Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss is the fifth book in Kim Redford’s Smokin` Hot Cowboys and brings readers a fast-paced tale lead by Ivy and Slade. There’s nothing like a small town, but a struggling honky tonk, an ornery bull and good old fashioned cattle rustling, ensure that every day is packed with more than enough excitement to go around. There were a few corny moments, but overall this was an enjoyable story and will definitely have readers wanting some more of the cast and crew of Wildcat Bluff.

A good read with good character interaction and an engaging storyline. I look forward to reading the others in this series.

I was thinking, The Christmas Bull, would have been a perfect title for this book. I was rooting for Fernando the whole time. Slade's not too bad either. Ivy and him were hot for each other from the first day.

I really enjoyed this author and this book. The characters moved fast in their romance but it was a great country Christmas miracle surprise. Fernando was their Christmas miracle and it made the story so cute even though it involved rustlers and a touch of burnt cookies!

It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
I loved this sweet story, rooted for the characters, and fell in love with the setting.
The plot is well crafted and I appreciated the style of writing.

Insta-love, much inner rambling dialogue, over the top country talk and phrases, and a corny ending, are the highlights of this book. I had to skim in places to get through this story. When going to leave this review, I noticed that the first book in the series was a DNF for me after a chapter or two, so I suspect that KR is not the author for me. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this my voluntary and honest review.

I’ve never read anything by Kim Redford before and quite enjoyed Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss. Ivy Bryant has to step into her sister’s shoes and run their historic honkeytonk. She is not thrilled to move from the city but the arrival of Slade Steele makes the move much more entertaining. Throw in arson, cattle rustling and a bull named Fernando and it makes for an interesting read.
