One night, in a party, Libby sees Grayson Chapman. She used to have a crush on him when she was a teenager. But he was always broody and mysterious.
After just one night together, he proposes. And eleven months after that, they have a baby. Great, right?
Well, it's not great when Grayson claims he is sterile. So, the baby can't be his.
This story is about the journey a couple must go through when their marriage has been destroyed by mistrust and hurt.
The book is OK. I didn't love it, honestly. I found some parts were really slow. But I did like the change in Grayson throughout the story.

I swear I love each Natasha Anders book a little more than the previous one. This story with Greyson and Olivia (Libby) is so full of heartbreak, emotion, regret, forgiveness, family and emotion. Not just between Greyson and Olivia, but with his brother Harrison and Tina as well (the characters from the first book in the series). Greyson and Olivia's story runs parallel to Harrison and Tina's but is a stand alone. However it makes it more meaningful reading both and both stories more profound since you get each character's point of view. I loved this one mainly because of Greyson. To read and feel his transformation from a man who appears heartless, but later we see that is not quite the right word, to a man who is open, full of regret and emotion, desperately trying to right his life and keep his family. I loved the way Olivia was written. She was strong for her daughter, refused to settle for Greyson's treatment, or give in to the undeniable chemistry until she got the apology she deserved and even then kept him at arm's length. But their reunion was heart healing and beautiful. I adored the epilogue with the glimpse into the future. A perfect ending for the Chapman families.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Natasha Anders is a new-to-me author. I’m always on the hunt for new authors to fall in love with their writing, so when I was asked to review this book, I was happy to.

Libby and Greyson come from different worlds even though they grew up together. When they run into each other as adults, those worlds don’t keep them apart. But when misunderstandings, distrust, hurt nearly ruin their marriage, can they find it in themselves to fix what’s broken or are the obstacles just too numerous to overcome?

First, let’s talk characters. In the beginning of this book, I can’t say I particularly liked Libby or Greyson. Neither one was bad, but they were both immature and very certain they were both right in their perceptions of each other and of the world around them. But what I loved? The journey this story took me on as they each matured and changed and evolved. And the best part? Neither one changed for the other. Both of them recognized as time went on that they didn’t know and understand themselves––or each other––quite as well as they once thought. Once they were away from prior influences, both characters grew and flourished in ways they never would have thought possible had they stayed where their marriage began.

NICUnurse’s Rating: I have to give Ms. Anders big kudos for writing this book and the other book in the series, More Than Anything, the way that she did. The story timelines literally fall on top of one another. That is NOT an easy thing to do. So while I haven’t read book 1 in this series to compare timelines, it seems like it’s well done in this book, at least. There were times where I did get frustrated that the push and pull between Libby and Greyson seemed to drag on, and as he grew and matured, I was definitely more Team Greyson because Libby just seemed so selfish in all her relationships for so much longer. Maybe it was a defense mechanism in her character after all that had been done to her, or maybe the author really did want her to be that selfish. All in all, this was a good read. I give Nothing But This by Natasha Anders 4 out of 5 stars!

Infelizmente esse livro não foi pra mim. Não consegui me conectar com a história e nem os personagens .

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.

This story was exhausting. I love when a guy has to grovel, but when it’s for 90% of the book, that’s rough. I will say that the story is very well written, but admittedly, I almost gave up on it a few times. The chemistry between Greyson and Olivia is what kept it alive for me. Overall though, this was a very frustrating book. In the beginning, I couldn’t believe how incredibly stupid these two people were. A single conversation could have easily made all their problems go away. Of course, there would be no story, but in this case I’d be okay with that.

Natasha Anders mostly writes heroes that are almost unforgivable.. and then you do forgive them. The same in this book. Libby has always been best friends with one brother, but then marries the other. Greyson surprises her with a marriage proposal after a steamy night together and she accepts. Only to find their marriage seems to be on the rocks just after the birth of their daughter. What happened?

I thought the story a bit strange sometimes. The sudden marriage, the reason Greyson leaves. I do liked the way they found their way back together and how Greyson redeemed himself. He was so different than anyone thought him to be. I must say I never really warmed to Libby.

Overall a good 3,75*

I requested an ARC via Netgalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Nothing But This is the second book in the Broken Pieces series and I totally missed the first book. But, I’m going back to read it since this really made me want to read it. Anders must have worked really hard on these two books because a great deal of the action happens along the same timeline and it can’t have been easy to make sure it all meshed properly.

