Well, that was a roller coaster of epic emotions. I am not even sure I know what happened. I was impressed by Lexi Ryan, to say the least. I don't think I have read many, if any, of her books before. I am a fan now! This book was intrigue, drama, and sexiness all rolled into one sweet easy read. I highly recommend it!

Hanna woke up in a hospital and had no memories from the last year of her life after an accidental fall down the stairsThe last thing she remembers is being at Brady’s, having a drink , and trying not to get caught looking at her long time crush Max Halloway. When she comes to in the hospital she is apparently engaged to max and lost about fifty pounds and started a bakery business and she has a silent partner and doesn’t know who it is. She doesn’t remember any of it. The doctor said she had retrograde amnesia. Why is her relationship with her twin sister gone now? After being home she wakes up next to Nate who is a rock star. Is she cheating?
I had mixed feelings about this book. I believe my review will show that. First I didn’t care for Max and was cheering for Nate. But I felt he gave up on Hanna too quick if he really wants her. I hate cliffhangers and this was one. But this made me choke up at times and want to protect HannaI thought this could have a little less sex. I’m not into love triangles . especially when Max seems to be shady to me. So yup mixed feelings on this book.

Everything you thought you knew about your life...gone. You wake up and all of a sudden everything you thought you wanted is yours. That alone is a mindf@ck. But without context, or the last year of your life, it doesn't make sense. You don't feel right. You can't take everyone's word for what it is because...you don't feel it. With one exception, there's one person with answers but will they be what you want or what you need!?!

Lost in Me is going to pull Hanna in different directions but the reader is going to doubt and drool too. Everyone will pick a side. Everyone will choose but did you make the right choice?

We wont find out until the end and this my friends is just the beginning!

I flew through this book so fast. I was so wrapped into this story. I'm a little annoyed that I'm just finding out it's a trilogy because I want more. I couldn't imagine almost losing a year in time and then finding out you're about to marry your longtime so-far-out-of-reach crush, and that your life is perfect. And then there is confusion, a rockstar, and family/friend alienation...oh my!

Have I ever said I hate cliffhangers? I really do but somehow this one was fitting for this story.
Stranded between two men who she can't remember was quite difficult for Hanna.
I'm not sure for whom I’m cheering here – Max was a nice guy but something is rubbing me wrong, Nate is somewhat evasive and had me hot and cold half the time so i'm not sure who's team i belong at the moment.

I'm hoping book 2 will give me more answers because right now all I have is ton of questions but somehow I doubt it :)

I received a free copy of Lost In Me from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Spoilers ahead...

Oh my fucking God!! This book made ma want to hurl my Kindle across the room then pick it back up and kiss it better.
Such a unique read. Such an amazing, sweet, sexy and infuriating story.

I loved Hanna and the love drama that she was tangled it. It made crazy curious to know what actually happened, why or how she fell down the stairs? What happened between her and Max? And what the hell happened between her and Nate? I finished reading this book and I still don't fucking know.

Max was a douche and Nate was an ass. Why couldn't they be upfront with her? Why keep so many secrets?

Yes, they were both assholes, yet I loved them both.

Now I need to start the second book because that cliffhanger threw me for a loop.

I will definitely reccomend this book. Lexi Ryan is amazing!!

I'm glad I didn't know this wasn't a HEA book and had a cliffhanger at the end. I'm tired of picking up books thinking I'm getting the complete story only to get to the end and then Bam! I have to read another book or two.

Holy smokes I'm glad I didn't know. Awesome book. I was a little on the fence as the premise of Hanna waking up with amnesia and a love triangle between Max and Nate could have been really cheesy. Ryan does a fantastic job of the intrigue of what had been going on in the last year of Hanna's life and all that she's missed.

Good switching between present and I really liked how the memories that Hanna remembered lead up to the present.

I will definitely be getting my hands on the second book in the series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love traingles must be one of the most popular cliches of the Romance genre, but truth be told I barely find them in books lately. I can’t remember when was the last time where a love trinagle (or even bigger polygons) was important in a story. Maybe the Sookie Stackhouse books? Anyway, this short trip through memory lane was just to announce that this book has a love triangle… but the way it is presented is quite original.

