Dark Betrayal is a book that is easily relatable for a large portion of women, unfortunately. This book will be triggering for some victims of abuse. This isn't for the faint of heart. But it is a powerful, raw read. The writing is done beautifully. The story is heartbreaking and difficult to read based on that. But i would definitely recommend this book to others.

Lisa Seidel certainly knows how to grip the attention of her readers and keep it.
What begins as a tale of a young divorced mother of three boys looking for Mr Right to complete the family soon develops into a harrowing tale of domestic violence, emotional and physical abuse, rape and a family torn apart at the very roots as well as testing the mothers faith in God to the limits
Not for the feint hearted but a story that is overwhelming and extremely emotional.
Definitely recommend this book.
