Decently well written. Not sure I totally believe that there's a war of such proportions going on for the souls of man kind, but I can understand how this might be useful to an extremely devout believer.

Good book on strategic prayer. While there are other books that delve deeper into the various topics presented here, it is a good overall book on spiritual warfare. There is good stuff on the history of the devil and his forces tempting and maneuvering throughout Biblical history to deceive God's people. The life of Jesus is presented and His ministry in reference to casting out demons or confronting demonic forces and temptations. Being that these forces are still at work in the world, we can also expect confrontations with demonic influence and temptation. The author gives good Biblical strategies for overcoming and protecting ourselves from these influences.

There is good advice as well on how to determine what is the enemy trying to influence us, as opposed to just our sinful nature or the flesh being involved. Additionally, there is a section on strategic prayer for others and even for your city, with tips on how to do so safely and on target. Recommended.

I'm so glad i had the opportunity to read this book. As those of us who are Christians have come to realise, the battle is real.

What is well written and explained here is that the battle is more often than not, within ourselves. The choices we make, the thoughts we think, the way we speak about others and about ourselves. Satan is always on the lookout for prey. Sometimes he doesn't have to look far because we are just handing ourselves to him on a platter.

I will certainly be more aware of how I behave and the first thing is to know the Bible.

Thank you to Steve Harper for writing such an honest and easy to read book. My heart sinks when I see a book that's 800 pages long and my brain is fogging - this is very easy to understand and I highly recommend it to all Christians.

I try to review every book of fiction I read - this isn't fiction at all but I will keep it close to me, with my Bible.

The author begins the book by stating why there are spiritual battles, and he describes the conflicts between satan and Adam, Daniel and Job. He also describes the times in the New Testament when Jesus was tempted by satan in the wilderness, Jesus delivered many people from demons, one of His disciples, Judas, sold himself to satan, and at the end of the age there will be many battles with satan.
Since as believers, we are told by Jesus to cast out devils, to put on spiritual armor, and to resist the devil, it is necessary to understand how to cast out demons, use our armor, and resist the devil, we need to understand how to do these things.
You will be shown who satan and his demons are, how to use spiritual weapons, and why the blood of Jesus and His word is so powerful when fighting spiritual battles.
