This is a great introduction for anyone wanting to learn how to study the Bible for yourself, Rather than relying on what someone else learned. Nicole takes learning to study slowly by having you learn and apply that knowledge one day at a time. Each day you learn, review and apply. By the time you finish this book, you have a solid beginning foundation on how to study and learn for yourself what God's word is saying, just like our pastors do when they prepare their sermons. I found myself excited to go to the next day and wanted to read it all in one sitting. However, I do think it is better to meditate on what you learn each day and take it in at a slower pace.

You can work through this book at your own pace individually or with a small group. In the back of the book. When you finish this book, you'll want to keep it for reference as you continue studying. This book is a keeper and I will be using it with my small group.

I love how the author simplifies studying God’s word, without dumbing it done. The step by step process makes the 30 days fly by. This is the perfect book for getting you started (or restarted) in diving into your bible on a regular basis.

I am still enjoying this book, but I wanted to go ahead and share some thoughts. This is an excellent companion for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the bible. Mrs. Unice approaches her book in a similar method as I assume she does her seminary students. She mentions teaching seminary in her introduction. But I would like to say, being a seminary student is not necessary for using and understanding the methods she instructs in this book. She gives solid explanations of how to make any passage in the bible easier to understand and to have personal meaning. I am doing it in an accelerated method for the purposes of review, but I would live to have a physical copy after publication to be able to use and annotate. This is a must for new Christian's and seasoned Christians alike. Even pastors and church leaders may benefit.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book. I look forward to purchasing a physical copy.
