This was a quick but good read. A little suspense, mystery, and heat made a good combination without dragging everything out. Though this is a second chance- and we all know how much I hate second chance- it’s done in a tasteful, completely not angsty way. Which I appreciated very much. Decent start to a new series.

An all new trilogy by one of my favorite authors has begun in a big way and I am already hooked and dying for the rest of this series. Katie Reus has been one of my favorites for a long time and once she ended her last contemporary series I was a little bit sad, but I knew there was a bright light on the horizon with this new series coming our way. The series revolves around the Bishop siblings, three amazingly unique and interesting people all in their own way, but begins with the youngest and only girl Evangeline 'Evie' Bishop. Evie is dealing with a lot in the present, but when her past comes back to haunt her and she is faced with having to turn to the only man she has ever loved and the one man she hurt the most for help, Evie knows she is in for a rough road. Dylan Blackwood thought he was over his pain from losing Evie and his anger at the way she shattered his heart when she left, but when she appears on his doorstep in need of his assistance he discovers he has been lying to himself all along. Now both Dylan and Evie are wrapped up in a deadly hunt for the person trying to kill Evie and her former teammates and at the same time Evie and Dylan are forced to come to terms with their past and find a way to deal with one another in the present. Evie never stopped loving Dylan, but she knows when the truth of the first time they were together comes out he will turn from her and she will truly lose him forever. Can they find a way to forgive and have a future, before the enemy comes out of the shadows and truly destroys their one chance for a happy future? I LOVED every second of getting to know Evie and Dylan, even if I had to reach for the tissues way too many times. I knew this wasn’t going to be a story full of happy fluff, but my gods the feels and fears in this one could have sent anyone into a tailspin. Evie was the type of woman that I have always aspired to be, finding her way to protecting not only those she loves, but the world as a whole and doing what needs to be done even if she has to sacrifice her own happiness to do it. Her wit and intelligence, strength and bravery, not to mention badassness and ability to bring down a traitor are way cool. Dylan was such a sexy guy that I found myself using those same tissues to catch drool a couple times, but his sweetness and willingness to stand strong for his friends and loved-ones is beyond reproach. I loved seeing him work with Evie and her team to bring down the bad guy while keeping his woman safe and at the same time being just a little sneaky at bringing Evie back into his life and bed. The heat and passion between Evie and Dylan was so deep and fulfilling that there was way to miss it even when Dylan was trying to pretend he hated Evie, but Evie’s love was such a bright light that you could feel that burn right through the pages. I am dying to find out what happens in the next book and see the male Bishop siblings find their way to (or back to) love and I hope that Evan pulls his head out of his ass soon. Katie has struck gold again and I cannot wait for the rest of the series. Magic as usual Katie!

A new series involving the powerful Bishop family. Evie works for the government as black ops one of her assignments involved getting close to Dylan Blackwood then have to let him go. Now she is back needing his help someone from her previous life is trying to kill her and her teammate Samara. Her life is complicated by her brothers being in serious trouble. She needs Dylan but can they put they’re past behind them. A story that keeps going a pace leads you to want to connect with the characters for this new series. It will make you anticipate the next story.

Evie Bishop worked for CIA and she is back in US soil to find her brothers are in danger. Now, Evie's former partner shows up at her brother's place with gun shot wound. She only had one person she could rely on, Dylan Blackwood. When she shows up with wounded friend at his door step, he didn't hesitate to help her.
Dylan can't believe Evie showed up at her doorstep asking for help. He couldn't turn her away but he wanted to hear her answers why she left him. He was her lover 6 months ago and suddenly she broke up with him and disappeared.
Evie never thought she would fall for Dylan, he is suppose to be her asset but he became more. Now Dylan is only person she can rely on to help her. Will he help her and forgive her for him being her asset...
As Evie digging into her friend's gun shot, threats getting closer to Evie. Dylan can't let Evie go this time and he will do whatever to protect her and trying for their second chance.
It was quick read and I can't wait to read the second one. Evie and Dylan was perfect for each other and it was great way to start the series.
I do like reading Katie Reus's series.

This was another great book by Katie Reus!!

The book had action, romance and thrills all the way - it had EVERYTHING I look for in a book!

I thought that the story was very well written and easy to read, the pages just flowed together so well I was over half way through before I knew it and I read the book in one sitting.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, it is another cracking read from Katie Reus and well done to her again!! I cannot wait to see what she releases next - she is one to watch for me now and has firmly put herself at the top of my list of favourite authors too!

