OMG! This book has the creepiest bad guy I’ve read in a long time turning this romantic suspense into a psychological thriller. I truly adored Rachel. She takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Knox is perfect as the searcher finding home in her arms. Poor Diego I hope he finds his “One” soon. This book is a non-stop thrill ride from the first page to the last.

After a traumatic event when she was a cop, Rachel became a werewolf and is now part of SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team. Unfortunately, she is having severe PTSD flashback episodes that make it hard for her to do her job. Hunters hired by the vampires are trying to kill her kind and when she lets one live during a raid, she questions her judgment. Knox was a hunter but after he is badly wounded he becomes a werewolf and has no idea what to do. Knox convinces Rachel to help him learn to control his wolf and they realize they are soulmates. Lots of action, suspense, and romance make this a great read!

While the author has a great way of explaining why someone turns into a werewolf and the processes of accepting the events. The story its self falls just a little flat an lacks the drive of the others in the series.
The characters are from other books are brought together completing a secondary story line from at least two other books.
The author keeps the story as a stand alone and makes it perfectly easy to read.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of Paige Tyler Wolf Rebel

Another missed night of sleep - so worth it though. I devoured the story over the long weekend. I could not / did not want the story to end. What an emotional / psychological adrenalin ride of a story. For readers of Stephen Kings "IT" clown nightmare story - you will love the Clown aspect of this story. I was glad Rachel was able to forgive Knox for being a hunter. Knox was the one that ultimately saved Rachel from the evil spirt that possessed Rachel's mind. Their love / being the one was the reason they were able to save each other in the end. I don't want to give the story away. Knox saved Rachel from the hunters - by taking a bullet to the leg - thus causing his own transformation to being a werewolf. They have both been stepping around each other for months - through two books before Rachel has had enough and hunts Knox down and confronts him.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of WOLF REBEL (Special Wolf Alpha Team, Book 10) by Paige Tyler in exchange for an honest review. SWAT Officer Rachel Bennett’s thoughts dwell on the hunter she let get away; she keeps smelling leather and gun oil at the same time she gets a creeping sensation that she’s being watched. To further her stress, Rachel’s having increasingly frequent PTSD flashbacks and nightmares about the incident that triggered her werewolf. Rachel knows she needs help, but she’s hesitant to show weakness to the other alphas of her unit.

Knox Lawson ended up in a bad position after he left the Navy SEALs. Knox fell for a story about how a small band of heroes was working to save the world from monsters. Once Knox realized it was the small band of hunters that was made up of monsters, it was too late to escape. When Knox was injured by a fellow hunter in the attack on the SWAT compound, something changed-he was turning into a werewolf. Knox is now seeking out Rachel for her advice and assistance. To support himself, Knox takes a job with a security firm, but if the boss is any measure of the other employees, Knox’s new band of coworkers is also rotten to the core.

Can Knox and Rachel get over the obstacles between them to help each other out? I enjoy this series and liked this book. This tale had an interesting and solid, multi-level plotline. I recommend this series and this book to fans of paranormal romance thrillers.
