This was a heartwarming romance that tackles the challenges of taking on child care during a budding relationship. Cassie and Jett are absolute goals, but I wish there was more development put into their relationship. It was more told to us that they were perfect for each other than shown why. The children are quite a handful, but we don't get a lot of development from Cassie and Jett feeling so overwhelmed that they can't handle them to not being able to live without them. But still, it was a very sweet story that I thoroughly enjoyed!

This is a great summer read! The story is about a couple that reconnect after years, through online dating, and due to other circumstances become foster parents to three children. It has some really fun parts, and some sad stuff as well. I thought is was written well, and it kept me entertained! I would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed The Dating Charade.. It was much more than a romance, it was story that really delved into two people who suddenly and unexpectedly become foster parents while just starting a relationship. The fact that Cassie & Jett were both so willing to take care of & love children that weren't biologically theirs showed the kind of people they were, the kind you know would create a love & family that would last a lifetime. The banter was witty, funny and the stories involving the children was heartbreaking at times but also hysterical at times (Jett dealing with poppy diapers). The stories were also dealt with in a very real & kind manner. The love story was sweet & beautiful. This book is categorized as a Christian Romance, which I would agree with as there are no hot & steamy scenes but I was ok with that because of the story. I would recommend this book if you want a real-life love story. The book releases on December 3, 2019. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