Still, Nothing But This is definitely an Anders book and is strongly reminiscent of A Husband’s Regret. I liked it in part because we get to see some familiar faces from previous books in others series. It made for a bit of a cozy place to settle as a reader.

Still, the dynamics between Greyson and Libby are difficult because there is so much pain and struggle. And, that pain and struggle are not confined to them. It is also found in Harris and Tina, whose book came first but we see that mess here as well – shared timelines.

In these books, groveling is hugely important, and it’s pretty clear that the brothers have taken some lessons in groveling from other Anders men. Greyson is super cute trying to demonstrate that he can be a good husband, father, and provider despite never having had to do anything himself before. He’s adorable admitting he got help as he tries to accomplish “simple” household fixes.

Themes of family and forgiveness fill Anders’ books and this one is no different. Though, hello, can we have Chris’s story please! I love his restaurant and I am so ready for him to get his own book.

If you love broken marriage romances that include lots of groveling, you’re going to absolutely love this one!

This time around we get all the deep down and dirty details of what exactly happened between this broken couple. There’s no denying that Greyson acted in a manner that could be unforgivable (no cheating). But as the story unfolds, we learn so many things about the man. He’s a loner even among his family and the very essence of who he is has led to insecurities which led to unforgivable actions. Fortunately, he’s able to get his head out of his rear and pursue Libby with plenty of groveling along the way.

Libby has her own lessons to learn, despite the fact that she was the one who paid the price for Greyson’s beliefs and actions. With so many layers to this relationship, there isn’t an insta-fix. “I love you” doesn’t heal everything and “I’m sorry” isn’t even close to being adequate. Actions speak louder than words, and sometimes it’s making yourself completely vulnerable and accepting the inevitable before closure can be found…in the most heartbreaking way.

”But he didn’t quite know how to say sorry for something so completely unforgivable. And God knew if he couldn’t apologize to his brother, he didn’t stand a chance in hell with Olivia, because she deserved more than apologies. She deserved nothing less than to have him standing in front of her barefoot on broken glass, begging for her forgiveness. And ever that wasn’t enough.”

Even while we have some extremely steamy scenes between Greyson and Libby, there is never the feeling that everything is going to work out. Greyson won me over by his constant need to make amends. Along the way, he finds a new Greyson, a more relaxed, carefree and loving man who is willing to do anything to find a way into Libby and Clara’s life. He knows he doesn’t deserve forgiveness, he can’t even forgive himself, and he realizes there are no words in the human language to ask for forgiveness. My heart hurt so badly for him! For a hero who had done the unthinkable, I found myself cheering for him. I didn’t expect that to happen!

”I love you, Clara,” he whispered and kissed her soft cheek, his nose nuzzling the powder-scented silky black curls at her temple. “I love you so much. And I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you. Daddy’s so sorry.”

This is a super angsty read laced with some of the sweetest, swooniest moments between father and baby girl. Moving from some lowest of lows to sweetest of highs, I was engrossed in every faucet of this couple’s struggle to come to terms with their past, their present, and what their future would look like.

We met and got to know some of what was happening with Greyson and Libby in book one but there’s more than enough information included here that it’s not necessary to read it beforehand if you haven’t already. Although I highly recommend it because it’s just so good!

This is an amazing married/second chance romance that will capture your heart and squeeze it dry before soothing it with a believable reconciliation and the sweetest of sweet epilogue.

I received an ARC from Netgalley and I am happy to give my honest review.

I have read a few other books from this author and I really have to her in the mood of angst and groveling. This one started out well. Libby and Greysen have known each other since childhood and she’s always had a big crush on him. He breaks her heart as a teenager by calling her a stalker. He’s broody and quiet and kind of a jerk.

Years later they meet again at a party and fall into bed. She’s a 26 year old virgin, which isn’t usually my dig. He starts proposing marriage. Like a lot. He wears her down. They get married and it’s tons is sex sex sex. Then she gets pregnant and he’s flabbergasted. He can’t have kids so she must have cheated.

Baby is born. He accuses her of cheating. She leaves him and he takes to drinking. Four months go by and she gets her life in order. He decides to get his wife back and moves to her town. Suspend belief here that he can just up and leave, working remotely and stuff. She doesn’t want him there. He decides he wants to be a dad.

I love a good grovel and especially love characters that are already married. I could see both sides of these characters. He kept his alleged infertility from her and she alienated her husband to be friends with his brother.

