You know what they say about best-laid plans.....and of course this one is no different - its especially entertaining when you have a hardcore cynic who does not believe in love and a small town girl who wants nothing more than to be loved!!!

I absolutely adore the town of Dogwood Lane and all its resident, and I look forward to visiting it many more times over the course of the next few books.

I loved Haley when we first met her in Tumble. She is this sassy little dynamite package who has a heart of gold. A heart that has been broken more times than she cares to admit. Which is why she is currently on a 6 month no dating ban.

Trevor is a new character to the series. He is in Dogwood Lane to oversee a few last details to his dad's house that is being built by Dane and the crew. When he meets the gorgeous Haley and they banter over the last donut in the coffee shop, he knows he wants her more than anything. However, he has a bit of a reputation as he has no problem getting girls to fall for his charm, its just that he has no intention of taking it anywhere as he does not believe in love at all.

So when the 2 decide to spend some time with each other, there is no other option but to draw up a "contract" to keep things simple between them.

I loved the book from start to finish and now cannot wait for the 3rd installment. Especially if it's going to be Penn's book......whoo hoo

Another amazing small town romance packed with wit, humor and love! This little town has nestled inside my heart and I never want to leave!

Trevor didn’t expect love and wanted nothing to do with long term but one look at Haley and the world makes no sense! Unexpected run ins, annoying ex’s and off the chart chemistry have these two doing things they never planned on but it’s up to Trevor to decide I’d love is worth the fall!?

Tangle by Adriana Locke
“Unexpected love, 5 stars”

Haley is on a man break. She always picks the wrong guys and she’s over it. She wants the real thing or nothing at all. Then Trevor comes along. He ruins her plans. They start out as friends but things slowly turn into more. Haley had no intentions of giving her heart to Trevor but some things cannot be helped.
Trevor doesn’t believe in love. He has never seen it last and he has no intentions of settling down. They Haley comes into his life and turns everything upside down. She makes him question everything he thought he knew. Will he change his tune or will he crush another woman’s heart?
I loved Trevor and Haley. I loved the flirty friendship they had with lines clearly drawn in the sand. Then they said screw it. Both of them knew the score and took the risk. I loved how Trevor actually listened to Haley about what she liked and what she wanted. I loved how she wouldn’t take his crud and stood up for herself. Then you add in the rest of the Dogwood Lane crew and I was sold. Locke hit the ball out of the park with these two.

Per AL's usual, Tangle was fantastic. I loved the dialogue, the characters, the setting, everything. I can't recommend this author enough, and this book was no exception to that rule!

I’ve read all books of Adriana and Tangle is on a different league to the others! She’s like a dust that a fairy sprinkle all over you and you feel light, warm, light headed and you can’t help but fall in love with this book.

I can only describe Trevor is like a sugar! He is soft, fluffy and oozing with charisma whilst Hayley she’s like the cinnamon(spice) to his sugar! They click and you can feel the chemistry but both are blind on what’s going on till both of them realised...Trevor resist and step away on what they have. Hayley is such a strong character and it helped her be a stronger woman she is and she’s loving the new her.

But when Trevor realised his destiny is with her...is it too late for him...

‘My destiny is in your hands...Hayley...’. -Trevor

Adriana makes my heart flutter with this witty romance.

Haley moved to Dogwood Lane to help her cousin raise his child. What's she's learned is that her heart is so big she loves everyone. She even loves the terrible men she has dated in the past. She just want to find the right man love. After a bet with her cousin Dane she is on a dating hiatus. Until the most gorgeous stranger walks in the cafe. Need flirty, fun, and his ego knows no bounds.

Trevor has shown up in Dogwood Lane to oversee his father's and his wife's new home. He is also on the run from a clingy ex. He doesn't believe in LOVE. never. When he steps into the cafe for coffee he is struck by a woman who puts him in his place and is sticking to her convictions.

The rules have been laid out as they each help each other navigate through a new friendship. And there is a time limit set as Trevor must return to Nashville.

Can they stick to their guns in how they view relationships?

Swoon swoon swoooon!
This romance was a little on the sweeter side than I normally go for, but I didn’t mind one bit! I jumped into this one having not read the first in the series and that didn’t affect my enjoyment of this at all - definitely can be read as a standalone. I do want to go back and read Tumble now, not to mention the upcoming third book (so ready to watch Penn fall in love)!

Haley and Trevor were just true perfection. They’re both full of intelligence and wit; their banter made me smile the whole way through. Haley is strong and vulnerable at the same time - she’s also relatable and just fun. Trevor oozes sex appeal but isn’t an alpha-hole - he’s sweet and considerate, too.

The ending had me all heart-eyed and giddy - this is my ideal real life HEA 😍

This book was amazing!!

