4.5 Stars! Another hit from this fantastic author!

Adriana Locke has it down for the small town romance feels. Tangle had me right from the get go. It gave me exactly what I hoped it would. I loved Tumble, but Tangle took a step up. You want a light hearted sweet and funny read this is right up your alley!

It’s a vicious cycle I’ve been in my entire life—meeting a guy, going on a few dates, and then attaching myself to him like my life depends on it.
Haley was a character I loved in Tumble and was excited that this was going to be her book. She’s sweet, loyal, funny and she loves to be in love. But she seems to always pick the guys who are not going to be her forever match. She’s a full on romantic and right now she’s on hiatus. Why? Because she needs to work on herself and find that she doesn’t need a guy in her life to feel valued. She also might be a dating addict...lol. However, after one fateful coffee house meeting with a “thief” whose voice sent chills down her body, she might second guess her decision.

Trevor oh he had me right with his first meeting with Haley. He is the guy who might just be her match. He’s funny, gorgeous, smart and charming. But he also doesn’t do relationships. He’s upfront and honest about it, but once he meets Haley he sees she’s different. She’s making him feel different. Could she be is game changer?
Is it just testosterone? Is it wanting what I can’t and shouldn’t have? Or is this itch, this confusion like I’ve never felt—this war between wanting to do what I want but also what’s right—because it’s her?

These two had instant chemistry. Their banter was hilarious at times, full on sweet and sexy. I loved that this wasn’t a jump into bed read. They slowly built on a friendship and evolved into more. But will it last?

What can I say about the secondary characters but I love them and I hope that we see Penn and Claire get their HEA.

I want to live in a town like Dogwood Lane. It’s full of charm, family and fun times. I need to be a country girl! Told from dual POV’s, Tangle can be read as a stand-alone, but has interconnecting characters. I really enjoyed this and Adriana brings her humor to this. Highly recommend this and book one Tumble too.

Haley is a small town girl known for falling in love effortlessly and selflessly loving those around her. Her routine trip to the town cafe for her caramel-topped dougnut leads to a spark flying fight with Trevor Kelly, the out of towner who doesn't believe in love. After countless number of random run ins throughout town Trevor and Haley decide to make those run ins not so accidental. The interactions between these two are nothing short of sweet, sexy and funny making it the perfect romantic comedy to get swept up in. As a sucker for small town romances and drool-worthy heroes I couldn't put this story down. Haley was a loveable, strong heroine with equally as endearing friends.
I have yet to read a book by Adriana Locke I haven't loved and can not wait for the next books in this series. Fingers crossed Penn and Grace get their happy ending.

I absolutely loved Tangle. Trevor and Haley had me smiling from the start. I loved their kind of banter! You could feel the yearning and desire grow without the heaviness of all out angst. And Trevor, for however he messed up and the mistakes he made is also a very likeable guy. His attraction undeniable for so many reasons. I also always appreciate when the h is given her own personality and story along with the romance of the couple getting together. Watching Haley struggle and grow and break yet be strong and kind and awesome was fantastic. She is someone I want to be friends with. This is one of my favorites by Adriana Locke. She nailed it! I recommend and will be rereading it again. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Being back in Dogwood Lane was such a refreshing experience.

Trevor is taking time away to oversee the construction of his dad’s new house. Little does he know, there is more to Dogwood than meets the eye.

Hayley is trying to figure out what she wants out of life. She has always put others first and now it is time to put herself first.

These two together made for some hilarious moments. They way they bicker and the witty comments had me falling in love with them fast. No matter how much they deny it, sparks are flying from the first meeting.

Trevor was a closed off and set in his ways, but there is an underlying reason for all his actions. It actually make my heart break for the younger Trevor.

Hayley was an honest, trustworthy, genuinely good girl, and her love for food made her that much more relatable.

As always, it’s so much fun to see old characters and get glimpses of their future. This sweet town romance was such a great escape and that ending was one for the books. It is going to be hard for any book boyfriend to top that grand gesture.