One thing I like about this book is it wasn’t an easy fix. They had some serious talking and decision making to do. One thing I didn’t like about this book was the emphasis on the side characters. I know her friend Tina was from the 1st book in the series but I didn’t really care to get to know the babysitter’s relationship to the sports store owner or the pediatrician and the self defense teacher.

Overall 4 stars. Not my favorite of Anders books but good enough to keep me entertained.

Nothing But This is a quick read about heartbreak and trying to forgive - even though you been in love with that person forever. Libby and Greyson have an unusual relationship - they've know each other for years and all of the sudden their lives change when they quickly decide to get married.
Libby has been in love with Greyson since she was a young teen. Greyso
n, who was older, didn't like the school-girl crush she had on him and quickly dismissed her over the years. But when she got older, he couldn't help but notice the beautiful, grown-up Libby. Their relationship was fast - married so fast. Libby thought life with a new baby couldn't be more perfect for their relationship. But she never realized how cold Greyson could be towards her and their child. As you know, he immediately blames Libby for cheating and not claiming the child as his.

I have to say Greyson was an absolute jerk through this entire. He jumps to conclusion without talking and honestly, what he did was unforgettable. Personally, I could not find one redeeming quality about his character. And I'm glad Libby stood her ground when he tried to come crawling back.

Overall, I did enjoy the book and the dynamic between Greyson and Clara was sweet and cute. A great weekend read!

This is my first ARC from Natasha Anders. I've read The Unwanted Wife years ago and I liked it, so here we are...

This is Greyson's and Olivia's story. From what I understand Tina and Harris also have their own book... This is definitely not an easy read. It's angsty, emotional and some bits of it were frustrating.

It took me days to finish this because... to be honest Olivia and Greyson along with Tina were exasperating. I get that what happened can't be easily forgotten and if it were me, I would probably do the same. But I felt like there was just too much pushing and pulling, and highs and lows between the couple. And somewhere through reading the story, I felt like I was stuck inside the dryer—spinning. It was like watching Days of Our Lives. It's definitely a slow-burn but it picked up around the middle.

Overall, I still enjoyed the book. It teaches you about empathy, to not give up hastily and to fight for what/who you love. And that everything worth having takes a lot of work.

4-Stars
Book 2 of the Broken Pieces Standalone Series - although you don't need to read the first book, I recommend that you do to fully enjoy Greyson and Olivia's story.

This book hurt in the best way, like my heart was hurting so much for these characters. Natasha Ander's can write some really angsty-romances, and this one was no different.

We met these characters in More Than Anything, Tina and Harris's story (Greyson's brother). Although that book had our hearts pumping, nothing could have prepared me for the level of sadness I felt while watching Olivia and Greyson's marriage collapse. Olivia was a tough as nails heroine, definitely no doormat and I loved her strength.

Now if you're a fan of Natasha Ander's like myself, then you know that this author produces the best grovels - it's true and I can totally toss you some title names to back up that claim. Greyson's grovel did not disappoint. Nothing makes me happier than a heroine who can stand strong at the first sign of remorse from the hero. Olivia made Greyson work for her forgiveness through actions and not words - I loved that.

There was no "I'm sorry" and she melted for him and all was forgiven. There was none of the hero bulldozing the heroine to let it go and then they lived happily ever after.
No, not in these pages.

I definitely recommend this to all of my book buddies who love a romance of a marriage in trouble and good grovels.

I really can’t get into this book. I’ve picked it up and put it down all week. I guess I feel like I don’t know them or their relationship before it went bad for me to be invested in them after when he comes back to do the groveling. I’d liked to have had more time developing their connection than be thrown into them apart. Better luck next time for me I guess.

This is the first book I've read by this author, and unfortunately it didn't work for me. I found the set up and the characters to be unbelievable and rediculous. It just didn't like either of the mcs.

