Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Much more plot than I was expecting, given the title, and I became invested in the characters. I also did not see the ending coming, so that was fun. A quick read, but I would have appreciated more secondary characters to help round out Isaac and Maggie's personalities.

I adored this book! Great story, and this book was smoking hot, I mean seriously fire. Tara Sue Me does it again!

This book was a quick BDSM romance with light kink and a quick romance. I liked Maggie and Isaac but wanted more details to see why they fell in love. It was enjoyable but didn’t pack the emotional punch of The Submissive by the same author.

I received this arc for an honest review.
Maggie is offered a job as a personal assistant after running into and dropping compost onto the man that ends up hiring her. Isaac though her boss is intrigued by her. Her looks, personality, and someone that stirs his insides. He also would like to be inside of her as well. This all changes for them when he sees her at the club that he is a member of. She wanting to see what BDSM clubs are like goes as a guest and is really not surprised when Isaac finds her there.
Their time goes from the club to the bedroom to the office where it really is hot. Don’t think that Maggie does not know what she is doing to him and how she affects him in the office, bedroom, or where ever, she doesn’t mind either. This is a fun erotic and just a very good read with really good characters.

I did enjoy Isaac and Maggie’s story but found it very confusing at first. The first couple of chapters started off in different tenses without notice. Tied into FOK (book #1), Isaac is one of Lance’s business partners. Maggie is a widow dealing with the aftermath of her husband’s death. I liked that this installment had a bit of mystery/twist you didn’t see coming thrown in. If it wasn’t for those first few chapters, I could have absolutely rated this higher.

Absolutely adored this book. I wish it was longer. Maggie was such a fun h. Issac was such an amazing H. I loved their connection. I wish the story was longer but just because I enjoyed it so much.

DNF for me. I love Tara but this book I couldn't connect with. :(

*Note to co-op: I tried to read book twice and made it to about 25% and it just wasn't for me. I just couldn't get into the crazy fast insta-love and I'm not someone who hates insta (if it fits it fits but this for me didn't work). Normally I soak up all of Tara's books.

Another great read by Tara. It was quick but definitely had the right amount of drama, banter, humor heat and off the charts chemistry between Isaac and Maggie. They were perfect for each other even though they were complete opposites.
I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to see what the next book brings

Maggie Warren has always been unfocused. She hops from job to job, and relationship to relationship. Most of the time, she’s not even looking where she’s going. Which is exactly what happens when she runs into Isaac Gregory, trips over her feet, and dumps a year’s worth of compost all over his hand-stitched suit and one-of-a-kind leather shoes.
This was a great book. I really enjoyed both characters, particularly Isaac, and the hawt scenes. I recommend.

A new author to me, I read Big Swinging D all in one read. I was intrigued with this story from the start. Isaac has a secret life and he does not want his newly hired, after just meeting her, assistant Maggie to know about it. Issac is a Dom by night and though Maggie is his exact opposite he can't stop wanting to control her, as least in bed anyway. Maggie has an idea of what he does at night and when she finds out, boy do things change for the two of them, Lol. I truly enjoyed this one! 4 stars*****

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

I freaking loved this book, just wish it came with pictures because that title is so hard to get out of your mind while your reading this book😂.

This was a gentle BDSM book with barely a hint at a sweet D/s relationship which fanned the flames for that title. The author knocked it out of the ball park for me on this one, as I devoured this fun book. Maggie was such a gentle sweet woman, and Isaac was just plain fun. Any boss that ignores stuff like his nickname would be hell on wheels. I recommend this book to anyone with a vivid imagination who loves some great characters and smarmy humor! Five stars of fun here!

As my first foray into the world of Tara Sue Me, I wasn't 100% what to expect. I wasn't expecting two characters that I would love and care about. And yet I did. I wasn't expecting an actual story line. But there it was! I was pleasantly surprised and completely captivated. I can't wait for the next story!

I voluntarily requested an advance reader copy of Big Swinging D by Tara Sue Me, because her books have often been recommended to me, so this is the first time I've read her, and, as seems to be my habit, it's the second book in a series, and I've not read the first one, but this novel is billed as a standalone, and I guess it works as such, but I fail to see what all the rave reviews are about, because this short novel could, at best, have been referred to as BDSM-light, and for that reason along with others I'll mention, this was, in my opinion, a 1-star read.

