4 Understanding Who You Are Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free
There was a time in my life when my family was involved with horses. We were friends with a thoroughbred owner and then we also became addicted to owning and showing quarter horses for a time. There is a special type of feeling which comes over you when you personally connect with them. I was fortunate to have had that experience in my life.

Jennifer Probst has created an amazing story which touches on all of those feelings and more. Her research is on par with the realities of the sport. She has taken all of the undercurrents of horse racing and paired it with characters who are true believers as well as veterans savvy in how things should be done. She also added the bonus of rescue animals as the hub of all this animal love. This is definitely a book for those who do appreciate being immersed in farms, horses and even a wacky chicken and goat.

Harper Bishop knows who she is...She learned that lesson a very long time ago during her school years. The pain and scars she had to handle and overcome have molded her ideas about almost everything. She learned from her mother's love of animals and her own experiences to be more comfortable with them than people. Animals loved you completely with no agenda...People not so much. Now as an adult she ran the rescue portion of the family's farm. Her older sister ran the B&B and her brother, back from Afganistan, handle the horse business with some training and sales.

Harper loved her siblings but never really felt as if she belonged...she knew they loved her and because she was more comfortable in the barn, they gave her the space she needed. Harper had acquired a strong reputation in the animal rescue community and when she stepped up and took on an impossible thoroughbred she knew she would have her hands full. No one else was willing to put in the time or have the ability to break through and get the horse to trust. He had been whipped, pushed too hard and with cruelty. Harper worked long and hard and eventually, Phoenix named after the legendary bird, started to allow her to ride and see the speed she had.

Harper knew there was a champion inside Phoenix and needed to figure out how to find a trainer who would groom him for the Triple Crown...Harper had a feeling something was coming...

Aidan O’Connor was at the end of his rope. He had hoped by coming to the States he would have a positive fresh start. He left Ireland with a heavy heart knowing he was in the right but being right didn't change the pain, hurt and feelings of betrayal. Being an award-winning Irish Derby trainer, he should have had more success in finding a horse to train. But Aidan also only wanted to train a horse he felt a bond with. Every time he had a special gut feeling about a horse, he knew amazing things would happen.

Now he is in upstate New York at a little B&B trying to regroup and figure out his life. As he wakes around the grounds of the farm the B&B is on, Aidan investigates all of the barns and checks out the horses. He finds another small barn and sees a beauty all alone in a stall. He walks up to the thoroughbred and a stare down begins. As Aidan takes in this horse and looks into his eyes, he sees the fire, the will, and the strength.

Aidan feels this moment and as he wants to investigate more, he is interrupted by Harper by her telling him to step away from Phoenix. Harper is pissed as no one should be around this horse. He is too volatile. Aidan listens to Harper but still stays by the horse. These two held their ground bantering back and forth about what intentions are and how Harper finally dismisses him.

Aidan is smitten with the horse and intrigued with Harper. He figures out a way to get Harper to take him for his scheduled ride. There is a spark there but both are not willing to acknowledge anything. Neither are looking for any complications. As they ride, Harper learns more about Aidan, his horse training and his ideas about Phoenix. Once he sees Phoenix go full out, it is confirmed...Harper definitely has a champion on her hands. Now a plan needs to be put together.

Part of the plan, though, cannot include these two enjoying the chemistry they both have. They acknowledge this is an issue but they will not let it get out of hand.

Right...

This is a stunning story about two people who have deep scars and pain. They have learned who they are and have learned to handle the loneliness. By being around Harper's family, Aidan experiences for the first time what a close loving family is. He also respects Harper so much as she is direct, clear in her visions and has no pretense. She is also sexy as hell and doesn't even know it. Harper had decided what her life was to be. She never thought she would have a man who would support her and accept her life consumed with animals.

The growth between them is serious and it takes each a while to see the writing on the wall...They are meant for each other.

As I said, this is a story of details: Details of what life is like on a rescue farm, what it like to train and go the distance in horse racings hardest journey, the Triple Crown, and how through it all two people can learn to open their hearts to the one who understands them the best.

This is part of the Stay series and it works extremely well.

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for a copy of this book in exchange for a review. I have loved Jennifer Probst books for years starting back to when I read The Marriage Bargain. This book was no exception. I loved it! This was the third book in the Stay series! The series follows the lives of three siblings with each book focusing on a different sibling. This book was about Hannah, who I have loved in the other books but you also got to check in with Ethan and Ophelia from the previous two books. Hannah is an animal lover who rescues all sorts of different animals! The animals are also the stars of the book including Captain Hoof (a rescued goat), Hei Hei (a crazy chicken, who I loved) and Phoenix (a rescued horse). The story goes on to show how Aiden a horse trainer and Hannah help Phoenix to become a racer! I loved the animals, Aiden and Hannah and read the book in less then 12 hours including sleep! One of my favorite romance books of late! I would recommend the book and the whole series if you haven't read them yet!

