Kelly Jamieson did a fantastic job again in her newest release, In It To Win It. It is captivating, with a perfect amount of suspense that continually makes you turn the page. The perfect feel good story!

I love a hockey romance so I was excited to read this. JP Wynn is hockey’s bad boy and he’s got the reputation to prove it. He gets into some trouble at a wedding and hooks up with a bridesmaid. Taylor Hart is trying to get over her broken heart and stay away from bad boys and athletes. Hockey players especially since her ex got traded and didn’t even tell her and then at the wedding a fight breaks out and she hooked up with a groomsman. She has terrible luck with men. Too bad for her that groomsman was JP Wynn and he has eyes set on her. This book had me hooked and these two had me laughing and crying. I loved the first book in this series and I think I liked this one even better cause these two characters are so well written and have so many great things about them. You will enjoy it.

Although I didn't read the first book of this series, I will read it now! I absolutely loved these characters that Ms. Jamieson has created in her mind. JP and Taylor stole my heart right away and I cannot wait to read Theo's story from book 1.

I know this is only the second book of the series but this is hands down my favorite of Ms. Jamieson’s. I normally like a bit more angst in my stories but the story was perfect for JP and Taylor. While JP was the piranha in the first book, he redeems himself quickly. Misunderstood, he takes a lot of flack from his family and struggles with the pressures of being a Wynn. Taylor has to deal with her own issues when she is blindsided by a familial incident. These two are so good together and Byron definitely steals the show. There are so layers to the Wynn family and so much possibilities. I cannot wait to see the rest of the stories unfold.

This is the second book in the Wynn hockey book series. The author has written about hockey before and knows her stuff. The book does a good job of merging the sport and romance. After reading the first book, you knew JP was a jerk. This book attempts to rehabilitate him, but after starting the book by sleeping with one of the guests, Taylor, at a wedding and then getting in a fight with her ex-boyfriend, it doesn't look good. To try to get on his family's and Taylor's good side, JP decides to clean up his act. It is not easy and there is temptation at every turn, especially with Taylor. I was worried about this book when the two main characters got together right at the beginning of the book. Most of the time I prefer some anticipation and slow burn. Luckily after the first chapter, they slow down and build a romance that ends in a HEA.

JP and Taylor have an instant connection when they meet at a wedding, but can their sparks last? Taylor and JP have a great chemistry, but they also have great friends that they can confide in. I was really interested in how much of their internal lives and feelings I got to see. It was very much below-the-surface, which helped me relate to the characters and see them as real people. I would absolutely read more from this series, because the peripheral characters were really great, too.

No going to lie, I totally requested this book because of the cover. mmmhmmm This book was hawt!
I liked the characters (both primary and secondary). They were likable and realistic. I was disappointed in the family of JP that they were so judgy of him, but supportive of Theo.

Hockey, bad choices, fighting. wedding

JP is a bad boy, hockey player who stole his brother's girlfriend. That's just poor form.
He meets Taylor at said brother's wedding and its immediate hook up, but a scuffle with her ex first.

Taylor and JP get along and there's no real conflict . She just makes it so easy for him.

This is such a fun read. Bad boy hockey player JP Wynn finds himself in even more trouble when he hooks up with a bridesmaid at his brother’s wedding. Third generation hockey royalty, JP just can’t seem to do anything right and he’s once again in the doghouse with his famous family. As he tries to fix his reputation, he can’t seem to avoid Taylor, the bridesmaid hook-up. JP is a hot mess, but Taylor brings out the best in him and he soon finds himself wanting more than a hook-up.

I’m really enjoying this series. These books take a fresh approach to hockey romance and the result is a little bit Dallas on Ice – with a good sense of humour. The women in these stories are more interesting than some of Jamieson’s recent characters and the dysfunctional Wynn family is highly entertaining. Like the last book, Taylor brings a good dose of real life to JP’s first world problems. The recent graduate is struggling to live on her own and she can’t find a landlord who allows pets. Her life puts the Wynn family squabbles in perspective. I love the sense of play in this story – despite all his best intentions, JP just seems to invite chaos and catastrophe.

There’s a little more actual hockey in this book than the first one but the focus remains on the characters and the Wynn family. There are a few steamy scenes and great chemistry between Taylor and JP. I’m enjoying watching the relationships between the Wynns and their partners develop across the books and I’m already excited for the next books in the series.

