The Strait .is the first I've read by this author. A great story and one that was hard to put down.

Synopsis:
Jake Silver is haunted by a cruel irony. He secretly suspects that he’s the reason Swede Bergstrom, the hero who saved his life, has fallen on hard times. Upon learning that Swede has been killed in the commission of a crime, the guilt-driven Jake quickly agrees to to follow Swede’s mysterious and beautiful sister, Christina, on a search to clear her brother’s name. The odyssey will take them from the caverns of Manhattan to the heart of darkness, collecting colorful characters and dodging death every step of the way.

Excellent story. A real who's who. Traveling up and down the east coast. Some nice flying in it. It would be nice to have the money to get into a plane and just fly. Jumping into a 747 would be even better. Murder and mayhem over drugs - or is it radial engines. Having flown in some aircraft with radial engines, I can say they are really tough, powerful engines. Come on and fly. You will not get air sick!!!! Highly recommended.