I want to be Haley!! or at least be BFF's with her. She is one of the warmest, kindest, friendliest and sassiest person I have ever seen. The banter that she and Trevor have on a daily basis was off the charts both in hotness but also wit and charm. I wish I was half as funny as her. She is a woman who is owning what she sees as issues with herself and dating and Trevor isn't playing by the rules. I love that she is trying to decide what she wants to do with her life and what makes her truly happy!

Trevor is the perfect book boyfriend. Not so much on the not believing in love thing in the beginning but everywhere else. I loved how to just happened to bump into Haley everywhere. I especially liked the whole first doughnut meeting.

I also really liked the supporting cast in this book. I LOVED Penn and Jake. Both of these characters brought a fun perspective to the main couple. I really hope there will be more in this series.

I LOVED this book so much. Hayley and Trevor have this amazing connection right from the beginning even if she is on a dating hiatus. If you like spirited heroines who give as good as they get you will love this couple.

This is book 2 in the series and it easily stands alone. I actually thought the author wold put H and Perry together but she went in the other direction and it really works. Trevor is very wealthy and is in Dogwood to work with Dane on a house for his dad and stepmom Haley is Dane''s cousin who ended up his nanny but now that he has a girlfriiend he no longer needs Haley so she is sorta freed job wise and she has to decide what she wants to do professionally.

She meets Trevor over a donut and then they realise they have Dane in common. Eventually Trevor convinces her to eat dinner with him while he helps her write a resume. Thats when the fun with these two start. Haley likes rules and well T loves to break them and so starts a fun and beautiful story.

Tangle is the book that you'll tell your friends about. Trust me. I'm telling you about it, arent' I?
I don't even have words to express how much I love this book.
Trevor Kelly is everything. EVERYTHING.
I enjoyed every single moment of Haley and Trevor’s journey and their chemistry was to die for. In true Adriana Locke fashion, she’s given us yet another couple to completely fall in love with!
Haley & Trevor, along with the rest of the Dogwood Lane crew, give me life!! This is THE book that you don't want to miss.
Adriana, you've taken this to an entirely new level. I have never loved a book as much as I love Tangle! I cannot wait for everyone to get this book into their hands<3

If I thought I fell in love with Dogwood Lane in Tumble, I didn’t even know what love was. I mean, this small town filled with these larger than life personalities is working hard on owning my heart. And y’all? I’m not even trying to fight it.

This felt so good! From the perfectly executed sparky banter, to the slowly building scintillating chemistry that burned between Trevor and Haley – every bit of this story was a delight! I don’t even know who I loved more! Honestly, in a rare feat – I think Adriana Locke gave me a heroine that I loved more than I loved the hero. Haley might be one of my favorite heroines...ever. Her dry wit and snappy comebacks combined with her big strong heart and unfailing honesty. Sometimes I felt like I was Haley (or maybe, more to the point, that Haley was all of us), but at every turn I felt like I for sure wanted Haley to be my best friend forever because she was just that awesome.

On top of the massive girl crush I have on Haley, Trevor also heaped on the swoons and set my heart aflutter. He was the perfect match for Haley – their humor played off each other in this sort of fun, flirty way that I find completely irresistible, and there was an undeniable sweetness to the bond they built. Were there moments where I wanted to shake some sense into him? Yes, 100%. But in the end, he straight up won my heart and I could not have loved him any more.

It’s pretty clear I have nothing but love for this book, right? And Trevor and Haley’s romance is just the tip of the iceberg. I loved getting Trevor’s family dynamic and how rewarding that story arc wound up feeling. I loved getting some time with Dane and Neely. Honestly, the whole secondary character game is strong here – which basically just means I am left wanting so much more from these wonderfully dynamic characters and this charming little town. If you're looking for something flirty, fun, and full of heart? Tangle is for you! Definitely recommend!

Who new a doughnut can be the catalyst for romance - LOL. Hayley has had her fill with crappy relationships and decides with the help from her family to not date for a few months. Taking the time for herself, she is literally left with her mouth hanging open when a sexy stranger tries to take the last doughnut she had her eye on. But will the chemistry with Trevor be the end of her dry spell? Or will their thoughts to having a "no Falling in Love" agreement, once again leave Hayley without a lasting romance? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that not only had me laughing out loud but wanting so badly for a HEA this is another fabulous read by Adriana Locke and I cannot wait for more!!

*4 Stars*

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

I had previously read the first book in this series, and I was excited to see that Adriana was releasing the next book because the people of the Dogwood Lane are awesome.

Wet met Hayley previously because she was Mia's Nanny, assisting Dane while he raised her. So this time, it's her chance at a happily ever after and for us to get to know her.