It's one of the best contemporary romance of 2019. It's a book that you can't put down easily. It has amazing realistic characters with an addicting plot. The story is told by a Dual Pov and the progression of it has a steady pace. The detailing is great and makes you think that you are there living everything first hand. Their smart lines and their funny banters were my favorite parts. I was impressed by Haley's character she was so feisty and independent but so vulnerable at the same time. I loved reading it and I highly recommend it. A MUST read for the summer. I will rate it with 5 bright stars!!!

I fell completely in love with this book. The plot was well planned and the writing was perfection. The characters are easy to relate to and honestly so different from how I thought they were as being secondary characters from the last book. I enjoyed the pace of this beautiful love story and I can't wait for the next book. The humor in this book really brought the story to another level. It has a real life feel but now I need a carmel filled and topped donut. This author has such a talent for small town romances this is one book you won't want to miss.

Adriana Locke keeps you laughing at antics of the characters. Hailey and Trevor fight their chemistry hard but can’t stay away from each other. They are no match for Dogwood Lane and everyone there. They go through many ups and downs and it’s almost impossible to put this book down until you see how/if Trevor proves himself changed in his feelings on love.

Every time I read a book by Adriana Locke I am sure I won't love it more than the last one...and every time I do!! I enjoyed Haley's character in Tumble and loved seeing her come into her own in this book. Trevor certainly has his own issues to overcome and following the two of them as they navigate thier relationship was nothing short of entertaining. The residents of Dogwood Lane each have such endearing qualities that you cant help but fall in love with each and every one. I am looking forward to many more stories from this crew!

Every story from this author just gets even better than the last!! Tangle completely hooked me from the beginning and I can't say enough wonderful things about it!! I loved the first book in this series, but there was just something about Trevor Kelly and his swoony self that took this book to a whole different level. Such charm and charisma oozed off of him, and it's no surprise that Haley fell for him. He's hands down my favorite Locke hero (sorry Graham.....you're still my favorite Landry), and Tangle has easily jumped to the #1 spot on my favorites list from this author.

Another great book by the always wonderful Adriana Locke. She is the best at writing small town stories, and this is no exception. I also think I found my new number one book boyfriend.

Loved, loved, LOVED the off the charts chemistry and fantastic banter that began the moment our couple meets in this book!!! I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Adriana Locke, but this is by far the best I’ve read from her. The story follows Haley, a woman who wholeheartedly believes in love, and knows that she’s fallen into it too quickly in the past. She’s trying to work on herself and be single for a while, so that the next guy she falls for will be the right one. When she meets Trevor, they have instant chemistry and attraction sizzles between them. But Trevor is a commitment-phobe (though an adorable one), who hates when women don’t heed his warnings and catch feelings for him. They know that romance between them could never work, but that doesn’t stop the connection they feel, and as they have a series of run-ins, it becomes more and more difficult to resist the attraction.

Trevor is such a great guy, so relatable, and that is a true testament to Adriana Locke’s skill as a writer, because a guy who goes around inadvertently breaking women’s hearts should not be a likeable character. His treatment of Haley is great to read, because it becomes clear pretty quickly how women keep falling for him, but also that his feelings for Haley are unlike his past experiences. It’s a slow burn with plenty of heat along the way, and the tension between the two is palpable. There’s never a more tense situation than two people who are feeling the same thing, want each other... but know that they can’t go there. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved reading this fantastic book that shows the complexities of finding love. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review**

I love Adriana Locke's books and I was really looking forward to the second installment of her Dogwood Lane series.

Hayley Raynor has been back in Dogwood Lane for several years after coming back to care for her cousin Dane's daughter. She loves her job at the library, but due to funding cuts, it's possible that she's going to lose her job and she's at loose ends as to what she'll do next. Hayley is also one of those romantics that believes in love and finding that one true love, however she's not sure she'll ever find it due to the fact she's had zero luck lately in that department.

Trevor Kelly works for his family business and while he is normally the one that is always in the office due to his role in finance, he's been sent to Dogwood Lane to oversee the finishing touches on his father and stepmother's new home they are building there. Trevor is the opposite of Hayley, where he doesn't believe in love due to the fact he's seen it fall apart more than be a wonderful thing.