I really love this authors writing. But this series has not been my favorite. This is book 3 in the series and easily stands alone. I was really looking forward to sister Harpers story but I kinda found her on the boring side romantically. She is paired with Irishman, Aiden who comes to stay at her sisters inn but who is bored and ends up helping her out.

Harper has a race horse at her animal rescue and she wants to race him but she doesn't know how. Aiden offers his expertise and thats pretty much the plot. Aiden's been betrayed and is the USA to try and find a new horse to train and he finds the perfect horse with Harper.

This was an interesting story on the race horsing side and learn what happened to Aiden but Harper just did not light up the pages. She seemed very bland and many times I almost quit reading because she was not that interesting.

I did enjoy the book because Aiden was a lot of fun and I loved seeing Harpers siblings get their happily ever after.

All Roads Lead to You is a wonderful story of new beginnings and trust. Returning to the Bishop siblings’ animal rescue farm and B & B the third book in the author’s Stay series focuses on rescue specialist Harper and her desire to rehabilitate and race a special horse, Phoenix. Fate brought Irish horse trainer, Aiden to the B & B and together they try to make Harper’s dream a reality... and not give in to their growing attraction. Harper and Aiden both have secrets they are reluctant to share, and Aiden fears if Harper ever learns the real reason he is in the States it will be a game changer. Ms. Probst creates engaging and unique characters that draw the reader into the story. Fans will enjoy learning about Hei Hei’s newest adventures and laugh at Captain Hoof’s chicken suit security blanket. New readers will certainly appreciate the imaginative ways in which the author gives personality to the animals inhabiting the book’s pages, and she is most adept at heating up whatever device the reader is using...(Do you really think there won’t be a little hanky panky as long standing walls are breached and tightly held secrets revealed?) This is another winner for Jennifer Probst; full of action, overcoming tough situations, and the bond of family. I loved every minute spent reading. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Most highly recommend.

I am not sure what I loved most about this story, the characters, the horses, or the rescue animals. I am not even joking which would come as a surprise to many people that know me because as much as I am fascinated by horses they scare the living bejesus out of me. I figured going into this story that it would be the romance itself that would win me over and that is partially true, but it was the love and connection woven through every facet of this story that won me over. I wasn't prepared for that.

The author did an amazing job putting in the details, especially horse and horse racing details, that even a newbie like myself could understand. I got excited to watch Phoenix and Elmo in the race for a win. If this is what horse racing is like then I can definitely tell that I need to start watching the Kentucky Derby. In addition to making me fall in love with horses, I, also, apparently need to start a rescue farm because my life needs A Captain and Hei Hei in it.

Harper and Aidan were also a perfect match for one another. Theirs was an instant connection but with a slow burn. I was just as invested in watching them grow with each other as I was in watching all the animals come into their own. The author knew what she was doing with these two because when the time finally came together for these characters it was explosive.

Fantastic secondary characters, laugh out loud moments, and moments that make a person believe that there is still good in the world made this a fantastic read. It also didn't hurt that it reminded me damaged souls and scars don't define a person and that was a much-needed reminder.

Jennifer Probst brings us the third book in the Stay series. Harper and Aidan bring us into the world of animal rescues and lovers alike. Ethan, Ophelia, and Harper Bishop own and operate Robin's Nest B & B and the horse-rescue farm in the town of Gardiner. Aidan O'Connor of Kildare, Ireland is a horse trainer looking for a fresh start. Harper and Aidan see the potential of leading her rescued horse Phoenix to the Triple Crown. As they all work together, Harper and Aidan must see if they can get past the hurt, betrayal, and mistrust and find what they have both been looking for in each other. Or will they allow the past to dictate their future and pass up on the opportunity of a lifetime?

Jennifer Probst gave us Ethan and Ophelia's stories and now focuses on their sister and her passion for rescuing animals. She also brings us into the world of horse racing. She shows us two individuals who are reluctant to trust anyone because of past hurts and see if they can not only heal the animals in their care, but also themselves to be open to the love that surounds them. I enjoyed seeing these two avoid and dance around each other. Even though her siblings are part of the story, you do not need to read the other two books to understand and see their love for each other. They add to the richness of the story and a way for Harper and Aidan to realize that love is not always scary and hurtful. It can heal, bring joy, and lessen the burdens life throws at you.

I enjoyed reading Harper and Aidan's story and I look forward to a new adventure with Jennifer Probst. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Montlake Romance for this privilege.

Finally time for Harper to tell us her story.
She runs the horse rescue farm connected to her family's B&B.
Her newest rescue is Phoenix. He's magnificent and she wants to train him as a race horse.

