This is the second book on the series and it's just as good as the first. After getting to know Haley in the first book I was looking forward to her book. I was hooked right from the beginning. Trevor and Haley have a lot of chemistry. There is one problem she believes in love and for ever and he doesn't. That is just a recipe for disaster, but or is it? I really enjoyed the humor in this book. I love the sense of humor the characters have. I also loved catching up with the characters o f the previous book ans see how they're enjoying their HEA. That's one of the reasons I love a series. Trevor sometimes that man makes me want to smack some sense into him, but of course his past has made a big impact on his views of love, but he never thought about what happens when he finds the right woman to love. The epilogue was absolutely perfect and one these two characters deserved.

I am huge fan of all things Adriana Locke. Also, I am a sucker for a small town romance, and the first book in this series was absolutely amazing. So picking this one up was a no-brainer. I am so so glad I did! Adriana delivers an amazingly sweet, fun read full of characters you can't help but love.
Haley is my kind of girl. She is sweet, caring, and quick with the sassy wit that will have you laughing out loud. I could so see myself as her in this story.
Treavor is all the SWOON! I couldn't help but fall for his sweet charm. While at times he frustrated me to no end, I still fell fast and hard for him.
Tangle is my favorite in this series so far. I have a feeling this is one of those series that starts out strong and only gets better as it goes. I can't wait to see what Adriana brings us next!

A book about a girl who falls too hard falling for a man who is set on his ways of not committing but who changes after realizing what love is? This book was right up my alley and I loved it. Haley and Trevor were everything I needed to read right now and I can’t express how much this helped me look at things in a different manner. I haven’t gotten around to reading the first book in the Dogwood series so I jumped into the second without having much backstory on some of the already developed characters but the author wrote this in such a way that I didn’t feel like I was missing out. Although you all should go read both these books, if you want to dive into Tangle first, then feel free to do so!

I love being back in Dogwood Lane. In the first book in the series we meet Haley, and since then I have been curious about her story and what would become of her.
As always Ms. Locke captures you from the very first page and you can't put your kindle/book down. You become engrossed in these characters she creates and you feel everything they feel and experience.
Her words make you laugh, cry, and fall in love.
Haley and Trevor's story is no exception and will have you feeling all the feels. Absolutely a must read!! Love love love!!!

Tangled got me from the start. I’d already had a soft spot from Haley when I met her in Neely and Dane’s story (Tumble). It was apparently she was a softy and in search of that epic, romantic love. What a TREMENDOUS treat to watch her get it.

I connected with both Haley and Trevor. Deep, deep down is my romantic side that connected with Haley and all her cheerfulness and rainbows. On the outside I am all Trevor, with his cynicism and realism. I ached first them both as they faced their fears when it comes to love. But as it always is, Haley was the braver character. Her hopes in what love is and what she and Trevor could have drove her to proceed even with the chance at being heartbroken.

I was wiping tears from my eyes toward the end as I hurt in both their behalf’s and I was cheering as that happily-ever-after they both deserved came to fruition.

So far, Tangle was my favorite of the Dogwood Lane series. I cannot wait to see who’s next and how their story unfolds. I have a feeling I know who that will be and I’m super stocked about it.

This return to Dogwood Lane is just what I needed to kick off my summer. From the first interaction between Haley and Trevor I knew I was in for a fun and quasi-emotional ride. And Adriana Locke did not let me down one bit.

I adored Haley. She knew what she wanted, for the most part, she just tried to find it in the wrong places. Which lead to her experiencing more than her fair share of heartache. She was taking a break from relationships and doing well with it, until Trevor Kelly walked into the cafe. Whew Trevor! Swoon city with a dimple on the side. Even when he wasn't trying to be, he was so likable. And even when he was being a jerk he was still so dang nice. Ugh!

His wishy-washiness put Haley at a disadvantage because she knew he was the type of guy she could see herself with. She even told him not to string her along because she didn't want her history to repeat itself with him. He agreed but the more Haley pulled back the more Trevor pushed. He couldn't explain why, he just knew he wanted to be near her. And then the unthinkable happened...they both developed feelings. Neither one knew what to do with them and with time working against them they were at an even bigger loss.

Tangle delivered a perfect small-town romance. There was friendship and laughter and family and a lazy dog and donuts. The list of things to love about this book is endless. The Dane and Penn sightings added even more comedy to the pages. But the absolute best thing for me was the romance between Trevor and Haley. It was fun and flirty and proves that when it comes to love, you get to make your own rules.

Tangle is a sweet and sassy treat! I love the small town feels and the exceptional characters! This is a series no romance readers wants to miss!

This is the small town romance of my heart!! I loved this book!! Loved everything about it. It was so easy to lose myself in the fun characters, the witty banter, and the passion. I'm still buzzing by the chemistry between Haley and Trevor. I couldn't get enough.

