I have to say that Cole and Sarah's story happens to be my favorite in the entire series so far. They all have been great but this one was just better. This author does such a phenomenal job in her storytelling. You have the developing Romance, the suspense that keeps you at the edge of your seat trying to figure out what's going to happen next, and then the delight of revisiting with the characters from the previous three stories. In my mind that keeps the reader always wanting more from the author towards the next book in the series.

WOW! I am so excited about this series. Claiming Sarah is my first Susan Stoker novel and it won't be my last! This alpha male is all swoony goodness. I can't wait to go back and start from the beginning. Other readers who have read this one have said that you SHOULD read the series in order as characters from previous books make an appearance here. While I can't wholeheartedly agree (this stood on it's own pretty well) I can understand readers wanting to know all the characters involved. If you chose to read this as a stand alone like I did though I think you will still enjoy it!

Claiming Sarah – Susan Stoker

This is the fifth book in the Ace Security series from Susan Stoker and this book is coming out more than a year after Felicity’s story (book #4). This is Cole and Sarah’s story. Cole is co-owner of the local gym and Sarah meets him when she requests self-defense lessons because of a stalker who keeps sending her gifts. That is the simplified version of the story, as I don’t want to give any spoilers away!

If you haven’t read the other 4 books in this series, you will still be able to follow along. I prefer to read series in order but since book 4 came out over a year ago, I couldn’t remember specific details from it. With that being said though, Stoker does a great job of summarizing different plot lines from previous books so you can still follow along in the story. I really enjoy books from Susan Stoker and I really enjoyed this series and I am glad Cole finally got his happy ending.

Claiming his Angel 😇

Sarah seeks out Ace Security after she starts receiving weird gifts at home from a former patient’s son. Telling her they couldn’t do much for her, they advise her to seek out Cole to get some self defence lessons. When she arrives for her lesson, she leaves soon thereafter, after overhearing his conversation with his employee. Cole quickly realises his error and chases after her.

When Cole chases after Sarah, he has no idea that his life is about to change profoundly. When he realises that Sarah has been referred to him by Ace Security he quickly makes amends and secures himself a date😁 He’s determined to lay claim to this woman as he gets to know her more and finds out the type of angel she is💕

I haven’t read any of the previous stories in this series but I’m certainly going to go back and start with Grace. Thank you to Netgalley, Sarah and the publisher for my advanced copy for which I voluntarily leave my honest review❣️

Very solid story. I hadn't read the other standalones in this story before this one but I never felt lost. This story had great characters and suspense. As much as I enjoyed it I struggled with the fact that I knew how the story was going to play out from the beginning. There wasn't much surprise there. The relationship between the characters happened fast. I did enjoy the fact that the Hero was a little over the top in caveman ways and made no qualms with how he saw the future. Nothing was stopping him from getting his happily ever after and creating a family.

This is definitely a book for the reader that enjoys an instant connection and what comes from saying no to condoms in books. I will have to look for more from this author in the future.

Claiming Sarah is the 5th book in the Ace Security series. The story features Sarah, a woman seeking self defense lessons to protect herself against a man she believes is stalking her and could possibly hurt her.
Cole is the owner of Rock-Hard gym and self defense instructor. Feeling overwhelmed, he rudely shrugs Sarah off and thus begins the adventure.

Personally, I didn't like Cole. I found him extremely high handed and possessed many of the qualities I would give to a stalker. When we finally meet said stalker, you can't help but feel sorry for him and his situation. I think the author did a fantastic job handling this type of issue, but I couldn't get past Cole's behavior.

The relationship in this book moved EXTREMELY fast. It was lust at first sight and kept quickly rolling on from there.

Because I haven't read the other relationships in this series, I would definitely consider it. I couldn't personally connect with Cole's way of loving, but the women and men in this story seem very likeable and I'm curious of what/how they came together. There are a few plot spoilers in this book of previous stories but, they don't spoil it enough to read the series out of order.

The other books of this series are:
1. Claiming Grace
2. Claiming Alexis
3. Claiming Bailey
4. Claiming Felicity

Favorite quote: "She's an angel in disguise, and we are blessed to call her our daughter."