In this new series by Katie Reus, the Bishop siblings are the main characters. Evie Bishop is a spy. Or at least, she was. Right now, she’s retired. But can anyone really retire from being a spy? One of her teammates comes to her late at night and she’s been shot. She tells Evie someone is gunning for them and they need to hide. Evie only knows one person who’s powerful enough to both help and hide them. Dylan Blackwood, her almost fiance.

Dylan has a doctor on retainer who makes house calls and that means Evie will swallow her pride and show up on his doorstep asking for help. But she knows he’ll demand explanations about why her friend’s been shot, and why she took off after he proposed. But how can she tell him that he was an op?

Dylan has never understood why the love of his life ran away after he proposed. To him, their relationship had been wonderful and he couldn’t imagine her saying no. Having her show up on his doorstep several months later is like a dream come true. He’s not letting her get away again. And this time he’s getting her to spill all her secrets.

Finding out she was in the CIA and isn’t just a socialite wasn’t what he expected. But finding out he was an asset? He didn’t know how to feel about it.

Meanwhile, Evie has a brother who’s in hiding since an op went south and he’s being blamed for it, she has a brother who’s in the hospital who was blown up at his office and refuses to see anyone, even his fiancee. MS. Reus has set up a very exciting trilogy for us!

Watching Evie learn to trust Dylan with her secrets, and watching Dylan learn to trust this new Evie was a treat. I really love tropes like this where one character betrayed another and has to work for their relationship.

The Endgame Trilogy is off to a great start and we also see some familiar faces from the Red Stone Security series as cameos. I can’t wait to see which sibling is next and where Ms. Reus takes us from there!

Loved, loved this book and its characters. There is something about a woman who kick butt just as good or better than her man and this one is full of them! From nonstop action to romance to suspense and question of who done it has you constantly engaged in the story.

The single item that I ended up taking a star away from was because I felt like I was missing something, specifically that we had been introduced to these characters somewhere else and I was coming late to the story. It mentioned a connection to Red Stone security so I don't know it was there or not but is someone knows please let me know. Otherwise this book was on it!

Evie is CIA, and Dylan is her mark so she can meet a suspect. She does t expect the complication of falling for him, or him falling for her.

Evie’s brothers are involved in a mess, one that presumably leads to the next two books in the series this is a good book, one that will keep the reader reading far too late into the evening hours.

A new series by Katie Reus! This is the first book about the Bishop family, It starts with Evie Bishop who was a CIA operative. when she finds her life in chaos and people she knows and cares about are getting shot, killed and framed she turns to her ex boyfriend the one man that she loves left, to help her protect them. Dylan doesn't know if he can ever trust her again with his heart but will do what he can to help her find out if the problems are from a past operation or something more. Great story line with plenty of suspense and action with romance in the mix to make a well rounded book. So looking forward to reading the next in the series but hate that I have to wait!!

Eve Bishop turned down the proposal of Dylan Blackwood months ago. She is now running from someone or someone’s who are trying to put an end to her. She turns to the one person who she knows she can trust Dylan. Her problem is she does not know if he will take her in with her friend that is shot, or if he will take in her at all. He is a billionaire and her walking away without a word. What will he think when she tells him she works for the CIA and she was initially to use him as someone to get close to another person because of his connections. Little did she know that their families had been together when they were younger and that he would remember her from when she was a teen? Now seeing her and letting her back into his home he does not want to let her go and does all he can to help her. He even hides her and looks to help find the person or persons after them. He does not like when she comes clean about everything but he knows he still loves her. Does she love him? Read this fast-paced full of action story to find out. A very good book.

I enjoyed this story from page one to the end. Evie and Dylan have great chemistry and were so good together that you couldn't help but root for them. The interaction between Evie and Samara made me laugh out loud, they were so fun together, it made a tense and chaotic situation bearable. The story has everything I like which including action, suspense, steam and support characters that make the story that much more interesting. This was a great first story in the Trilogy

This is an intense second chance romance love story. After her friend is shot the only person Evie can turn on is her former lover Dylan. Evie's life is in a complete mess so seeing Dylan is hard for her especially because she was undercover and really fell in love with him. She is scared to tell him the truth because she knows that it will not end well. Dylan is happy to see Evi again and is starting to see a whole new side of her. Will he forgive her when he finds the truth? A quick spy love story that keeps you on your toes with a little bit of family drama and a second chance for love.

A new series. A new thrill of a read. A new height of intensity. And Katie Reus again delivers another scintillating story of betrayal, pain and second chances.

Being a covert operative is never easy on a person, and getting out of it is never an end as well. Evie Bishop knows this very well as an assassin from her past is threatening everyone, and her family is going through a crisis. The only person who can help her is her past love, Dylan Blackwood.

