Good book on finance written for the millennial. I particularly like that it included information for both the US and Canadian retirement funding schemes.

This was a pretty good financial book that covers a wide variety of topics like: investing, earning extra money with a side hustle, retirement, real estate, and other general advice. The author has definitely done his research and knows what he's talking about. As someone who doesn't know much about investing, I definitely found that section to be the most helpful for me.

All in all, I'd recommend this one for people who are looking for financial advice, specifically in the arenas of retirement and investing.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I work in finance and studying personal finance is a love of mine. Things I liked: lots of details so the reader feels like they are coming away with their money’s worth, information for both the US and Canada, and chapters with plentiful ideas and suggestions, like how to have a side job. Things I didn’t like: I think putting profanity in the title will hurt sales. There are many people who won’t touch this book because of it. Also, I think that the first chapter on happiness could have been eliminated. It would have been better to jump right into the money details. In general, I found the book to be very helpful, even if I didn’t agree with every bit of advice.

Great book in financial education, at least basic and for the system in US and Canada, because it is very different in my country.

I really enjoyed this book. Realistic and easy to understand financial advice. Actual information that helps you understand your net worth and how to create a working budget. I especially enjoyed the list on different ways to save money which went far beyond the standard save for your future by skipping your daily coffee. While I have paid off all of my credit card debt and students loans, understanding the best way to go about it will certainly be helpful to people in that situation. The breakdowns for retirement were easy to understand and I enjoyed the real world examples! The section on investments was really well done and simplified so that anyone could get a good grasp on where to begin with their portfolio. I also found that the sections covering other types of investments, such as real estate, to be realistic and sound. I loved the section about living your life and ways to find satisfaction after retirement! It's important to understand flexible goals and be malleable during that transitional period. From one millennial to another, bravo!

What I really liked about this book is that it was not strictly financial information, it talked about happiness and living a self-fulfilled life.

Really an eye-opener and must read for any individual living in the U.S. or Canada. I literally devoured it in a couple of hours and I made notes to make sure I follow Dumont's advice.

What I liked the most about this book is that not only it provides solid financial advice, but also it makes it a point to focus on THE ultimate goal: happiness. When everything is made with purpose, also saving and investing is much easier.

Thank you! This book is fantastic and I will definitely recommend it to all my students.

Solid and comprehensive. Very well structured content to cover different aseptic budgeting, controlling your finances, planning and even brainstorming your potential side income. I think books of this kind should be a part of college or secondary school program. This is a very good guidance for new generation.