Enter Aidan. He's a horse trainer from Ireland.
He's had some bad luck with business and love back home and now he's looking for something to do in America. And he finds that with beautiful Harper and her horse!

Immediate attraction between Harper and Aidan - but they can't start anything while they have to work together to get Phoenix ready for the Derby!!

Let the fun times begin ....

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HARPER & AIDAN?

Another adorable romance in this sweet series!

I was waiting for Harper's story. And I loved it.

There were so many adorable moments! And funny ones - especially with the animals - Hei Hei and Captain Hoof! I adored them!!!

But I was a bit disappointed too. I almost stopped reading a few times.
Both Aidan and Harper felt this 'voice in their heads' telling them that 'something is coming'. And there's this religious feeling through the whole book. I hated that! I wanted to throw my kindle out the next window a few times. I can't stand those kinds of spiritual or whatever things. But I kept on reading because I love that family and that farm and B&B and Aidan was great too - sexy horse-whispering guy with an Irish accent!

It was a sweet and funny and heartbreaking and very horsey & animaly love story!
Great cast of humans and animals!

Also ... Hei Hei and Captain Hoof are the best book pets ever!!!!! ☺ LOL!

► ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU was an adorable and moving romance! Full of horses and family.
Run to your nearest amazon for your own Aidan - this one is mine! And I want my own baby goat now too please!

Harper is happy with her simple life on the farm rescuing animals. She's not looking for love, marriage or kids, happy to have short affairs when the right man comes along. Aiden's looking to make a name for himself in horse racing in the states. After being betrayed by his partner in Ireland, he just wants to find the right horse to train, win, and return home a king. Agreeing to keep things strictly business Aiden and Harper work together to prepare Phoenix to race, Their attraction is too strong to deny, even when it means saying good bye in few months with broken hearts.

This is a great addition to the other 2 books. While they were all centered on life on the farm, this one definitely spent more time with the animals. I absolutely adored Captain Hoof, the visual of a baby goat in a chicken costume made me laugh. Of course Hei Hei is always a favorite, terrorizing everyone new. If you love animals this is definitely a book you want to read, the love and compassion it takes to take in rescues is amazing. I really liked that Harper stated that she wasn't looking for marriage and that she didn't want to have kids because she has her animals. I think overall, most romances, the HEA includes marriage and kids, and there's nothing wrong with that. I also think it's important to recognize that a lot of people's idea of an HEA in life doesn't include marriage and kids, I really appreciate that in this book. The physical descriptors of Harper and Aiden match the couple on the front of the book, which I also really appreciate. Frequently, the cover picture doesn't match, I think that's an important detail that gets overlooked too often. Overall, this is a great book, definitely recommend.

4.5 Wonderfully Addictive Stars
Yep, Jennifer Probst is back on track with this wonderful romance with two stubborn characters who are literally made for each other. I don’t think I’ve read a story with characters more perfect for each other. From their love of animals through to their ability to speak their minds and know what the other is thinking. I was itching for them to finally do the deed, talk about a slow burn. I loved Aidan O’Connor, his passion, his love of ALL the animals, and his protectiveness towards Harper (even though we all know Harper doesn’t need anyone to look out for her). Harper’s first love (after family), has always been her farm and her rescue animals, and what a bunch of characters all those animals are, each with their individual quirks and traits. So so funny, I mean a goat dressed in a chicken outfit, it was hilarious. It was great to catchup with all the previous characters on the farm, with the addition of a few newbies to add to the mix. I sure hope this isn’t the last we see of the Bishops and their menagerie of farm animals. A wonderful, lighthearted, sweet read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Another great book from this author!! I love everything about this series! The characters are awesome and I love that animals have a big part to play in this series too!! Such a fun read!!!

This is the third book in the series, but it is a stand alone. Harper has a horse farm in addition to participating in animal rescues. We wound out in the first book of the series that she rescues a thoroughbred horse that she beamed Phoenix. Aidan is a horse trainer from Ireland that is looking for his next horse to train in addition to deal with some baggage from home. He stays at the family bed and breakfast where he meets Harper and Phoenix. This is the journey of not only Harper and Aidan, but of Phoenix’s racing story. It was a well written story and emotional, in addition to funny. (Hei Hei is so funny) I also loved all of the animals that play a large part of this story (and named after Disney characters). I definitely recommend this book.

Harper runs an animal rescue on the former farm that her family now runs an inn on. She has started to feel like a fifth wheel as her sister has recently married and her brother is engaged. She has recently rescued a horse that she believes has the potential to be a successful race horse, but knows that she doesn’t have the experience to train him.

Aiden is vacationing at Harper’s family’s inn. He recently escaped from his native Ireland after having suffered a heartbreaking betrayal. He is immediately attracted to Harper. The attraction is partly physical, but also do to their mutual love of horses. After meeting Phoenix, Harper’s rescued horse with racing potential, he reveals to Harper that he is a race horse trainer.

