I didn't really enjoy this I have to say. The prose wasn't warm enough for my tastes and I wasn't hooked on any of the characters or plot either.

Patrick Finegan shows a talent for description and realistic storytelling in Cooperative Lives — an enjoyable literary title.

Usually this kind of book grabs me and immerses me in the many lives and situations, but I found it difficult and wordy, and far too long. Not for me.

Wish I liked this more. Not a favorite.