I'm the kind of girl who falls for the hero easier and faster than the heroine. (I know. I'm smh at myself too.) Not in this case. My girl crush on Haley was almost instantaneous. With all her sass, her kindness, and her realness, I wish she was my bff. She is my new favorite Adriana Locke heroine.

Of the two books in the Dogwood Lane series so far, Tangle is my favorite!! If you want a cute and sexy small town romance that will not want to put down than I highly recommend picking this one up.

I'd give this book 6 stars, just for the witty banter! The chemistry between Trevor and Haley is undeniable, but they're definitely from two different worlds. I loved every minute of this story, and will never look at a napkin the same way again!

Another beautifully written story by Adriana. I found myself re-reading passages because every word was so important and evoked so much emotion. Loved the struggle that these characters went through to find their happy ending. Their meet cute in the beginning was adorable and funny and the ending was romantic. I can't recommend this book and Tumble enough. Cannot wait for Penn's story.

WOW! Just Wow! I have read almost every one of Adriana Locke’s books and Tangle just blew me away. The writing is brilliant, characters are authentic and the story line is captivating. Adriana knows how to write small town romance and with this book she proved herself to excellent in crafting a story that builds with anticipation only to dent your heart with emotions, before giving you an HEA that fills your heart with feels and your mind with happiness.

I loved this book! To me Adriana knocked it out of the park again. Tangle is about Haley, Danes cousin from book 1, and Trevor. Haley is an all in kinda girl, wants the white picket fence and 2.5 kids and Prince Charming to go along with it, but she’s given her heart to loser and has gotten stomped on so now she is on a man/dating hiatus. Trevor is in town to check on things at the construction site where his dad is moving to. Trevor also does not believe in love. When sparks and banter fly with these two at first meeting, Haley and Trevor try to keep their distance but they just can’t. Can Haley keep her heart to herself? Can Trevor believe in forever love? Read on and find out!

Tangle is the second book in the Dogwood Lane series by the ever so talented, Adriana Locke. It can be read as standalone but I do recommend reading Tumble since it was amazing. And if you did, then you have met Haley, Dane’s cousin, nanny and romantic.

Haley loves love and that is exactly why she agreed to her cousin’s ridiculous bet. No dating for six months. She has been going strong for close to two months. That was until he walked in and stole her donut. Trevor Kelly aka Thief. Trevor didn’t believe in love. He didn’t want anything to do with it. He didn’t understand how someone would want to be with just one person for the rest of their life. They knew how the other felt after just a few run-ins. They knew they should stay away from each other but what is the fun in that, right?

Totally! And it is so much fun! Haley and Trevor make a deal. A deal guaranteed to work if they follow all the rules. Trevor is only in town for one week working on his father’s new home in Dogwood Lane. And in that week he only has a few plans. To finish up with the home. To now assist his new friend in writing a resume. And lastly, to not make Haley Raynor fall in love with him. It should be easy enough. It’s only one week and he doesn’t want her to fall. He doesn’t want her heart and he definitely doesn’t want to break it. So he will obey her rules. That is until they cross the line...

Omfg! I loved this book! Hard. It might even be my favorite Adriana book and that says a lot. I have read all of them. I loved their banter. It was flirty, dirty, sweet, and so much fucking fun. I fell for Trevor on first sight. He got her. There was an instant attraction between them and it was the best. They didn’t know each other but they seemed like they did. They just clicked. Both smart asses who were trying to figure out what was next up in their lives.

Overall...it’s my favorite Adriana book. It’s hilarious, sexy, and fun. It had it all. I fell hard for the characters. The story. Their personal journeys. The torture they felt and the emotions. I can not wait for Penn’s book!

P.S. I thought it was awesome to see my name and also my brother’s in the book. That was a first to have us both. Lol

Quotes:

“Are you finished?” he asks.
I zip a line from his boots to his face. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t want to walk out of here until you’ve finished appreciating me.” He grins. “If you’re done, I do need to go.”

“It must suck to be so jaded about love.”
“Or maybe it sucks to be so naive about it?”

“I knocked,” he says immediately.
“Good boy, Penn,” Neely says, patting him on the head. “Do you want a cookie?”
“Yes, please.”