A special thank you to NetGalley for giving me access to this book.

Well, Susan did it again and wrote another great story that kept my attention from the beginning until the end.
Sarah and Cole were such a sweet couple!
Sarah has an admirer she is scared of and seeked help with the Ace Security team. She was referred to Cole's gym for self-defense classes. She overheard him try to push her to someone else or to have her re-schedule. So she left. And then he chased her down and apologized.
Good thing too since he says she is the best thing that ever happened to him.

I highly recommend this one!

Another great read from Susan Stoker, Claiming Sarah book 5 in the series was very intense.
The chemistry and instant spark between Sarah and Cole made me not want to stop reading. Sarah had a rough start in her early years but became a very loving, kind, woman when she could have been bitter with the tragedies life threw in her path. Even when she was being stalked by a patients son she found compassion and kindness for his actions. I would definitely recommend this book it is action packed and full of excitement.

Wow, what a bad start to a great romance! Sarah is walking out of the gym where she was supposed to have self defense training but hears the instructor trying to get out of the session. From there, Cole apologizes and his life is changed - for the better!

Sometimes it is nice to see a romance progress so quickly and see that instant attraction become "more." The only thing that Sarah continues to deal with is the unwanted gifts which are kind of creepy.

The guys at Ace cannot find Owen to talk to him and I kind of suspected what later happened. You kind of can't hate Owen in the end and yet poor Sarah is in a pretty rough situation. Good thing that Cole promised her that he would search for her and she kept that faith for days!

They finally got their HEA and everything was resolved!

Another hit from Susan Stoker. If you like your alpha males, then you will definitely like this one. It starts off with Cole being a jerk, but he realizes right away that Sarah is special and not only begs her to forgive what she overheard but he goes out of his way to help her. I enjoyed the various unique names that Cole kept giving Sarah’s admirer and when he was laying out all of his perceived faults. Sarah is just a really nice person who can’t be mean/unkind to anyone. The reality is that the world could use more people like this. This was a unique take on having a stalker in that her stalker didn’t mean her any harm but since he is mentally challenged, he did not understand how scared and creeped out he was making Sarah feel. This is a definite read for anyone who wants to know what is in store for Cole and Sarah and of course her own personal stalker, Owen.

Wham Bam Thank you Ma'am romance with characters who fall in love with just one look and fight for what they want a wife and baby.

Cole will be remembered by the those who read her other books in the Ace security series. He is finally getting his romance, mystery woman whom he can save and a little extra in the end.

The story works as because it has built in audience but if this was book one in a new series it would fall flat and leave readers board. Once the romance starts the side story falls away and it becomes the same tings Sarah who is worried things are moving to quickly and Cole who wants to marry and impregnate her right away.

The author uses the current themes of life with Sarah having been adopted by to gay men who die in a tragic event.

Everything felt thrown together with and lacked any real focus.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Montlake Romance the advance copy of Susan Stoker Claiming Sarah.

This is the final book in the Ace Security series but it can definitely be read as a stand alone novel. However, if you're a fan of Susan Stokers books I suggest reading the series in order since the previous characters do appear in this book. As is typical of Stoker's books we have a strong Hero, in this case Cole who initially is a bit of jerk and a Heroine, Sarah, who is in some sort of trouble and or danger. Even though the books are somewhat predictable, each one is different enough from previous ones to keep the reader engaged and eager to get to the promised HEA. And for me that usually means I don't want to put down one of Susan Stoker's books until I've finished it!

