My heart broke for the author. I know firsthand what it feels like to lose your fur-baby, and she did an excellent job in this book. Very inspiring indeed.

Dogs Still Know Best Two

Angels Guide their Human Thought, Grief, Learning & Love by Angie Salisbury with Iris Matos is the real story of Angie, her passions for dogs and the terrible loss of both her dogs. The author musn't convince me of the power of love and the existence and presence of our beloved pets passed away. I know that not just pets but also humans are watching over us once dead and maybe with more power than not when they were alive. When my little dog died because a bit old, he appeared to me in dreams. He was peacefully and beautifully running in a field with green grass and he was happy. I dreamt him two times in this way and sometimes when I go somewhere for a walk sounds strange not communicate anymore with him. Walking with a dog in a daily base is an extraordinary discovery.
The author suffered terribly when both of her beloved dogs disappeared, but this pain became reason not just of growth but discoveries, sensorials, emotionals, feeling that her beloved pets were and are still here; because her dogs didn't never abandon her but they are still close to her; they started to appear to her with special signals after their death. A touching account for whoever is in love for dogs and pets in general.

Highly recommended.

I thank NetGalley for this ebook.

I found a lot of comforting advice in this book. Grief is difficult but you can't let it outweigh the love that lives on forever. I think some readers might find their belief systems challenged by some of the content, but that's okay. The overall message of this book is about embracing and celebrating life and the love that lives beyond.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a book for the animal lovers out there, especially if one has lost a member of the pack. I found the transcripts a bit annoying, but apart from that, I really liked the book.

This was just not my kind of book.
I love dogs so there were parts that I enjoyed, but I couldn’t believe the parts about the animals spirits coming to visit her and talking through the other lady
The book was well written and grammatically and spelling good. Just not for me. I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be different

Dogs Still Know Best is a good book for dog lovers. It is the second in the series. I had not read the first book, Dogs Know Best, before reading this one. In fact, I had not even heard about it when I found this one on NetGalley. After reading this book, I wish I had heard of and read the first book in the series before this one, as the author refers to it a lot. It would have helped my understanding and fuller appreciation of this one. In this book, the author provides the reader a glimpse of how her two German Shorthaired Pointers worked into her spiritual journey, opening her heart and soul to receive their gifts, the biggest of which is a new little Pointer puppy named Minnie. The story revolves around her love of all the dogs, receiving and appreciating the gifts of love and closeness they offer. The ride is a bit shaky here and there, but she relies on and gets a whole new cheering section with the dogs. The lessons it teaches us all, whether dog owner/lover or not, are endless and can help anyone and everyone revel in the friendship and love all canines bring us, regardless of whether owner, just lover or both. The book is short and sweet but filled with wonderful moments of remembrance and love by the dogs that became really part of the author’s life. This is a wonderful, must-read book for all dog lovers and owners (regardless how they feel toward their canines) everywhere. I received this form NetGalley to read and review.