When Hayley encounters Trevor at the Dogwood Cafe, where she's visiting with her good friend Claire that works there, the sparks between them are obvious and instantaneous. With their vastly different views on love, coupled with the fact that he he is in town short term and lives four hours away, it doesn't seem a relationship would be in the cards for them.

You know what they say about best laid plans though. Hayley and Trevor embark upon a romantic journey that leads them where neither one of them ever expected. This is a duo that you are rooting for from the start and you just hope they are able to find a way to make it all work out.

This is a fantastic addition to this wonderful series. I would recommend that you read Tumble, the first book in the series prior to picking up this one, so you have a bit more familiarity with some of the characters. I so enjoyed this book and I look forward to our next journey back to Dogwood Lane!

Hayley is sweet, beautiful, and loving. Unfortunately, her taste in men leaves something to be desired. Trevor is handsome, charismatic, and scared to death of relationships. Sparks fly and witty conversation ensues when they meet for the first time. Can a sweet woman who wants a long-term relationship and a commitment shy man hope to have a future? This incredibly sweet, funny, and at times heartbreaking story true love is a must read!

This is the second book in the series and I really feel that you need to read it from the beginning because you know who all the characters are and some of the things that happen are because of something that happened since the first book, like the bet that Hayley had with Dane and why she was in the no dating hiatus. So we met Hayley in the first book and I liked her in the first book and I still liked her in this book. We meet Trevor and we like him and he sounds hot and for a moment and actually in my instance anyhow there were a couple of times that I wasn't crazy about him, but again not all instances because I did like him. These two had chemistry but Hayley was fighting it because one she was in that bet and two she didn't want to fall in love as she has a bad habit of doing and she needed time to herself, of course that does not last and Trevor did go after her knowing, knowing that he shouldn't and then he has a brain fart and luckily for all he snapped out of it fairly quickly..Did enjoy reading of the secondary characters and will patiently wait for the next story..

Book 2 in the Dogwood Lane Series.

Hayley Raynor has been living in Dogwood Lane for the past 9 years. She came back to look after her cousin Dane's daughter and has been floating between jobs. She loves working at the community library but that may not be an option soon as funding has been cut and she is sure her job will be too.

She also loves her friend Claire who works at the Dogwood Café and especially the specialty doughnuts Claire keeps under the glass dome. Needing a doughnut and coffee hit, Haley waltzes into Dogwood Café fully expecting her doughnut to be ready and waiting but unfortunately the very last one has been purchased by Trevor Kelly who shall henceforth be named "Thief" and who had the embarrassing fortune to witness Hayley's reach over the counter for her doughnut, butt in the air and giving a perfect eyeful of her pink panties.

To say the attraction between these two is blindingly obvious is an understatement but Trevor doesn't believe in love and Hayley has been burnt one too many times. Add the fact that Trevor lives four hours away, a relationship isn't on the cards.

But the heart wants what the heart wants and Hayley and Trevor go on a journey that will reel you in and cheer them on in their pursuit of each other,

Absolutely loved this book, I recommend you read Tumble first as the characters appear in Tangle.

Thanks to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of this book.

I found Tangle to be an entertaining story. I like small town read, where everyone knows you. I thought Hailey was such a sweet person, but don't cross her cause she's quite the spitfire. Trevor is so swoon worthy, and he met his match with Hailey. Their banter made me laugh. It was so good getting a glimpse of past characters. Looking forward to the next Dogwood Lane book.

Oh my stars I absolutely loved this book. Trevor and Haley have such great chemistry and witty banter that I found myself smiling through most of the book. I love Haley’s life advice which is sprinkled through the book which I will sum up as “you have to love and respect yourself before you can expect someone else to”. The ending made me cry happy tears which doesn’t happen very often. Adriana Locke is a master story teller who gives us characters we love and the happily ever afters we crave.

This was a super cute, fun, and quick read, perfect for summer! I have read several of Adriana Locke’s books and I’ve yet to come across one I didn’t like. Her writing is so intentional, funny, and heartfelt. I loved both of these characters from the start. I mean, the first scene included a spat about a donut, so I was all in after that! Can’t wait to read the next in this series!
