Hard Body is a fast paced short story about a woman making her fantasies come true and discovering herself in the process. It was a good story, just too quick for my taste.

Ok, this is a really simple book to review. Sharon Lane likes to fantasize having sex with her fire fighter roommate, Case. She doesn’t feel comfortable with her body but when Case Austin finds Sharon pleasuring herself she decides it’s time to show Sharon just how desirable she is.
So that is the whole so-so story. If you like exotic books without a plot this is the one for you. A quick read, probably won’t take you more than 10-15 minutes.

Fast-paced steamy read. Sharon is caught in a compromising position by her sexy roommate Case. Sparks fly when he wants to join in on her fun. Steamy with great characters. I liked it.

This is a heartwarming story as well as being erotic. It was moving to see how a woman’s perspective of her body can make her feel unattractive and undesirable, how a person can convince themselves how horrible they are to look at naked. This is reality and happens constantly in life nowadays.

Renee Roman has written this short story with understanding and thoughtfulness. Turning a woman’s fantasy into reality and helping to change her thoughts and concerns about how she appears to others. Turning a scared and embarrassing situation into one of love, understanding and satisfaction.

Not my normal type of book but I enjoyed it. Sharon was caught by her roommate Case having a little self fun. They take their friendship to another level. Sharon has really body issues but Case won’t have any of it. She really cares for Sharon and tries to prove it to her.

I did not realize that this was a short story when I requested it from NetGalley so I was disappointed at the length. Roman did manage to pack a lot of story into 28 pages when Sharon's crush and roommate, fire fighter Case finally notices her as well. I wish we had gotten more of the story about their longing and glimpses of Case's feelings before this and maybe how the relationship grows but this was a pretty good story.

This was more of a short story.
Very descriptive depiction of a curvy woman caught mid fap by her hard bodied roommate who proceedes to take over and make fantasy a reality.

I downloaded this by accident. It’s not my type of reading. If you like hot sex between 2 females this is the book for you. It’s about Sharon and her feelings related to her roommate Case. Case is a masculine type female, a firefighter, who fulfills all Sharons fantasies.

A very simple scene enacted in a erotic way. My first erotica and it was quite alright. If only I had a proper relationship beginning to this, I would have enjoyed it better. Now it just feels like an episode.

I thought that this was going to be a longer book (don't ask me why, I probably didn't read the description correctly).

That said, I think it was the perfect length for the story. It was hot and steamy, with just a bit of sweet as well.

This was an enjoyable short story and the sex was well written. I liked how one of the leads' body issues was handled. However, some more context to the two leads and their history would have been helpful.

This is an erotic read with a storyline that focuses on sex and more sex. Sharon Lane lacks a positive sense of self. Case Austin, knows who she is and offers to be helpful. Each women can have an uplifting impact on the other and walk away satisfied. Miss the detail and background of Sharon and Case other than being roommates.

This short story from Renee Roman is an excellent quick read filled with really hot sex from page 1. Sharon Lane gets caught by her roommate Case Austin while pleasuring herself. Instead of being shocked or uncomfortable with the site before her, Case shares with Sharon that she had wanted to be with her for a long time. After a night of wonderful sex, Sharon wakes up with the fear that their friendship will come to an end and that Case will see her the way she sees herself, someone who is fat and not confident, someone she would not want to be with. Case goes on to show Sharon that she is exactly who she wants and has wanted for a long time.

I loved the hot sex scenes, which makes this a story I will come back to. The author left the story open at the end and I hope she will turn this into a longer series building on the couples' relationship, maybe looking at their past and how they got to this point. I felt for Sharon, who saw herself in such a negative way. I could relate to this feeling and the author did a great job of building those feelings in a very quick story.

This is just one very, very explicit scene – but damn, it is good.

Sharon Lane and firefighter, Case Austin are roommates. Case walks into Sharon while the latter is in the midst of ‘fantasising’. Case offers to join in.

That is what this piece is written around.

But wait, it is not only detailed description of the two women having sex – there is (unexpectedly) so much more.

Sharon has body image issues and has been body-shamed in different ways in the past. The way Case deals with Sharon about this is beautifully dealt with. Then there is the little fact that both roommates had been fantasising about each other slipped in – which makes us believe that there is a HEA right there on the next page.

This is not a novel or novella. It is barely even a story but the tenderness and heat make it a great read.

Short, sweet and hot. It was a very interesting read, erotic scenes were very skillfully written.If you're a fan of short, erotic form, I highly recommend this novella.

I didn't realize this was a short story, so when things happened right off the bat I was surprised! I enjoyed the premise and would like to know more about these characters. This is my first experience with Renee Roman but reading this makes me want to read her other books. A well written story worth spending a few minutes with.

If you like short and very erotic books this is for you. The story revolves around him only two characters Sharon and Case. Both of the characters are lesbian and they are roommates. Sharon has an body issue problem and feels that the only way she can get any satisfying sex is if she has it herself. When Case walks them on her she immediately joins the action and the fireworks begin.
I gave this book a four star rating because I think it could have been a chapter or two longer and possibly explored the dilemma of Sharon’s body issue. However that being said this book is very well written it is hotter than hot, I just wish they were a little bit more.

This is my first book by this author. I didn't realise at first that it was a short story instead of a full length book.

It was an ok read for a short story. It was not any better or worse than previous short stories that I have read. Sharon and Chase are room mates and Sharon has a crush on Chase who is a sexy firefighter. Shar is embarrassed when she is caught doing naughty things to herself. Then Chase joins in the fun.

Not much background information on either character or much of a story line. If you like short erotic stories and don't have much time to sit and read a full novel, then this book is for you. I will check out this authors longer books before I decide if she is another new author to add to my growing list.

This is a really short read.
I enjoyed this book because I honestly have never read anything like it. I’m so use to m/f never read a f/f book.

Sharon is super self conscious about her body. Her Fantasy Is to be under her sexy butch roommate Case and that becomes reality very quickly. She is trying to be ready to be kick to the curb per usual and Case is trying to show her just how sexy she is and how turned on Sharons body makes her. Case definitely has her ways ;)
