This was an interesting and unique read. IT was set up differently than other books as it was originally set as a scrip tot a play I believe.

I saw a lot of great reviews for the book in other places, but something was just missing here for me.

This is an unusual book. It's written as a script for a play. At 136 pages it's a quick read about how lives are affected by the Viet Nam War. The young men who fought this war are forever changed as are their families. I was left with feelings of futility as the story ended. Part of the message I received was life goes on regardless of past or present conflicts. I read the other reviews which were all five stars and wish I could give the same rating. The book definitely had a message and was well written but it left me with more questions about what the author wanted the reader to feel.
