A really nice book about a variety of trees across the globe. You get a look at other information about them and then specifics about the individual tree. A really great book for those who do love trees and have trees specifically in their spiritual practice. Nicely done.

What an amazing and insightful book! I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book and learnt so much more about trees. I love them which drew me to this book in the first place. Now I have begun to fashion my own wand! This is definitely on my to-buy list, a great read!

Whilst we all know that tree's effect our every day life as well as can alter our moods, we very rarely look deeper than that often choosing to destroy rather than nurture believing that we're the pinnacle of intelligence.

Within this title, the reader if given thoughts to question our understanding of the natural world as well as clear thoughts about how through various texts the ancients revered and understood the importance of the natural world around us. Add to this a well written break down of the various trees and their medicinal as well as magical properties and for me, its a book that is well written, has you asking questions and for me is something that is not only though provoking but a chance to get to know the natural world a lot better. Great stuff.

This book is mostly informative. Hence, do not expect many stories; expect bite-sized information about a representative sample size of trees, focusing on their relation to ancient deities and magical properties instead.
That said, I enjoyed the first portion of the book where much is discussed about the trees' place in mythology.

I enjoyed learning about different cultures and how trees are perceived in each one. This was quite an informative read.

Amazing book. Beside it's obvious value as a reference guide this book will offer excellent and simple magical techniques for working with trees in more esoteric ways. As always with this kind of books there are some insights for practitioners of all levels! A book for all people also because information in "dictionary" part is great!

The Ancient Magick of Trees is a interesting book and it has some good information. This was a fascinating book and I learned about some different cultures.

Interesting concept. I enjoyed reading about the different cultures and beliefs. Interesting to note the similarities with numbers and myths around the world. I struggled though to find out about current trees. We have yellow maple and poplars in our yard, but I was not able to identify which they were in the descriptions. I like the idea, and have always liked trees, but for the rest of the book I did not find useful. Would still recommend, but suggest you know your trees more specifically if you want to use it further here.