I really liked Hayley and enjoyed watching her trying to work out how she wants her life to go and to value herself without having a guy attached to her, and instantly falling love, as she's had a habit of in the past.

The moment we meet Trevor, we know he's going to be the one to push her with her new resolutions. He's a great character, a really sweetie, with his own issues he needs to deal with. The bond and chemistry between these two is great, and I really enjoyed watching them get to know one another and learn about themselves at the same time.

There are also some great secondary characters in this, in the form of our faves from Dogwood Lane and also some of Trevors family.

This was a really fun read, and I found myself trying not to laugh out loud in public when I was reading at certain times. Full of humour and chemistry, I would definitely recommend this one.

***Will add review to Amazon AU on release***

I love this author, and this book certainly did not disappoint. From the moment I read about Haley in Dane and Neely’s book, I have loved her. Haley grew so much through this whole story, I was torn between a proud mama and a thrilled best friend. The slow burn through most of the book is exactly what I love to read about. Great job!!

Theres just something about small town romance stories that tug at my heartstrings so badly! I mean who wouldn’t want to be friends with everyone in this book! You will definitely understand what I mean once you read it for yourself!
There was witty banter that makes you giggle, innuendos up the wazoo and the men that cause you to swoon! Seriously heartwarming but may also cause eye seepage in parts!
I loved everything!! This small town romance will give you all the feels! With steamy tension, beautiful friends and great advice I have to say this is one incredibly well written story!
Haley is such a force to be reckoned with! But with great friends that have her back, little does she realize meeting Trevor will go the way it does!
Trevor Kelly....oh goodness me! The whole premise of this book is entertaining and very family oriented!
A story with so much heart, yours may burst and its one that must be read or you are seriously missing out!
Put this on your absolute must read list!!

Trevor Kelly is not looking for love, especially since he doesn't believe in it. Taking a trip to Dogwood Lane to keep an eye on his dad's house that's under construction, all he wants is to be in and out of that tiny town in one week. Haley Raynor, diehard romantic, is having a rough day to say the least, all she needs right now is a doughnut, unfortunately for her that doughnut has already purchased. With their first meeting a little less than pleasant the two continue to bump into each other around town, especially since Haley's cousin Dane is working on the Kelly project. Each agreeing to help the other out, Trevor helping Haley with her resume, and Haley helping Trevor be more direct with what he wants from relationships. A no falling in love contract is scribbled on a napkin. How hard can it be?

I adored this book, even more than Tumble. Trevor is so charming and smooth, totally and completely irresistible, wiggling his way in. Haley not being afraid to set boundaries, fight back and get to the point when an issue arrives, are all qualities that I love. "Doughnuts make me smile, people don't", that line had me laughing, and honestly, I feel that in my soul, Hayley and I could 100% be friends based on that alone. Their banter was so cute and entertaining, and that almost kiss and their chemistry was amazing. I really love books set in small towns, this is a fantastic follow up to Tumble.

I loved tumble the first book but wow this book was even better!

I think for me this is now one of my favourite Adrianna books. I have a couple but this is up with my favourite swink and Crank!

Hayley is so funny and Trevor wow I love him! There relationship was so natural and funny. I loved how they all came around and I want more stories for Penn, Matt and Claire. I love for them all to get stories as I think without them it will make the series incomplete!

I loved that it didn’t take long for Trevor to figure things out and I loved that Hayley was strong and knew her worth! Both strong characters and sweet. They deserved each other and I loved the ending.

I thought the first book, Tumble, was a decent small town second chance novel, but I feel like Tangle is a GREAT small town love story. Although I honestly found Haley to be annoying at times (seriously stop throwing straight up temper tantrums over donuts, you are an adult) I still appreciated her feistiness and hopefulness for the future. I quite enjoyed Trevor even when I was wondering why he was attracted to an adult woman who was throwing a temper tantrum in public over a donut. He was honest and reliable, even as he was warning her away. It was sweet, sexy, and enjoyable. I can’t wait for Penn’s story!

I liked this book it was funny and sexy. I liked that one was a romantic while the other was not. These two were on opposite sides of love. I had so much fun watching them fall in love. What a great read, I really enjoy when I can laugh and swoon during a book.

Omg could this book be any better? I thought Tumble was amazing? Well it was but I’m so in love with Trevor and Haley.
How adorably sweet this book was. The flirty banter was too cute, the contract cracked me up. They had their hilarious moments for sure. these two had some serious sparks flying and it was such a slow beautiful burn. I loved everything about this book. I’m loving this series and these characters. So much heart. Loving this small town, I wish I could just go for a walk on Dogwood lane and meet up with Clair and Haley.
This book doesn’t lack anything, the writing, the storytelling, the characters, it’s all there and it couldn’t be any better. I’m just gushing over these books. I can’t wait for Penn’s book.
