither slow nor fast, not too many sads or over the top laughs, no darkness or frivolous lightness...it's just right.
A runaway hit from a super it series.
Pick up for a good time!
5 stars for Big Smelly Huge Goat Balls

I was talking to my mom the other day about how awed I am that authors, such as Helena can find new and unique ways to tell a story—giving characters distinct personalities, quirks and storylines, that keep you wanting to come back for more. (I think this plays a huge role in determining what authors I plan to read and get excited about before a blurb is even revealed.)

Making Up is exactly that and more. Helena has created two characters, Griffin and Cosy, that immediately have chemistry. The dialogue is fun, sexy and deep. The storyline will make it hard for you to go slow in reading the book. In fact, I devoured it within a day!

This book is a stand-alone, however the shacking Up world has been so much fun to read, that I recommend that you read from the beginning to truly understand what I mean when I say Helena does a fabulous job making each book special.

Another stellar story by the amazing Helena Hunting.

Set in the amazing Shaking Up world this is Griffin's story.  I have been so looking forward to his!! I am a sucker for the strong, silent type and he fits the bill fabulously!

Griffin and Cosy are a magnetic couple, even with the bit of unorthodox mixed in for fun. A bit of the prince and the pauper and a bit of an age gap but nothing creepy or "squicky".

I was amazed and humored by Cosy.  Her age was not a hinderance at all.  She was mature beyond her years and she was feisty and fun as she should be at her age.  It was the perfect blend.

Oh Griffin, Ms. Hunting never fails to make me swoon with her hero's.  Just when I think she can't beat her last hero, she gives more and makes a man even more imperfectly perfect than before.

Griffin and Cosy's story is going to keep you turning the pages until the end and then wish it wasn't over.  Their story isn't all hearts and flowers...it's real and bumpy and oh so just wowza!

Get your hands on this fantastic story! You will thank me later!

I am confident that Helena Hunting has caused some serious chemical reactions in my brain. Because I lost my orientation to time and place while reading Making Up, the new sexy contemporary romantic comedy by her. Otherwise I wouldn't lose track of time or give some rather inappropriate and hilarious reactions in public place. It was perfect in every way. Imagine an intense and epic love story wrapped by cover of sarcasm and wit to its best. And Making Up will still be better than anything.

Two things those make this story so amazing. The characters and the storyline. Both the leading characters are unforgettable. Cosy is a gorgeous, bright, optimistic , independent and a totally different kind of woman. She takes life like an adventure and lives every moment to the fullest. She doesn't want to make things complicated.I totally loved the way she handles the situations in her own way with sass, strength and certain moral standards. And Griffin is exact opposite of her. He is older and has an even older soul. He is the polished and sophisticated billionaire businessman outside but he is actually very thoughtful, charming and understanding. He respects Cosy and her decisions but he isn't afraid of taking control when needed. He is the most intriguing combination of sweet and dominating! And seriously he was melting my heart and panties all the way. He has this vulnerable side locked tight inside that came from betrayal and bitter experience from his past relationships. But I was swooning so hard over how he let Cosy in!

Let's talk about the storyline. It was a genius one. I had a blast while reading it. The author shifted gears effortlessly and smoothly all the time. The initial encounter and story progression was hundred percent funny and laughing-my-guts-out kind. And then she introduced the layers of drama in small, effective and surprising doses. So the story shifted to a sombre emotional side and my heart was breaking for the couple. The misunderstandings and heartache were put in the story very cleverly so that the flow never became boring or one dimensional. Again the subtle witty and sarcastic streaks kept it from becoming too heavy. I was hooked and invested in the story heavily. I laughed with happy and silly moments. I got angry and upset with the heartbreaking turns. I became the expert cheerleader and supporter! The relationship between a penniless college student aka part time sex toy store salesman with heart of gold and a uber rich businessman with wounded soul starts from a chance encounter and the heat is built up painfully slowly till they have a bone deep, soul numbing and all consuming connection. They face some real life obstacles. They have their fair share of mildly angsty and emotional pain. And the journey was phenomenal because of the elegant, engaging, bewitching and exquisite writing of Helena Hunting book.

Making Up by Helena Hunting is a complete luxurious package for a romance reader. It was entertaining, light hearted and rib-tickling goodness. It was also heartwarming, swoonworthy and poignant brilliance. It was a story that claimed my heart and marked it forever with the genius storytelling.

