Buzzy's Adventure in Online Privacy is a cute story with solid advice for kids. As more children use personal devices for education and entertainment, they need strategies to deal with possible threats. This books would benefit my instruction. Thanks XcooBee LLc and NetGalley for the ARC of this title.

Online privacy/safety is a very important topic, which this book helps educate young children about. Going through the book together with parents, pausing to make certain that children understand and to connect it to their real-life examples will yield the most benefit. Some children might need to take it in smaller bites.

A bit lacking in visual content, but a nice jumping off point for parents and teachers for introducing online safety with kids.

This is a great book to help children understand why privacy is important online. The story is fun with good illustrations but at times it did seem like a list of things not to do was just put into the story rather than it being more integrated into the story. The parents notes are fantastic and give lots of details to help with the topic. A good book with good intentions and an enjoyable story but I think making it flow more worth less lists of facts would've made it more enjoyable for the children.

I received an arc of this book on netgalley.

Interesting, some children might like this book but some might be scared or bored by it. It was okay, but the parents notes are helpful.

In this day and age of the internet we have to do what is necessary to protect our children. This book is a great way to educate your child of the dangers. Buzzy and his friend Emma are playing a game on the internet when Foxy comes on and wants to be their friend. He is good at the game and they want to be his friend too. Before they could push the button Mom comes in and stops them. She then has a long talk about strangers on the internet. The next day at school their teacher Mrs. Owly goes into more detail about what not to do and listens to some of the children's stories relating to this. It has great tips for parents in the end of the book. The book is short enough to hold a child's attention and the characters are cute. I recommend this book for 5+ and school libraries.

This simple story gave an introduction to internet safety and online privacy for children. It was clearly written with colourful pictures and lots of opportunities for discussion, with Advice on how you should react in situations you might encounter and what to tell an adult this is a good guide for young children. This could be used with any age group across a primary school. The story was quite simple with bright animal characters encountering the various ‘internet baddies’ which would engage young children, but older children could also learn a lot from the advice give by the parent and teacher characters. The end of the book contains advice and suggestions for parents and guardians which I think is important as everything is so much more accessible than when we were children and I think a lot of parents might still be unaware of what their children are able to access and encounter on computers and games consoles.

I received an eARC of this book from the publishers in exchange for an honest review

This children's educational book is ectremely useful to parents and teachers alike in order to show students/children what can go wrong online, what they should be weary about and what they should do in case of danger in a fun way, with animals instead of human beings to help them understand the message and not be too abrupt!
An excellent book which I highly recommend to all!