CLAIMING SARAH by Susan Stoker. Well, Ms. Stoker has once again captured my heart. I adored both main characters in this tale - Sarah and Cole. Cole, being all tough and rugged, believes himself to not be a good guy. Sarah, the sweetest and nicest person ever, sees beneath his tough exterior. Together they work and are amazing. I enjoyed this tale immensely. The background of Sarah was heartwarming too. Ms. Stoker, of course, creates a villain that keeps the reader on their toes but all is not what it seems. It's been a while since I read a story by Susan Stoker and this one reminded me as to why she is one of my favorite authors. Her heroines are strong, yet a bit vulnerable, and her Heroes are dreamy and the ultimate book boyfriend. This is book 4 of the series and, while not necessary to enjoy this one, I highly recommend all. (received ARC for honest review)

I really enjoyed this one, it was a nice fast read with a decent plot and good pacing and I was really invested in the characters

I have read the previous books in the Ace Security series and I was looking forward to this final book. Claiming Sarah exceeded my expectations! Sarah has been receiving letters and gifts from the son of a former patient which make her uneasy. After the police dismissed her concerns, she contacts Ace Security and is referred to Cole Johnson for self defense training. Although Sarah and Cole get off to a bad start, Cole immediately makes things right. Both are startled by their instant chemistry. After hearing about the odd letters and gifts Sarah has been receiving, he is also concerned for her safety and gets Ace Security more deeply involved. When Sarah disappears, both Cole and the Ace Security team work frantically to find her.

I liked that although Sarah's kidnapper is a developmentally disabled man, he was not made out to be evil. I especially liked the way that the team refocused and redirected their actions when they realized the type of disabled person who had taken Sarah. Ms. Stoker is very careful to demonstrate that Owen, the kidnapper, did not understand the significance of his actions.

Sarah was rescued and she also defused a potentially dangerous situation by helping Owen understand that the rescuers were going to take care of both her and also help him.

Another series I hate to see end, but luckily Susan Stoker has more books in the works,

Claiming Sarah is the last installment of the Ace Security Series. This time Cole thinks he has found the love of his life in Sarah but she has a stalker. Will Cole be able to ultimately save Sarah? Read this book to find out!

OMG I loved this story so much. I have been waiting and waiting for this book to come out. I am really sad it's the last book in the series but it was an amazing end to a great series.

I loved Sarah she was the perfect heroine for Cole Johnson.

Sarah has a been receiving gifts from a man she barely knows. She is not happy and is scared. He has not been threatening her yet but her got is telling her something is not right and she can't just ignore it. So she goes to Ace Security and they suggest self defense lessons at Rock Hard Gym

Cole is one of the owners of Rock Hard Gym and he is the right man for the job. He is happy to train her and wants to get closer to her. Cole trusts Sarah's gut and he wants to protect her.

With help from Ace Security Cole will do whatever it takes to keep Sarah safe.

I can't say enough how much I love Susan Stokers books I read them as soon as I get them and I can't stop reading them until I finish. She writes real characters with flaws and problems and emotions that you get invested in. They feel real and you want to know what happens to them. I have re-read her books to many times to count. I highly recommend this series and this book.

I recieved a ARC of this book from NetGalley and here is my honest review.

This is the last book in the Ace Security series and I highly recommend you read the previous books before reading this one or you may be lost on some of the characters and what happened to them. In this one we get Cole's story-which I know a lot of us were really hoping for! Cole co-owns the gym with his best friend and Sarah has been referred there in order to learn some self defense. She believes she has a stalker but the police are not taking her seriously and she doesn't know what to do or where to turn. Cole is attracted to Sarah and the way she see's the world from the start. He knows that he is the man that can protect her and stand in front of her so she can continue to be the person she is meant to be. But he has to keep her safe in order for them to have their happy ending.

I was so excited when this book was announced and that Cole would get a HEA too! And I absolutely loved this one, almost as much as Alexis's book!! Sarah is this woman who continually see's the good in people and I loved that about her. I loved the snippets you get for her family and her father's, as well as the fact that this was addressed in the first place! I have always loved Cole's character in the previous book's and he just made me love him even more in this book. The way he treat's Sarah and the things that are happening to her just make him that much more lovable. They perfectly compliment each other. I am sad that this series has come to an end but this was the perfect way for it to end. All the character's get their HEA and it leaves you smiling blissfully because of how their stories end up.

I enjoyed this book and thought it took a different approach to the "girl needs help with a stalker" trope. Characters were well developed, but I would have liked to see a bit more of the MC happen before the ultimate drama took place.