Making Up had everything in the story that kept my attention, witty banter, sizzling chemistry and characters that were a lot of fun to read about.
I loved Cosy, she has a unique name as well as what she does for a living. She's different, young and quirky but also a really caring person. Enter Griffin, he's a bit secretive but a whole lot of charming in a rather hot package. When these two meet, the chemistry is off the charts and despite a difference they get along famously, with her snark and his brawn, they are quite the match.
There is of curse a lot of drama, so many laughs to be had and some moments where you think to yourself, oh no what will happen??? I really really enjoyed reading it so much so I finished it on a day. The author definitely has a knack for writing entertaining but also heartfelt stories. Loved it!!

I'm on a horrible streak of books that I've been unable to connect with and unfortunately this book didn't break me out of my funk. I never connected with the story and ended up mostly skimming. The banter was cute at first but eventually a story that was just too over the top for my taste evolved and I just check out. Just not my cup of tea.

Helena Hunting is a one click author for me! I have been anxiously waiting for last Mills brother to arrive and Helena did not disappoint!! He is sweet, slightly shy, yet commanding, he is absolute perfection and the wait was worth it!

Griffin Mills is the eldest Mills brother, yet very different from his two younger outspoken and don't mind living in the spotlight brothers. Griffin is a numbers man, the traveler, and planner. He has helped build the Mills Hotel chain by being calculated, meeting Cosy Felton while he was shopping for gag gifts in a sex toy shop was not his usual style, but something told him she was worth the risk. She may be a little younger than he is, but he's willing to take a chance, at least see what their connection is while he's working in Vegas. If it doesn't work out then no harm, he's only in town for a couple months and they can end things when he leaves. Seems easy enough, that is until things get complicated.

Cosy was finishing her degree and working part-time in a sex shop when a gorgeous man in a suit came walking in. Sure lots of people came in everyday, but there was something different about this particular suit. Griffin was shy, downright awkward about being in the store and Cosy couldn't help but be drawn to him. Even against her better judgement and her self appointed rule about dating customers, she gives in...hello he's gorgeous. What she doesn't find out until weeks later is Griffin is more than just a suit, he's a hotel mogul billionaire suit. What is he doing with her?

Griffin is a serial monogamist, a billionaire, and a decade older with just a bit more baggage than Cosy, can he really offer her what she needs as she's just getting started with her life, which includes diner milkshakes, no long term commitments, and barely affording rent?

Cosy has yet to see the world, she never makes plans, when she wants to go somewhere she just hops in her car and heads in a direction. Can she really offer Griffin a life of perfection when he is used to having everything at his fingertips and she's a hot mess?

Cosy and Griffin are so imperfectly perfectly matched, that once they get over their own imperfections they wake up and realize just how perfect they are for each other. This is just one of the reasons I adore Helena's writing! Make sure you add this one to your TBR now!

Another freaking awesome book by Helena Hunting!!!

Cosy is working in an adult toy store and meets Griffin, who shops for a bachelor party. Interesting sparks fly. A few weeks later he asks her out, where they realize they have almost a decade of age difference. Can they keep up this casual fling they have? Is the age gap too big?

This book is so hilarious, and the scenes are extremely funny. I love spunky and sassy Cosy! Griffin is totally adorable, and not necessarily a stuck up suit, even tho he’s a billionaire and what he wants he gets.

This book it home so much, as my hubs is 13 years older, and I was 20, when I met him. So I can totally relate to some age gap struggles... but over 22 happy years later, I can say we managed them all :)

I kindly received an arc for an honest review

Welcome back to the Mills brothers!!!! We finally get a glimpse into the psyche of Griffin Mills the oldest of the trio. This is one steamy and yet tender loving romance that will melt your heart. Griffin the numbers man that is always traveling shows us his depth and heart. He is more than what his name and looks convey. Self conscious and careful, he never knew that one chance meeting in the most embarrassing of shopping spree's would find him his soulmate.
Cosy, yes and unusual name for a unique personality. Free spirited, she vowed to not be tied down by the tourist or suits, as she calls them, that come through Vegas. Plans change as they often do when you meet the one.
Making up is another masterpiece by Helena Hunting, giving me more than I bargained for, forcing me to stay up reading it until the last word on the page is read. Griffin and Cosy are now my favorite Mills brother couple!

I binged read this book along with Handle with Care. I am hoping that there are more books in this series.