This is the second book in the series, and I really think that you should read them in order. The Wynn family is big, complicated, and all about hockey! Understanding the family dynamics will help with some of the snark, and the politics!

JP is a good guy who has a quick temper on and off the ice. He made a big mistake when he started seeing his brother's girlfriend, Emma, although she had said they were over at the time. In his head he is still paying for that mistake, even though his brother has now moved on, and in fac,t is marrying Lacey at the beginning of this book. He is now determined to be better, and to keep his temper under control from now on – and as the new season is about to start, that is definitely his plan. He has been training really hard for pre-season and is in a good place mentally. So when everything transpires at the wedding, he just cannot believe it all overturned so quickly.

Taylor behaved out of character at the wedding, but sees something in JP which deep down she thinks might be worth fighting for, more than just amazing chemistry. The road is certainly not smooth, but getting to know him better thanks to him taking in her much loved dog, does give them both an excuse to spend time together. I thought that the side story of her parents and why they split up after so long together was good at pushing the boundaries, and giving her just as much angst as JP in her personal life.

I really enjoyed reading about how JP and Taylor got to know each other, repair the damage to each other's hearts, and come to realise the faults and triggers which needed addressing. We also got to spend plenty of time with other members of the Wynn clan who are ripe for finding their happily ever afters and look forward to more hockey-fueled romance from them. Thank you, Kelly Jamieson, for another excellent installment.

We met JP in the first book as he is Theo’s brother and the same one who stole his brother's girlfriend. But to JP's credit, the girlfriend told JP she and Theo were broken up. But JP knew in the back of his mind he should have stayed away from her, but he didn't. So now he is the bad boy Wynn. The hockey family royalty and he is humiliated every time the family gets together.

He is trying to turn his life around but while at his brother's wedding rehearsal, he sees a woman he wants to get closer to and spend some time with.

Taylor knows that JP Wynn is known for his fighting on the ice. She knows he is a bad boy, but she finds him funny, a joy to be around, and very sexy. He invites her up to his room for the night, it is left up to her. But what harm can one hook-up do? She probably won't see him after the wedding anyway.

Neither JP nor Taylor has that kind of luck when they are dancing at the reception and JP is jumped by Taylor's ex. Taylor gets mad and leaves both men bleeding. JP is angry she left because he didn't do anything, and he has to find out why she left but she will not see him.

Taylor doesn't want to date a man with anger issue and that leaves JP out. But she can't help her feelings for him. And after JP offers to keep her dog, she is beginning to see that he might want more with her.

Can Taylor and JP make a relationship work? Will his anger issues be the end before they really begin a relationship? Will his anger continue to control his time on the ice?

I have come to love a great hockey story and the Wynn Hockey series is one I really enjoy. I recommend this series if you love a great story with a bad boy with a big heart. I hope you love it too.

M/F Sports Romance

JP is the brother that we met in book one who doesn’t always make the best decisions. And even though he knew he probably shouldn’t go after his brother’s girlfriend, despite her telling him that she was no longer with said brother, JP did and it almost broke his relationship with his family.

JP is trying to fix his reputation both on and off the ice. He knows that his emotions can get the better of him and he’s trying very hard to work on being less emotional. When he meets Taylor, he knows that she might not be the best choice, but he can’t help his attraction. However, when he’s laid flat out on the floor at his brother’s wedding, JP knows that something is off and Taylor is off limits.

Throughout this book, we see JP change his ability to control the emotions that fly through him both on and off the ice. There is still an underlying issue with his family and the two hockey teams, but JP and his brother have come to a good place.

While this was a sweet story about finding your own way, it wasn’t too mushy in the romance department. Taylor and JP have to decide if their differences and issues can be overcome in order to truly pursue a relationship.

Fun read. This one seemed less focused on the sport and more of the relationship. I enjoy this series.

A sexy sports romance! I absolutely loved Book 1 Play To Win & highly recommend reading it first to learn about all the characters in the Wynn dynasty. In It to win it is book 2 and now we get JP & Taylor’s story!

JP is trying to reform himself & become a better person. When he meets Taylor she sees past his insecurities and flaws to the man he truly is.

I love the Wynn family!! Can’t wait to read Book 3!!