Dylan needs to put aside his past hurt and protect Evie with his last breath, and in the process, there may be a second chance of love and a future.

A must read!

Dylan was in love with Evie, but when he tried to make things permanent, she left. She loved him too, but she had so many secrets that she knew he couldn't possibly truly love the real her. She left him for his own good, or so she convinced herself. When she ends up moving back to her hometown due to family issues, she avoids Dylan until an emergency leaves her bloody and on his doorstep needing resources only he can provide. It's clear she wasn't what she led him to believe, but can he love this version of her and will he help her?

Katie Reus has been a favorite of mine for years. I really enjoyed this story because Dylan was both smart and sexy. He wasn't a professional protector, but he did whatever was necessary to keep Evie safe. Evie grows throughout the story and realizes how much deaper Dylan is than she gave him credit for. I especially loved the ending. It was perfect for this couple.

In "Bishop's Knight, the 1st book in 'The Endgame trilogy', Evie Bishop and Dylan Blackwood burn up the pages as Evie's past in black ops comes back with a vengeance. Someone is targeting Evie, and others from one of their black ops. Even her brothers, with their past in government operations haven't escaped being targeted. Sexy billionaire Dylan Blackwood has a broken past with Evie when she walked away from his proposal, but with his own military past and love for Evie, he cannot stand by and do nothing. A real page turner with action, suspense, and romance, it is one not to be missed for lovers of the genre and Katie Reus books. Looking forward to reading the next in the series, I would like to thank NetGalley & KR Press LLC for gifting me "Bishop's Knight". My opinion is my own and freely given. 5 Stars!

Wow! I loved this freaking book. We have another great series filled with action, suspense, hot sex, betrayal, a fierce heroine and a sexy ex-marine! Yessssssss!!!! Evie Bishop is a CIA operative who fell in love with her asset, ex-Marine turned Real Estate billionaire Dylan Blackwood. We meet Evie and her crew on a previous undercover operation and find out through a few flashbacks how she got with Dylan and broke his heart. I liked this one more than I thought I would. Most times it's the hero who does the lying and betraying but this time it was all Evie and I felt her pain. We also meet two other Bishop's, Evan, who has been through a traumatic event and Ellis who is on the run. I won't spill anymore beans about them, but I am definitely looking forward to their stories. I enjoyed this one immensely. In the end after some groveling from Evie, Dylan forgives her and they get their HEA.

The Story in 4 Sentences or Less: Evie Bishop is back home after burning out doing black ops work only to find chaos in her family. One brother is in a coma and the other is wanted for murder, to top it off a past operative from an old op shows up on Evie’s door bleeding forcing her to turn to Dylan Blackwood. Dylan still doesn’t know why Evie turned down his proposal and walked out on him so when she shows up asking for help and covered in her friend’s blood he doesn’t hesitate to jump into action. He’s surprised to discover that he may never have known Evie at all and now Dylan wants answers in exchange for his protection.

Like It? Hate it? Love it? Why? Never get between me and a Katie Reus book, especially if it’s a romantic suspense like Bishop’s Knight because I will go WWF on you and then I’ll probably bite you. No lie. I love Reus’ books and the first book in her exciting new series had me in a tizzy!

I love take charge heroines and that’s what Evie Bishop was. She was independent, capable, and confident when it came to her job. She didn’t get a case of TSTL and lose all her training just because Dylan was back in her life. But Evie wasn’t invincible either. She excelled at her job and knew how to handle herself in dangerous situations but when it came to her emotions, specifically her complicated feelings for Dylan she was unsure, vulnerable, and that made her a more well balanced character. As for Dylan, he’s got just the right amount of alpha to be an equal to Evie without tipping over into jerk territory by being threatened by her awesomeness and being overprotective. They made a great professional team and while they had a history that included a bad breakup and secrets, neither one of them let it affect the way they watched each other’s backs in dangerous situations. Classic Reus style and I appreciate that so much because it’s rare in romantic suspense. I don’t like damsels in distress (aka TSTL) and thankfully I can count on this author NOT to write one of those.

Another thing I can count on with this author is a quick, efficient pace, and lots of suspense. Bishop’s Knight doesn’t waste time and hits the ground running. The Bishop family isn’t just some form of social royalty, they’re rough and tumble people with some serious chops for surviving danger. Evie’s brothers aren’t the type to sit on the sidelines and it will be very interesting to see how Evan deals with his physical injuries and how Ellis will clear his name without getting killed. Talk about setting the scenes for the next books.

Click It or Skip It? Click It. I love the idea of three siblings from a prominent social family embroiled in their own life or death situations.
