Jane Goodall by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another great book of hers in this series that I am glad I got to enjoy. As an animal lover I heard all about Jane Goodall in school and this will be a fun way to teach children about this role model that stands up for what is right for nature and it’s inhabitants.

Another beautiful addition to this series which I love to read. Gorgeous illustrations accompany Jane Goodall's story too at the perfect level for readers of all ages.

This is a hard one and I really wanted to give it a fantastic review, but I did not like it as much as I wanted to. The writing was short and basic for kids, but it lacked any excitement. The Illustrations got the point across and were cute enough, but they too lacked any excitement. All in all it was just an ok book that I would pick up at the library if I happened to see it.

Another fine installment to the board book biography series by Vegara. Jane Goodall is someone that should be well know, but isn't always taught at an early age. I appreciate the author choosing more obscure people to teach about.

I love the Little People Big Dreams series and use it in my homeschool regularly. I feel that many of the reviews on NetGalley are confusing this book - made for much younger learners (I'm using it to read to my 2 year old) - with the series they are familiar with. They are not the same. I think these books are excellent for introducing a VERY YOUNG learner to a person of influence - I would have used these with my daughter during her PreK time to pique her interest about different people if they'd been around then. We love learning about Jane Goodall and this book is a great starting point.

I’ve come to love the “Little People, Big Dreams” series, and “Jane Goodall” didn’t disappoint either. Beautiful illustrations and the language is simple. Perfect for little readers.

This was okay. I'm not really sure what I think about this series, but the illustrations are better than the other books in the series that i've read.

What a fascinating woman. Jane Goodall is an activist for chimpanzees. This quick book takes us from her love as a child to her passion as an adult. I’m afraid to go into our nearby woods with people, how strong her passion must have been to move into the jungles to study the chimpanzees.

This book is simple, easy to follow and colourful.

I loved this one! !
Not only because of its beautiful illustrations and lovely narrations.
But of the fact of the subtle social and environmental awareness!
Very good for small children to be familiar with that!

If my children were young, I really wouldn’t purchase this book.
Compared to children’s stories years ago this is very poor.

Children have short attention spans, but this is so uneventfully boring I as an adult wasn’t enjoying the sense of it either.

The illustrations are very poor workmanship and not something that appealed to my friends Granddaughter at all.

It sounds harsh, but it needs more body to this .

I've heard loads of good things about the Little People, Big Dreams series and was eager to pick one up, one day. Since I've always wanted to know more about Jane Goodall but never got round to it, so this little book intrigued me - and while I didn't really learn anything new, I liked this book.

The text doesnt rhyme, but it's not an invented story. The illustrations are very colourful, simplyfied but not without detail. Let's say there is enough detail that you can look longer on a page without being bored but not so much tiny things that make the pages seem overwhelming.

Jane's story starts off with her as a little child, which is a good pick-up point to get a child into the story. If you'd started with a student at university or just dropped off into the wilderness, it might not work as well. As a person who was read nonfiction as a child by their father who didn't want to read me fairytales I knew by heart, I love the idea of a series that shows different persons from different fields of work and their life and not just tell the same old story of Galileo.

I look forward to reading more of this series.

I think this is one of the stronger board-book versions of these books that I've read. I'm still not sure why babies and toddlers would want to read biographies, but at least the pictures in this one are fun to look at and aren't too anachronistic (a trait that plagues some of the other titles in this series).

This book gives a very basic overview of Jane Goodall's life and work. I have a feeling I'd like the full version better, but for what it is, this board book is okay.

This wonderful board book bio of the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees captures the imagination and heart. The text is pithy but impactful and the illustrations are beyond charming. Another winner in the Little People, BIG DREAMS series ... one every home, classroom and library should have! 5/5

Another wonderful inspiring book to teach little people another real heroes, legends and inspirational people. These are all well told, beautifully illustrated and wonderful to read together and help raise discussions and teach. Thoroughly recommended for big and little people

I’m so pleased Jane Goodall found her way into this collection of books about ‘little people’ who in growing up realised big dreams.

Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara again pens simple words to capture this simple story of a young girl who grew up to do extraordinary things.

Since this is a book designed for children 4-7 years old it is the start for young readers to learn more and become inspired by true life people.
Subtitled ‘My first Jane Goodall’ you get the impression that many young minds will search for more details about this woman who achieved so much.

Some may say she grew up with a chip on her shoulder.
If you look closer you’ll see it is a chimp.

In celebration of the researcher and scientist who spent time with chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Did much to promote environmental understanding for animals and their endangerment due to constricting habitat.

I have been to the zoo today. I have seen many endangered primates, gibbons and chimpanzees. I was grateful that a young woman realised her childhood dreams and at a time Women did not travel to remote countries had the determination to study her animals at work and play.

Another fine book for children we all need to grasp and learn its message.

Another fantastic book in this wonderful series. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully written and illustrated book.