Part of the Wynn Hockey Series, In It To Win It wouldnt stand well alone. I read the first book in the series, so I was able to follow the storyline, etc easily. In It To Win It is entertaining, light and sexy. I was hoping for a bit more character growth in the heroine. The hero was quite compelling and likable. The romance is satisfying and I'll stick around for book three.
I received my copy through NetGalley under no obligation.

In It To Win It is the second book in the ‘Winn Hockey’ series by Kelly Jamieson. It focuses on Theo’s brother JP. (Theo starred with Lacey in book 1 Play To Win. If you haven’t read this yet, you should, preferably before book 2, but it’s not a vital requirement if you haven’t. These are stand alone titles even though previous characters do show up.
Unlike his brother, who is the GM of the Condors, JP plays for the Golden Eagles. He’s been trapped with the monika ‘bad boy of hockey’ and his family, due to his quick fire temper and questionable decisions both on and off the field.
Taylor is a child speech therapist who loves her job, her life and her family. She is looking for a man to share all that love with. But, then she meets JP. They’re both attending Theo and Lacey’s wedding weekend. They share an undeniably and scorching hot chemistry that won’t be denied. Some seriously hot times between the sheets leads to JP being tossed in water almost as hot. JP hates being held to blame when he (for once) was the innocent party, all he did was fall for a sexy girl.
JP keep meeting up though, and eventually they decide to give a ‘fun time’ a go. Feelings creep into the mix though, as they always do, and JP finds it hard to juggle his professional life. Something has to give. JP is in need of some of that straight talking he gave his brother not so long ago.
Will he listen?
I loved this story, is was a bit of a slow burner despite how it started, and I loved watching JP and taylor develop a real relationship. Plus catching up with the Winns was fun too.
We also got a taster of the next couple and I can’t wait to see how Everly and Wyatt get together in Win Big, Book 3 coming soon.

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

This was a fabulous hockey romance as JP sorts through his messy life choices to unexpectedly fall in love. Taylor certainly goes through some odd life changing events of her own to find what she wanted all along. This was a fun and smexy read!

What did I like? Author certainly made these two jump through some hurdles in order to be together. Loved JP and the epic Wynn dynasty.

Would I buy this book? Yes, and if your a puck bunny reader then you will love this book!

Thoughts for the author? Love this series!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, laughs, naughty fun, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Play to Win (Wynn Hockey #1)

This is Taylor and JP’s story. Taylor and JP meet at a wedding that turns crazy when her ex shows, and a fight breaks out. Now she is trying to avoid being alone with either of them. They are both crazy. The chemistry is off the chart between her and JP but can she really trust it? After all look how the last relationship ended. She has to decide if she is willing to give him a chance and he has to figure out if she is worth the fight.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Another hot Wynn (see what I did there?) From Kelly Jamieson and the Wynn Hockey series.

In It to Win It is book two and picks up the story of JP and Taylor. JP is a screw up, or at least he thinks he is. It's actually pretty painful to read. 😭

Taylor is stubborn and afraid after a family situation shakes her foundation.

Together they help each other do better and learn to love each other, in spite of themselves.

I loved this sweet story, didnt hurt that it was smoking hot too. Plus there's a dog. A dog is always equals entertaining reading! 🐶

If you like hockey romances. Or just like romance, give Kelly Jamieson's Wynn Hockey series a chance. Pretty sure you'll enjoy reading about how these Wynn men mess things up.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

I always enjoy a Kelly Jamieson hockey story! This one doesn't disappoint either. JP and Taylor are hot together, but they each have their own issues to overcome. It's worth the time to read and find out if they get their HEA or if mean Manny Martinez comes in for the win here.

Another solid hockey romance from K. Jamieson.

JP -- I loved! Just everything about him. He has depth and character. Funny. Snarky. Kind (mostly when no one else was looking). Loving. And so much more. He's "ever so dreamy."

Taylor -- Meh. I did not love her. I did not hate her. I found her annoying several times throughout the book. She lacked the depth that Jamieson gave JP.

I love a good series, and the Wynn series is moving well. The men are magically delicious. Romance filled with lots of heat and passion.

I look forward to the next installment with the Wynn dynasty.

JP and Taylor are both trying to move beyond their troubled pasts will their newfound partnership result in changes for the good or will it destroy them both?

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

This is my first book by Kelly Jamieson. I wasn't disappointed to say the least. In It To Win It is steamy, romantic, and sports-based. I can't wait to read more by this author.
