This one of the more predictable Love inspired suspense that I have read but it was still enjoyable. And it kept me turning pages.

Undercover Twin had a very unique storyline...twins that didn't know they were twins stumble into each other during a covert operation and when the one who is an FBI agent ends up in critical condition from a gunshot, the other twin ends up taking her sister's undercover position as fake wife to her FBI partner in order to protect her sister....kind of bizarre and I've never read a story like it.

I enjoyed the romance. It was interesting how the romance bloomed from playing fake husband and wife.

All in all, even though things sometimes weren't 100% believable, I did like Undercover Twin overall. I don't know if I'll continue the series, but I'm glad I read this one.

I really tried but I think I am going to take a break from these christian theme books as they are not for me. This is a clean romance and somewhat boring as I just couldn't get into it at all...
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

It has to be a shock finding out you are a twin when you had no clue, but how Audrey finds out is exceptionally shocking. She doesn't just have a twin, she has a kick butt FBI agent twin sister. Not to mention that sister is partnered with a hot FBI agent in an undercover mission that Audrey must take over if there is any chance at success.
I loved that Lee had never considered his partner at all in the way that he instantly viewed Audrey. They looked identical and yet his was romantically drawn to one and not the other. Their mission was a wild ride and I enjoyed it all.
It was a 4/5 for me. I want to know what happens next with her sister!

While UNDERCOVER TWIN leads the readers on an exciting adventure into the inner workings of the mob/exclusive club of villains, the writing is somewhat amateurish. Audrey, the heroine, is described to be a brilliant scientist, and she is at that with ideas on how to get out of jams they found themselves in, but sometimes, her actions and the words she said are so stupid you just want to bash her over the head. Not sure if I want to categorize that as inconsistency in characterization or real life, as we do get stupid when we're placed in situations where we're out of our depth. However, despite her agreement to pose as a couple with Lee, the hero, in their undercover work, she just couldn't seem to remember that she's "undercover" from the moment they're on their way to their destination. Even if she weren't briefed properly, years of watching spy shows should've made her know that and thus should act accordingly. Oh, unless being the stereotypical scientist, she'd rather work in her lab during her downtime.

About Lee, I felt he's too repressed with his feelings/intentions. This being "Love Inspired" category, I don't expect anything more than kisses, but still, he could've, I don't know, be more assertive, especially with regards to the heroine.

"Undercover Twin" by Heather Woodhaven is a great read. This is part of the Twins Separated at Birth series. I look forward to reading the next books in the series.

Audrey Clark finds out that she is actually a twin. She never knew this. Her twin is a FBI agent and is in critical condition. Therefore, Audrey ends up going undercover with her twin's partner. There are some twists and turns along the way!

I really enjoyed this book. Heather Woodhaven is a great romantic suspense writer, and I definitely recommend this book.

I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

Electrical Engineer Audrey Clark wasn't looking for espionage or a covert operation when she stumbled upon her twin sister. Separated at birth they never knew that the other existed, until now.

Audrey's FBI agent sister is shot, and Audrey is swept into her world by pretending to be the sister that she never knew in order to keep her safe. Agent Lee Benson is tasked with keeping Audrey safe in their dangerous game of pretend.

Audrey was raised by academics, as has excelled in the tech sciences, she knows there's more to life than science can explain. Audrey is used to playing things safe, and doesn't like to take risks, but her determination and willingness to see things through in tough situations pays off. She learns that she is braver than she ever thought, as she works alongside Lee to infiltrate the network that is putting their country at risk.

Lee has been working undercover for years, and he's gotten a little too comfortable living the high life, and has never taken his faith seriously until now. He is cool under pressure and skilled at taking calculated risks. He want justice for his friend, and doesn't want to lose this one chance to take down the entire corrupt network.

Overall, an engaging read with a suspenseful high stakes plot. I love how Lee and Audrey must use their wits to survive a deadly game. Highly enjoyable, with great dialogue and intriguing characters. I didn't want to put this one down!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Undercover Twin by Heather Woodhaven. This is my first book by Heather and I enjoyed that she created a very smart and capable female lead. Audrey is an engineer and working on her doctorate. She finds out she has a twin in an unexpected way. They both were adopted and did not realize they had a sister. Audrey replaces her twin, Kendra on an FBI mission and gets teamed up with her partner, Lee. There was a very cute attraction and relationship that builds between Lee and Audrey. Although this is part of the love inspired suspense series there is not much Christian undertones. It’s mostly just them praying. There is a second book coming out for the other twin, Kendra. It’s possible the Christian relationship will further develop in that one.
The author created some fun scenes and it was action packed. Both characters are extremely likable and their relationship was adorable. I liked how the author shows the differences in the twins even though they are identical. The author created situations that used both Lee’s skills from the FBI and Audrey’s skills from her education.
Sexual content kissing only.
Violence someone is trying to kill them throughout the entire book. A couple people die.

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review.

It wasn't until she stumbled upon a secret mission did Audrey found out that not only did she have a sister but a identical twin. After the twin was shot Agent Lee Benson her sisters undercover agent partner now Audrey is taking her sisters place to make sure this taken down that been many years in the making doesn't get shut down, but must risk pretty dangerous situations to help.

I love a good mystery suspense novel. I kept wondering how Audrey could take her sisters place and I couldn't help but wonder when and if she would slip up because after all she isn't a experienced FBI agent. I enjoyed seeing how they worked together to get in and out of situations. Seeing how even if Audrey wasn't experienced FBI agent she knows her stuff in other situations and was able to help in other ways and pick up where Lee might not be able to work out. Overall great book I really enjoyed it.

Loved this book and couldn't wait to see what happens to Audrey.
The author is new to me of course and she has done a wonderful job in keeping my attention. She has even made me snicker too. Twice my husband has asked me what Was so funny so I read so places that were in the book to him. He said he liked it and laughed too.
There is also wonderful action and some twists in the book that I never saw coming.
I can relate to the twin thing. My cousin has two, boy and girl. They're pretty awesome!
The author has written a great plot along with some humor in the book as I've said earlier.

This is a suspenseful, but fun, story that kept me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next to Audrey. I loved the way that she got suddenly and accidentally thrown into the world of being a “spy” and used her intelligence to rescue both she and Lee or figure our their next move. I’m looking forward to reading the next book about Audrey’s twin sister, Kendra. I loved this story and will be glad to read about these characters again.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

"Undercover Twin" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. Audrey was mistaken for her undercover FBI twin--a twin she didn't know that she had. She must take her twin's place, pretending to be a criminal to stop the bad guys that are now a threat to both of them. She's extremely smart when it comes to science and how things work, but she felt like the weaker twin when it came to the undercover work, especially as there wasn't enough time to properly prepare her for the role. It's difficult enough to earn a meeting with the people running a phone network used by criminals because they're under close scrutiny. How would a criminal react to each situation? But an unknown man was also trying to kill Audrey. Agent Lee used his knowledge to help and protect Audrey, but it also took her unique knowledge to save their lives. I loved that he appreciated and cooperated with Audrey when she had the needed solution or had to take the lead.

With one dangerous situation after another, the suspense was high. The main characters were engaging, and I cared about what happened to them. They briefly asked God to help or heal on several occasions. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this exciting novel.
