I loved this book! I thought it wrapped the series up well while also leaving room for a potential spin-off. It often went in directions I didn't expect and was fast-paced throughout.

I'm really disappointed to say that this series just isn't for me. It feels more childish than Marissa Meyer's other writing, to me, and the characters don't stand out in the same way that the Lunar Chronicles characters did. That series holds such a special place in my heart, and the Renegades trilogy just didn't have the same emotional impact for me. I requested a copy of this book before I tried reading the second book in the trilogy, and I couldn't even finish the second one, it just didn't hold my interest. So I'm giving this one three stars, because I think it will be great for many readers, but it just didn't click with me.

I will always love Marissa Meyer's writing style, though, it's just gorgeous.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Marissa Meyer is one of my favorite young adult authors! This is the epic conclusion of the Renegates Trilogy! I was so sad to see this story end, but it was a satisfying end!

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC, in exchange for an honest review. Whoa! Stunning conclusion, definitely not where I was expecting it to go, or maybe, a part of me was. Good writing does that, stuns you while not leaving you feeling like a total idiot. Meyer has a way of making you love the most insignificant characters and appreciate the smallest detail in world building. Simply outstanding, loved this!

I was only sent the first few chapters, but they blew me away. This book jumps right into the action after the crazy ending of the previous book. And now that I've read the whole thing, I can say that it just keeps going. It had me on the edge of my seat and I never fully guessed what would happen next.

Meyer really created a fantastic world with interesting, powerful characters. I was very satisfied with their ending despite being sad that it was over.

This was SO GOOD! What a phenomenal finale. It was just nonstop action from start to finish. It seriously felt like I was reading an X-Men film. When I picked it up, I didn't want to set it down for a second!

While I was only sent the first few chapters, I was blown away on Marrisa's ability to keep me in suspense. For the past two books, the readers have been watching anxiously as Nova keeps her identity as a villain a secret from the renegades and Adrian. This book picks up directly after the second book's tumultuous finale and brings all those feelings rushing in! It was a wonderful start!

What was sent was only the first few chapters, but we're looking forward to the full novel. Stoked for this book and recommending it to our teens. Marissa Meyer is a great author and she's a standard go to for suggesting to teens.

Wonderfully, fantastic! I absolutely loved Supernova. It kicks off aftermath of Nightmare’s heist and it never lets up. Nova is torn between loyalty to her rag tag family and her new relationship with the Renegades so we see a lot of internal struggle as she tries to follow her heart and sort out what to do.

The book is fast paces, has terrific characters, and is an absolute page turner from start to finish.

4.5 stars

“Some people were always meant to be heroes.
Just like some people were always meant to be villains.”

I really enjoyed the vast majority of this book. Yes, the plot was predictable and I saw it coming a mile away, but at the same time, I was still really invested in these characters. Marissa Meyer is so great at showing the moral greyness of characters in that no one is all good or all bad. Going into this book, you have no idea who the real good guys and the bad guys are.

There was just this one thing... the ending was lame. I won't spoil anything here, but it felt very cheap and like it was tacked on at the end to possibly have a spin off, but it didn't feel like it was a good conclusion, which is why it didn't get a full 5 stars, but overall, I really did enjoy the story. I also really recommend the audiobook for the entire series!

Marissa Meyer's writing from Cinder to this series is phenomenal. Meyer's is able to keep readers captivated throughout the series and leaves constant twist and surprises for readers. Supernova is no exception!

Supernova is everything a final book in a series should provide readers. Nova continues to take readers on the emotional journey of deciding whether her loyalties lie with the Renegades or the Anarchist. Ace Anarchy is in jail thanks to the Sentinel and Nova has to create a new plan to free ace and lead the Anarchist to victory. However, Nova's true identity is on the verge of being exposed and her relationships are starting to come apart due to her endless secrets.

Adrian and the other Prodigies get more character development and we get to see more of their individual personal lives. Unlikely alliances are formed and big reveals happen!

I need more Narcissa in my life!

I confess, I don't do well with chapter samplers, and I thought I would make an exception for something I was as excited about as this one... and it didn't work. BUT! I have since read the entire book, and while I know that makes this review late, I am delighted to say that I loved it. A few things felt a little hand-waved (I just don't think Captain Chromium et al would forgive Nova quite that fast, even if she did prove herself to be on Adrian's side in the end), but a nicely tied up happy ending is what I *want* and even expect from a superhero story, so if the timeline had to speed that up a bit, so be it - I think the character development was spot-on and the plot held together, which is what I wanted. I was all set to say this was a perfect conclusion to an excellent trilogy (which it was) and that I will happily be recommending this one to my multidues of Marvel fans and kids who refuse to read series that aren't finished (which I will) - and then the epilogue happened. And now I need an entire 'nother book about Magpie, please!

A wonderful conclusion to a gripping and fun trilogy! I enjoyed where the story went and there were a number of moments where I thought I had known what was going to happen only to be surprised by interesting twists and turns.

I was not able to open the sampler provided on netgalley, but as soon as the book came out I was reading it. Book 3 was a satisfying ending to the trilogy that left me feeling that rush of finishing a great story line. Nova and Adrian have kept me wanting to read more. Meyer portrays them in a way that makes the reader want to cheer on both sides. ending the story any other way would break my heart.

This was a fantastic ending to this series. Nova's ending was great, redeeming and true revenge given. I am glad that she got to know the true story about her uncle and her parents death. It is interesting that everyone had powers in the end, it'd be interesting to see what happens later. especially given we know who her sister is. i wonder if Meyer will continue to story from her sister's perspective????

4.5- A fantastic ending to a great trilogy... although that epilogue leaves me hoping for another book. Or maybe a spin-off series. The last half of the epilogue my mouth literally hung open in shock. AHHHHH! Please? Can we please have that thing resolved??? I actually wondered earlier when reading if such a thing were possible and I'm a little surprised it didn't cross Nova's mind at all. Not the particular person, but the particular instance. Anyway, I'm not going to tell you what is so shocking... ha! You'll have to read for yourself.

Marissa Meyer has done it again! This series has culminated to this epic conclusion, and she did not disappoint. I can't wait to see what else stems from her devious, amazing mind.

Satisfying conclusion to the series. A little worried toward the end about the relationship - how are they ever going to be okay after all the lying?

I really enjoyed this action packed, intriguing conclusion to Meyer's trilogy. The ending was satisfying, but I would not mind seeing Meyer write a spin off novel that continues the story through one of the other characters. I applaud this author's writing and creativity.

I love Marissa Meyer and the previous books in this series. Supernove went above the expectations I had for this novel. After finishing this book, I was disappointed that the series has come to an end. As you read, you fall in love with the characters and want to continue to live in their world and follow them. Nova will always be one of my favorite characters. This is a great additon to any library that services YA readers.