This was a complex multi-layered love story. It was a story of growth, fear, friendship, family, and so much more. How one man’s imagination ran away from him into the dark depths where his demons took his good sense.
We are looking at the life of Greyson a serious man by nature. He was born serious as his twin brother and his childhood acquaintance used to tease him. Even as a child it was his twin who was the chance taker, the loud one, and the outgoing one. Harris always did their bidding. But as they got older it became the good cop bad cop situations. Greyson, as you may have guessed, was, the heavy.
Now, the boys come from a very wealthy family and employed in their service was a couple with a daughter, Olivia (Libby). She was much younger than them, by four years. By it didn’t stop Harris and her from being best buds.
Libby adored Harris. They were best friends and he treated her like the sister they never had. Greyson was always on the sidelines watching never quite knowing where and how to fit in. So, in the end, he would go off by himself. Then, one day Libby’s heart fell for Grey. She followed him everywhere. At fourteen, however, he all of a sudden told her enough she was no longer to follow him. She was heartbroken. Never did it again, she avoided him at all cost.
When Grey came home from college, that first summer after being away. He caught sight of Libby in the kitchen with her parents. She was now sixteen and in those two years she had grown is to a gorgeous young lady. It had blown him away. She had blossomed into a beauty and he felt awful for turning her away those two years ago.
He knew now it was the right thing to do. He had to stay far away from her while at home because his thoughts were not pure ones and she was far too young. He wanted her more than he could say. So, he knew he had to keep track of her. In hopes of one day having his chance to be her one.
Now, her parents were finally retired, she had completed college, and was well on her way to a booming career. He found out she would be at a party, so he figured it was a perfect time to run into her. Although, things became hot and heavy fast. Libby is so happy with the way things have come together with her and Grey. She has no clue of the bumpy ride they are about to encounter.
When trust issues that are only imagined lead to betrayal there’s no hope of salvaging this relationship or is there?
See how Grey and Libby navigate this bumpy ride in order for the child on the way. I give this: 5++++ stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.

Let me start off by saying this is the first book I have read by this author.
And it was amazing!
This story had my attention from start to finish. I will admit I didn't think I would be able to forgive Greyson for what he did. I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy this book. I thought it would be empty. That I would think he was an a hole and she was an idiot who forgave him.
Nope.... I was wrong.
Olivia (Libby) and Greyson take on such a long journey which was well written by this author.
This book is real life. I can truly see something like this happening and someone gaining something from reading it.
The moral of this story is forgiveness.
Could you forgive if it was your situation???

Harris and Tine were wonderful supporting characters.

This story has a HEA with a wonderful epilogue.
I HIGHLY recommend this one!

This is book 2 in this series and was read on its own with no issues.

The beginning of this book had me reeling with whiplash over the speed and, frankly, unbelievable behavior of the main characters. Libby sees her childhood crush, Greyson, at a party after he's been away. He beckons her, she follows like a lost puppy, they end up in a hotel room where he finds out she's still a virgin. He's acting really cold toward her (aside from the sex), realizes the condom broke and proposes marriage (not because of the potential pregnancy, mind you, but because of the amazing sex with this inexperienced girl). Fast forward a year, to the first chapter, and Greyson is absolutely hateful toward his wife Libby right after she gives birth, because he assumes the baby must be his brothers' since he assumes he is infertile beyond a shadow of a doubt because a doctor once told him it would be a possibility. Oh, and he pushed marriage on Libby without disclosing that he thought he could not have kids. All this is, of course, so absurd that it's resolved right away. The rest of the book is about deep regret, some stalking, and then groveling for forgiveness. Where you stand on this book, will depend on how you feel about initial premise. Are Greyson's actions horrible, but ultimately forgivable with the right amount of groveling? For me, it was too much to get past.

Oh I struggled with this one! I read the first book and wasn't a fan of Libby but figured there needed to be more to her story than what it seemed.

Libby has been following after Greyson since she was a kid, despite the fact he always held her at arms length. So when the two of them finally see each other again as adults, it's all on. After a whirlwind romance, they get married and have a baby. Only Greyson isn't the self-assured person he portrays to the world, and things start to crumble when he accuses Libby of something she would never do. Libby takes off, devastated but determined to start over while Greyson is left reeling when he discovers the truth.

What I loved was that Greyson wasn't the typical, horrible male who treats the heroine horribly for 95% of the book, does a complete 180 at the end and all is forgiven. Nope. After wallowing in self-pity, he finally gets his head out of his arse and goes after what his family to get them back. He grovelled oh so well and I was happy to see that he wasn't going to give up. But Libby frustrated me. I don't know if it's because of how I saw her behaviour toward her best friend as selfish, but I had a hard time connecting to her character. Still, I was glad when she finally allowed herself to let him back into her heart. And that scene at the hospital with his wedding ring, got me right in the feels :)

If you're a fan of second chance romance, this could definitely be the one for you.