Can two very independent people who are sure that they don’t want any part of a long-term relationship find happiness together?

Loved this story..... sensual, descriptive, heartfelt read.
All Roads Leads to You is a part of a series though each book is a standalone story the other stories in the series serves to enhance.

Harper is happy with her life with no complications until Aiden wanders in to the inn. Aiden is looking for his big win to show those in Ireland that he is a "winner" I love the introduction of new family member Captain and all the love he brings with him.

There were many instances where my heart raced to rally for a specific goal. Emotional scenes - sense of belonging, vulnerabilities are displayed as one learns to let go and to follow the path their heart leads them on.
Heartfelt story of believing in order to grow.

"Wounded souls recognize one another"

The is the third book in the Stay series and my first book by the author. You may be missing some aspects of cross-referenced between previous stories but it wasn't so much that I couldn't figure things out, so it could be read as a stand-alone

Harper works on her family's farm attached to the Bed and Breakfast the family built. Harper rescues abused animals and gives them a second chance at life. Phoenix is a beautiful horse that makes you work for his love but Harper sees his potential to be a winner. Enter Aiden. He is a horse trainer from Ireland trying to find his next horse to train, a new beginning, and redemption. He takes one look at Phoenix and he knows he has a winner in his sights. Both Phoenix and Harper make him work for it. Through Phoenix, both Harper and Aiden discover things about themselves and about each other.

The book takes place over a year, which I prefer to insta-stories. The lust to love is a slow burn and done very well. This book is a simple story of people (and animals) coming together to help one another try to reach their fullest potential. (There are no themes of treachery, drama, other woman/man/triangle drama, or harm to animals or farm if those things make you worried or detract from your reading experience.)

I will warn those with the potential to go out and buy a ton of rescue animals and put them in silly costumes, you might wake up in a daze a few days from now with a farm in your house. Not that you shouldn't do that but just know if you have the leanings, this will only make it worse. Be warned.

I would recommend the book for those that like to read about slow burn romance, horses, rescue animals, and coming back against all odds.

All Roads Lead to You by Jennifer Probst. 5 stars

I have read Ms. Probst before starting with her Billionaire Builders series. I was introduced to the Stay series published by Montlake with the second book, A Brand New Ending. I enjoyed that book and went to find the first book, The Start of Something Good immediately. This is the third book in the series and I think the best one. It reminds one of a classic romance, two individuals hurt and betrayed finding the courage to trust again. What makes this my favorite are the animals, we meet Hei Hei again and he is funny as ever. But I love Phoenix and Captain Hoof.

This book is about Harper Bishop, the last unattached Bishop sibling and Aidan O'Connor, a wandering horse trainer from Ireland looking for redemption. The plot centers around Phoenix, the rescued thoroughbred and his road to racing victory. Along the way we get the backstory for Harper and Aidan. This was a beautiful romance with the signature steam from Ms, Probst. Ms. Probst provided a lot of information on the ins and outs of the racing world; that did not detract from the romance and added some interest.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for this ARC.

This is a novel beautiful novel of love, horse racing, and belonging written by one of the masters of romance—Jennifer Probst. It is hard to go wrong when you pick up one of her books. It is wonderful novel to enjoy on a lazy afternoon.

Loved this book, the third in the series, this is the story of Harper and Aiden.
She leads a quiet life, running her animal rescue. He is running away from Ireland, looking for a new horse to train, and finds Harper and Phoenix her rescue horse.

He was always meant to leave, but what will happen when he is actually supposed to go?

Love this series and the Bishops. Harper is fierce, strong, protective, yet so vulnerable. Her character is perfect for the animal rescue business and her backstory only adds depth to the emotion of the story.

Aidan is sexy and strong and about to be knocked off his feet. He is absolutely not looking for attachments or connections but that's exactly what he finds with the Bishops.

Loved book 3 in this series and so hoping Chloe gets a story of her own.

What a sweet story for the last Bishop sibling. Harper and Aiden are the perfect couple. They knew right away but took things slow due to working relationship. You’ll learn a lot about horse racing but it did take over the story which is a good thing. They handle the obstacles like adults without the drama which I loved.
All past players make an appearance including Hei Hei the chicken.
I recommend the whole series and I look forward to what comes next from JP

This is without a doubt my favourite book of this series. Harper is such a lovable, independent woman who knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to be blunt about it. Aidan is equally as honest, but you always get the sense that you don't quite know all his story.
One of my favourite things to read in a romance is when our two mains fight their mutual attraction to each other. When the writing makes you feel the tension and you're just waiting for the crackle to go "boom". Boy did I feel this with Harper and Aidan.
The lovely interactions with her family, and of the course the usual menagerie (and the newbies!) are such fun to read. I liked the minimal drama. I anticipated one thing, and was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
