Harking back to the occupation of France, this mystery is set first as a court room drama following the plea of a not guilty murder charge, with roots in the resistance fighter of France.
Extremely well set at the end of the war, which gives us a glimpse of that era, the people and the horror.
Extremely easy to read book, which keeps one interested to the very last page, until the mystery and court case is solved.
Great writer from the golden age.