This first part of the story is told from the point of view of Hanna, a young woman who due to an accident has lost her memories of the last year. When she wakes up, she barely can recognize her life: thinner body, own bakery, a hottie as a fiancé… But everything that shines is not gold in nature, so she soon starts to see cracks in her new perfect life. One of the biggest ones: the stranger who is in her bed behaving like a secret lover… Now more than ever she needs her memories back. Little by little, the veil is lifted to uncover the truth.

The first book by Lexi Ryan that I read didn’t leave a good impression on me. Too much drama. So, when I took a look at the plot of this other book I was a bit exceptical. I was afraid of a replay of my previous experience with a story written by this author. It wasn’t a pleasant one. Thankfully, the drama in Lost in me is much more limited and makes much more sense. Besides, the way it is presented gives the story a pace more commonly found in Mystery books than Romance, but it is a pretty welcome one. In a few words: it is a page-turner. We are introduced to the new Hanna, where everything seems perfect, but in small dosis new details are presented that make her life stop looking like a fairy tale. What has happened in all those months? Is she happy or not? What is Max hiding? Who is Nate? And most importantly… was the accident truly an accident?

The mystery is unravaled in a very sweet slow pace. Yes, it is slow, but it never stops; so the reader is engaged at all times. And yes, I really liked this story, but I’m also a bit worried about the next two books. This is a trilogy and, even though there are still secrets and information missing, I have the feeling there is not going to be enough mystery to fill two more books. And without that mystery, the book would be pettry generic and lacking interest. But we will see… I could be totally wrong.

The love triangle is weird, but that is what makes it more fun. Hanna had a huge crush on Max the Hunk, but due to her insecurities she never asked him for a date. Big surprise when she wakes up and she is not only his girlfriend… she is sporting an engagement ring. Max looks like the perfect guy… all sweet talk and scorching attentions. But he is hiding something… And then we have Nate, the rocker who one day hop into Hanna’s bed and the poor woman almost had a heart attack. He obviously knew her intimately and it was clear that she was also having a relationship with him. Was she being unfaithful to the love of her life? I love how desperate she is for her memories aboout her peculiar love life. She admits having feelings for both of them, but she can’t understand why. She needs white and black answers, but Hanna always ends in the grey area… and we as readers know as much as she does, so it is also our task to put all the pieces together; which makes the reading more enjoyable. Right now, I don’t have a favourite hottie for her. I actually do not trust on any of them… There are still too many questions that need to be answered.

Sadly, the worst part of the book is Hanna herself. I sympathize with her insecurities, but sometimes she gets very annoying or even insulting. I don’t like when she puts all men in the same sack, the one with the “frivolous” label on it. I may prefer men, but I’m pretty sure most guys are ultimately more concerned about the woman herself than the size of her hips. So, the self-deprecating humor of Hanna gets old too fast… She behaves like a depressed woman who doesn’t have any support, but she is surrounded by friends and sisters with a very positive attitude towards her. Yes, there is an ogre dwelling nearby, one that should be slayed… but I still think the negative people is pretty much outnumbered in Hanna’s life. I hope that, in the next books, she starts focusing on the good she has and not in the so-called good she wants.

By the way, the ogre is not other than the mother. I hate her with a boiling passion. I expect her to be treated as the villain she is and that she gets the punishment she deserves. Worst mother ever!! She is selfish, unempathetic and thinks the world just spins around her. I blame her for the global unhapinnes of her daughter and it drives me crazy that she doesn’t care or, worst, that she doesn’t even notice. Your daughther barely remembers her boyfriend and you are pushind and pushing with the wedding!! I wanted to yell so loud everytime she is in the book. I demand a public flaying or something similar for her. If her psychological abuse is not treated as an issue in the next books I’m going to be very disappointed.

I have already add the next book to my TBR list, so I hope to read it sooner rather than later. Maybe even this year if I do my homewrok right. This one has left things in a very interesting setting…

I got this book from Netgalley expecting a fluffy filled with sex book with no plot. However I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. Yes, this book is an easy fast read, yes, this book is filled with sex scenes, however, this book still manages to have an interesting plot that got me invested since page one.

This book is filled with secrets, passion, drama, mystery and so much more I simply couldn’t put it down. I kept guessing as to what happened or who she should chose and I changed my mind every 10 pages. I do have to admit I am not rooting for any of the male characters, they just seem very toxic in my opinion. My only complaint is that some things felt very convenient, especially the timing of each memory coming back.