I recently read the first book of the Dogwood Lane series and I was hooked. Adriana Locke has a way of drawing the reader into her quaint little town and making you never want to leave. Tangle keeps that small town mystique going. Haley was introduced as the nanny/cousin in Tumble. She is a hopeless romantic, in love with the idea of being in love. Each man she dates she swears she is in love with. After her last heartbreak she makes a bet with her cousin: six months of not dating and just working to live her best life. Fate however had other plans.
Enter: Trevor, a man who despises the idea of love because of an experience when he was younger. When the two meet there is instant chemistry, but she's on hiatus and he knows she's not one-night stand material. For the brief time he is in town overseeing the finishing touches on his father's new wife's home, he is intrigued by Haley and runs into her "by chance" every chance he gets.
What follows is an engaging battle of wills to not fall in love when the pull is so strong they can both feel it. How do a hopeless romantic and a man cynical of love ever make a relationship work?
Ms. Locke forges her characters to be realistic and flawed. Trevor is far from perfect, a fact which he knows and continues to point out. But when he brings his A-game he is amazing. The story has lots of great things going for it: humor, family, friends, loyalty, great characters and banter, and above all else love and passion. I'm heading to read Ms. Locke's backlist because I'm not sure how else to pass the time until the next book in the Dogwood Lane series comes out.

Tangle by Adriana Locke is book Two in the Dogwood Lane Series. This is the story of Trevor Kelly and Haley Raynor. I have read the previous book, but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Haley is a romantic loving the ideal of love where Trevor is the quick in quick out type of guy. But he is in town for a week and goes forward to have encounters with Haley. Can these two opposite end up with a happy ending?
I was a big fan of the last book but this one took me to another level of enjoyment. I hope to read more from this series and this author.

I have to say this was only an ok read for me. I actually loved book 1 Tumble more (standalones). Tangle didn't have that emotional punch that I got from Tumble.

I didn't think it was possible to head back to Dogwood Lane and love it more, but OH MY GOD I love it more! It's like this town is a crazy ice cream sundae and all these fantastic characters blend together to create a perfect dessert.

And Trevor Kelly is the cherry on top of this sundae. I fell for him from the start. It's impossible not to. He's charismatic, charming, intriguing, and insanely sexy. And he's all of these things without even trying to be. Sure, he's not perfect and you'll want to shake him a time or two. But it's nothing he can't redeem himself from.

Haley is kind of a mess but kind of getting her life together. She loves to say she's "living her best life" and her positivity is inspiring. That doesn't mean that's she's chipper and optimistic all the time. Yes, she's funny and sweet and has so much love to give, but she can be bratty, stubborn, and sassy too. She just has a realness to her that is relatable. She could be you or one of your best friends.

I love small town romances and this series is fantastic. It checks all the boxes and hits you in all the feels. It'll make you laugh and fall in love with not only Trevor and Haley, but the whole gang too. I hope this isn't the last we hear from the residents of Dogwood Lane.

Loved, loved, loved!! Laugh out loud funny and a completely entertaining read. This author is quickly becoming one of my go to authors. Her writing gives us well developed characters and stories that tug at your heart while tickling your funny bone. Haley with her quick wit and sass had me in stitches while Trevor had me swooning. Their chemistry is off the charts and you can't help but cheer for them. Honestly there isn't a thing I didn't enjoy about this book. Put this on the must read list, I highly recommend it.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** I totally LOVED this book! Haley learns to love herself and that she is worth so much better then what she has had in the past! Trevor is anti love! His mother cheated on his dad and now his dad is married to a younger woman who he thinks is only after his money. They help each other out and even though Hayley tries her best to not fall in love with Trevor, like every other man she's been with, but she just can't stop herself. Does Trevor get his head out of his ass before it's too late?

Tangle is the second book in the Dogwood Lane series by the fun, fabulous and talented Adriana Locke. I'm a huge fan of Adriana's and I have read all her words. In my opinion, her writing it just getting better and better and I'm so glad I'm along for the ride! We have met Haley and we love her. She loves love, flowers and all things romantic. Now we get to meet Trevor. Dear Lord is the man sexy, hot and surprisingly funny. He's only in town for one week working on his father's house. He knows he should stay away from Haley but he just can't bring himself to stop wanting her. They keep running into each other and he finally thinks of the perfect compromise. He wants to help her with her resume and finding a job and he wants her company at all his dinners. Easy, right? Haley knows it's a bad idea. Trevor is just the kind of guy she usually falls for and it never ends well. She knows herself. She gets clingy and weird and can't stop texting and chasing after men. She is trying to be different. She doesn’t want to be that woman anymore. So they sign a contract and it's all going to be fine. Until he gets a little too close and she wants him even closer. He doesn't believe in love or happily ever afters. But she can change his mind, right. Trevor knows he likes her. A lot. But he doesn't do love or long term relationships. Haley deserves more. After they cross the line she wants more and he doesn’t. What's going to happen when it's time for him to leave town? I loved this story. It's one of my favorite books of Adriana's! Haley knows more about herself than she ever has. She's learned, grown and isn't going to let anything ruin it. She cares for people and loves love. That's just who she is. Trevor isn't sure he knows what love is. Until he meets Haley. Now he's really confused. I loved watching them fall for each other and learn abut themselves. Overall, it's fun, flirty, romantic, sexy and emotional!