The female lead in this novel is Maggie, a widow, whose late husband found her interest in adding a little kink to their marital relationship unacceptable, and so their sex was as vanilla as vanilla could be. After his death, Maggie finds herself in desperate need of a full-time job, and after actually running into Isaac, a Wall Street millionaire, and accidentally pouring a big bucket of compost all over him and his expensive suit, she invites him back to her apartment to shower and change his now odiferous clothing for clothing that once belonged to her late husband. Next thing you know, Maggie is working as Issac's personal assistant, notwithstanding her lack of office skills, her haphazard way of doing things and her messy desk. Despite Isaac's policy to not become involved with his employees, he's attracted to Maggie, who figures out rather quickly that Isaac is a Dom, and has the nerve to ask him about it. She is soon transferred to another job, freeing her up for a relationship with Isaac, and her BDSM dreams are about to come true.

The relationship between these two characters is pretty much nonexistent, and there is little to no depth or backstory for either of them, the most we learn is that Maggie's late husband was a bit of a prude, and we learn nothing about how Isaac got his nickname, while the novel's title does give us a clue about his attributes. We don't know how or why he became a Dom, or anything else about his history, his emotions, or his past He's a rather staid, cool and commanding Dom verbally, and Maggie is pretty much his exact opposite, and why he is suddenly attracted to her just one more unanswered question about this pair.

By the time these two characters finally get together sexually, I found Maggie's introduction to BDSM rather bland and in no way sexy--one slight bj, a spanking, getting bent over a chair, and told to be quiet was a major fail, in my opinion, and Maggie's acceptance of becoming Isaac's submissive which almost immediately becomes mutual insta-love was so low-key and considering their lack of communication, was virtually unbelievable. I also found the fact that Isaac didn't do threesomes was rather odd for a Dom who belongs to a BDSM club, where sharing a submissive is a rather common occurrence. Unfortunately, this is about a deeply as the author delved into the psyches of her characters actions and emotions. This novel read like a summary of a BSDM novel by someone who knew little about the BDSM lifestyle, and was clearly designed for readers who know little or nothing about the lifestyle either. Unfortunately, I know more about the lifestyle than the author appeared to know, and, as I felt about the 50 Shades series, people who really know nothing about the BDSM lifestyle, shouldn't be writing about it.

All in all, while this novel was blessedly a quick, short read, that's about the only good thing I can say about it. If you are interested in reading more about BDSM, there are far better novels about the subject out there, by authors like Shayla Black, Lora Leigh and Nikki Sex, and I'd recommend reading those to get a better idea about the BDSM lifestyle than what this novel has to offer in the way of an explanation, common practices, and an emotional connection to its characters.

Another great book in this series. I can't wait to read the 3rd about Ty and Lillian. I would recommend this for all romance readers out there.

I am a fan of Tara’s books and I can never get enough! Maggie is a widow and she is looking to make something of herself. She bumps into Isaac Gregory, Wall Street tycoon, who’s very efficient assistant left him when her ex-husband and partner came back to the states. Their attraction for each other is intense, but he wont act on it. Maggie is looking for something and she thinks that kink might be something she wants to explore. Their story unfolds right in front of your eyes. A beautiful story of love lost and another door opening. The story has a little drama and suspense and an HEA.

I liked the premise of the story, but the pacing and the details could have been be better. The book got off to a strong start, but then became rushed with an all too quick attraction an overly complicated backstory for the heroine and unlikely scenarios (Hyper fast document reading that reveals her whole story in a second!) that felt forced and detracted from the story.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love Tara Sue Me writing she is so great with erotic scenes. I'm addicted to this series. Thankful to get this book from this Netgalley.

Maggie is witty, funny, and sweet. She feels so alone her husband died and his family blames her for his death. I have no idea how she fell in love with her husband. He seemed sweet but very traditional. She is the opposite a free spirit plus she always wanted to try bdsm.

Issac is a dom in his work place he is rumored to have a big Swinging d. So the title fell perfectly with Issac.

This book was spicy, funny, steamy and suspenseful.