Overall all, this book is a solid fast, fun read filled with intrigued and uncertainty, the ending was such a cliff hanger and I am dying to get my hands on the second book.

Thanks to Netgalley for letting me read it

By far the best freakin book i have read this year. Lexi ryan is my new favorite author! I cant believe that by the first chapter I could not stop reading. I read most of the book at work today because i just couldn’t put it down! A love triangle with so many twists and turns i didnt see coming! Not to mention that Lexi Ryan always includes the importance of family in her books which i also love. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Lost in Me by Lexi Ryan just sucks you in right away. Can you imagine waking up, confused in a hospital bed, and find out that you had an accident a year ago.....oh and you are also engaged to the man you have been crushing on since you were young?! I could not imagine what was going through Hanna's mind. This book was amazing. Just when you thought Hanna was remembering an event, another juicy turn would happen. At some points I just could not handle what Hanna was finding out, which obviously were only parts of the story since she could not remember right away.

I do not want to add any spoilers beyond that....but the ending was so frustrating! I was like okay that was a great book, had some closure. Then the final paragraph. I see what you did there Lexi, I will have to buy the whole series now!

Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review.

Summary
In the wake of an accident, Hanna wakes up in the hospital and can't remember the last 11 months. She is somehow engaged to the man she never thought she could have. Her life seems perfect. Until one night Nate Crane shows up and Hanna realizes her life is twisted with lies and secrets she can't remember.

Overview
This is told from 3 POV's - Hanna, Max, and Nate

This story contains grey area cheating, lots and lots of drama, miscommunication, amnesia, and a front-and-center love triangle. If these aren't your tropes, this isn't your book.

This does end on a cliffhanger.

Content Warnings: Amnesia/memory loss, Cheating, Body Dysmorphia, Disordered eating, Body shaming, Depression, Death of a parent (in the past)

What I Liked
1. This book/series is compulsively readable. I never wanted to put this down - I actually read each book in the series in a single sitting. I can't remember the last time I read a book this quickly. This story and these character gripped from the first page. Lexi Ryan's writing had me desperately turning the pages. Every time I thought "just one more chapter" something would happen that would keep me reading.
2. The angst and drama were everything I didn't know I needed. There were times I kept telling myself that this or that trope should be bothering me because they're "over-done" but I just didn't care. I ate up every. damn. word.

What I Didn't Like
1. This isn't a knock against the book as much as myself. I didn't realize when I started, but this is actually a spin off of another series. So there were times I was very confused by the brush off references to characters and backstories. It doesn't necessarily take away from the story any, but the large cast was definitely difficult to keep straight at times since I didn't read any of the previous books. So you may want to consider reading the previous books in this series/world.
2. This may be seen as a spoiler so I'll keep it extremely vague. I didn't love that all 3 "twists" at the end all ended up being the exact same twist...

This series will definitely not be for anyone. This is a high drama, messy love triangle of a story. But I never wanted this book or series to end. I love these characters and definitely plan to read more from Lexi Ryan.

I started reading this but it wasn't for me sorry. I cound not get in to the story.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a voluntary and honest review.

I wanted to like this book so much more than I did.

The premise of this book is what made me want to read it in the first place. Waking up from a coma in which you are now engaged to the man you've been crushing on for years...? Only problem is that you have Amnesia and you remember nothing from the last 11 months. This is a mystery that needs to be solved... ASAP!

I just wasn't into the romance. I am not a huge fan of love triangles to begin with, so let me start there. If you are, then this book may definitely be for you. However, it is a huge part of the story line so be forewarned if picking it up. Max and Nate couldn't be more different male leads if they tried. Both will appeal to different readers.

There are so many holes and gaps. It is part of a trilogy so the story leaves off on a massive cliffhanger and you have even less answers than you thought you did when you started the book.

Overall, I can't say that I am terribly impressed with the story or the direction it took toward the cliffhanger. While I am definitely curious how it turns out, I am not curious enough to continue reading the series.

This is definitely a one sitting book. I finished this book in less than a day! There was angst, drama, romance and some steamyness. This was a really fun and quick read. The only complaint I had was it ending on a cliffhanger. Should've seen that coming though.

I absolutely LOVED Hanna's story, it captivated me until the very last page, trying to piece together her past and which man was right for her.
