Coming into the middle of a series is always a bit bewildering, but the author left enough clues for the puzzle to be figured out. Roman has fallen for Alannah, a girl he has rescued. When she is taken by another player in this drama, Roman and Martin come to an understanding, but that falls apart in the end. And then everything waits to be resolved in the third book in the series.

Very captivating from the beginning, really loved the story and plot lines. Very very sexy, would highly recommend to readers who love the likes of fifty shades of grey! This is the second book of the series but easy to read even if you haven’t finished the first!

This is the second book in the series but I did not read the first one and I was able to follow along. There is one more book after this one and this story ends leaving you wondering what is going to happen next. This story is about two Dominants Roman and Martin and one submissive Lanie. It is about the way they each train her and it is also a story about love. The love Roman and Lanie have for one another. This book contains bdsm scenes but nothing too harsh it basically describes the room with equipment in it and describes her bdsm training. I did not care for Martin, his character was sneaky and I really didn’t like him at the end of the book either. This book is erotica and does contain sex scenes throughout but it doesn’t take away from the story. I would recommend this book to fans of the Author or to those that enjoy erotica with bdsm elements. I was gifted an advanced review copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is not a standalone & there is not a HEA ( hopefully there will be in the last book of the series Taken )

I had a little trouble remembering what had happened in Bought the first book in the series only because it had been a few months since I had read it ....

However , Slaved just did not really do it for me & I am hoping for a better conclusion in the 3rd book - Taken

The story picks up where Lanie has been kidnapped & Roman is searching for her...

In the meantime Lanie is forced into another submissive contract & this one has her life possibly in danger.

I only rated this book 3 Stars as the story line was somewhat repetitive from Book 1 where Lanie’s life continues to be in danger. She is in love with Roman & I almost wanted to shake her as if to say “choose Roman “ or do something about the situation you are in ....

Hoping Book 3 will be better & allow the reader a HEA

I read the first book and it was good. This second book in the series I found it even better. I liked the plot. Not crazy for hot scenes but we know it is erotica so I wont judge here. The only thing was...it was short.
Perhaps book number three is coming soon?

Read it in one sitting. It was short. I was expecting more but it was good. It’s an interesting concept and I would like to see what happens next. Didn’t read the first book but it’s easy to follow what happened.

Alannah doesn’t know what it means to be loved and not controlled until she meets Roman. Will her past truly let her go? Fast-paced read with lots of drama, suspense and twists and turns that keep you glued to your e-reader. I really liked it.

This is the 2nd book of 3 and I do feel I have missed out by not starting with book 1

I would say this might not be to everyone's taste but if you like an intense love story with BDSM elements you will enjoy this
