Definitely hooked on the teaser alone! I've been recommended Clayborn's titles before and I've got her Luck series on my to-read list so that will for sure keep me occupied until this one comes out. The concept is so fresh and unique and Clayborn's voice is distinct and engaging.

Bummed this was only a teaser however what I did read has intrigued me. Can't wait for the whole book!

Well, that excerpt hooked me! I can't wait to get my hands on the finished book. The main male character gave me Darcy vibes and I love that the main female character has a creative career. From their banter, I feel like this is gearing up to be a very entertaining read.

I was unaware that partial books or samples could be put on Netgalley for request, so like other reviewers, I was surprised when this one showed up and was just a single chapter.
That said, this chapter didn’t disappoint! As someone who dabbles in handlettering and modern calligraphy and hasn’t met a bullet journal she didn’t love, I super enjoyed being dropped into the world of a professional handcrafter. There are enough questions seeded into this single chapter to make it a page-turner, and Kate Clayborn’s writing voice, which I so enjoyed in her Luck trilogy, jumps off the page with its fresh intelligence.
Without anything more to judge it on—or even a cover photo as part of the digital sample—I can’t promote this book on my blog. But I can’t wait to gobble up the full book when it becomes available, and look forward to recommending it to others then!

I was really disappointed to realise that this was an excerpt as the premise is terrific. That said, I am suitably intrigued that I am now looking forward to New Year and the pending release date!

What a teaser! I can't wait to read the book! I love the concept of the protagonist being a calligrapher.

I liked what I read and it made me crave for more. I look forward to reading the whole book.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

14 page excerpt..major tease. Ughh..I want to read this now.
I definitely want the whole book. Bring it on!

I only read the excerpt and I am FULL-ON OBSESSED. That first chapter felt like total stationary/lettering porn and holy shit! I loved it! I can't wait for more of these two characters.

I loved the language and the premise of what promises to be a sweet read. Can't wait to read the book.

I love Kate Clayborn’s books. I was sad when I realized this was an excerpt and not the full book. Excerpts are difficult for me to review. This chapter is lovely and I would like to read the rest of the book.

First off, I'd like to thank Net Gallery and Kensington Publishing for given me the chance to read the first chapter of LOVE LETTERING by Kate Clayborn.
I am hooked. I am so upset that this was only the first chapter, but I am looking forward to the rest of the book! I tried to explain the book to my mom and she too wants to know what Meg had put into the wedding program. I need to know. I cannot go on with life without knowing.... okay maybe that was an exaggeration but I cannot wait to see what comes next between Meg and Reid.

I only read the 1st chapter, as it was only what was available but I loved it. I can't wait for the rest of the book to be available so I can know what happens next.

I’m torn between elation at what this blurb held and despair that I have to wait so long to read the entire book. Perhaps it would have been easier not knowing what magic lay just out of reach?
Clayborn has outdone herself. Poetic writing. Flawless premise. Beauty and sadness and anticipation in just this little slice of the book.
Can’t wait for more.

Loving this excerpt so far and can’t wait to read the full version! It’s just what I’ve loved about all of Kate Clayborn’s books – so much sweetness and fun.

I would have waited to request this if I'd realized it was only an excerpt--which is admittedly my own fault for automatically hitting the request button as soon I saw the author's name without reading further!--or that it wouldn't be available in .epub, because I also had some technical difficulties with the file. But as far as the content, I enjoyed the partial and would love to be able to review the rest when it's ready (especially if it will be available in .epub then).
Note: I don't want to leave a star rating yet either since I would never normally rate an entire book based on an excerpt, but NetGalley insists, so I'm going with a baseline "I liked it" 3 stars for now. My ratings for this author's past books would probably average to more like 3.5-4 stars, though, and if that trend continues the full book could certainly end up being a 4 or higher.

Great teaser for this upcoming release! Loved the witty and descriptive writing in bringing to life the lettering, stationery and characters. I can't wait to find out what happens between Meg and Reid, this book's release can't come quickly enough!

What a tease in the best way! Kate Clayborn is a master of tension building. I knew we were going to be left on a cliffhanger as soon as the hero walked into the shop. I can't wait to read the rest of the book. I am going to need to put a font sheet next to me or something though, so I can picture what the heroine is describing.

I loved the excerpt shared on Netgalley, particularly how heroine described the different fonts she lettered and the personality of her clients. I cannot comment on the romantic relationship since the characters had only met at end of excerpt, but I am eager to read more.

I really enjoy the first chapter of Love Lettering and I’m already on the hook! I am so excited to read this novel in its entirety!
