I think I would’ve enjoyed The Bar Code Rebellion more if I had read the first two books in the series. Jumping in at book three left me a bit lost, especially with the worldbuilding and character relationships. There were some interesting ideas especially around surveillance and resistance but I didn’t feel as connected to the story as I wanted to, probably because I missed a lot of the setup. It’s clear there’s a larger arc at play, so I might go back and start from the beginning to see if it clicks better for me.

The Bar Code Prophecy was a book that I would say wasn't as memorable as I had hoped it would be. It honestly didn't hold my attention long enough. I had high hopes for it, but it just wasn't for me.
