The start of this book is exactly what I was looking for in book 2! The stakes are higher, the panic is setting in and battle lines are being drawn. My download only contained the first few chapters but I can tell from those 70 or so pages that this is going to be a wild ride. I liked Renegades and thought Archenemies was pretty meh but the beginning of Supernova definitely made me want to read the rest. I wish this download had contained the rest because I'm itching to read it!!

I absolutely love this series! I am excited for the new one to release so I can finish the whole book. Because this is just the first few pages of the book I don't think it is fair to write a review for the whole book. However, this is a strong start and I'm dying to know what happens!

I am totally loving what I've read so far! I'm hoping it was on purpose rather than a fluke that I only have the first 76 pages of Supernova in this galley, but those 76 pages have been wonderful!

Nova never thought she'd be returning to the Renegades headquarters after the events on the night of the gala, so I'm really enjoying seeing how things go as she continues to try to maintain her cover. Some might say the first few chapters have been kind of slow due to the lack of "superhero/villain action" but I'm really liking the storyline thus far personally. Keep it up Marissa Meyer, I can't wait for the rest of the story!

I am a huge Marissa Meyer fan, but I have not been a big fan of this series. The writing which is usually so well done and creates a story that moves along seems slow and weighed down in these books. Part of me wonders if this would have been better as a duology rather than a trilogy so that the author didn't feel the need to stretch the storyline out so far. I've never found Nova to be a sympathetic character - right from the start her reasoning made no sense and she was extremely hypocritical. The fact that we've gotten through 2 books and no one (especially Adrian) has figured out who she really is seems a bit ridiculous. I'll still read Supernova to see how it all wraps up rather than because I can't wait to see what happens next. I had such high hopes for this series, but it just fell flat for me.

Thank you for the chapter sampler. I am excited to read this book whenever it releases. It is hard to review a sampler, but this does seem like a great start for the conclusion for this series.

HOLY COW! I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL SUPERNOVA COMES OUT! I was over the moon when I found out that Renegades had been extended to a trilogy. Now reading the chapter sampler, I'm even more excited. Nova is one of my favorite antiheroes in recent YA literature. Meyer continues her breathless writing and pace with this wonderful finale starter and I cannot wait to read the rest!

Supernova is one of my most anticipated books of 2019, and I am so incredibly glad that I got my hands on this sample. Even though this did not fully fill the void for the book, it definitely helped to salvage my appetite until November. I was so excited to get back into the world of the renegades, who in my heart feels just like close friends. Marissa Meyer will forever be one of my favorite authors and I will pick up every single book she ever writes. I recommend this series to anyone who loves superheroes and want a new twist on the genre and concept of heroes and villains.

Just as I expected. This chapter sample makes me feign for the rest of the book. I love this series so much and pretty much anything I read from Marissa Meyer!

Marisa Meyer’s final novel in the Renegades trilogy is jammed packed with lies, betrayal, drama, and of course, action! Nova and Adrian are both keeping secrets and anarchy is creeping it’s way back into Gatlin City.

I enjoyed reading this, but was definitely disappointed that it was only a sampler and not the whole book. I think it was a good introduction to the story. Definitely gripped you and made you want to keep reading...which you couldn't because there was only three chapters to read. I would have not requested this if I had known it was a selection and not the full novel.

A nail-biting beginning to the concluding book in the Renegades trilogy. Adrian and Nova continue to keep their super-identities a secret from one another. Nova balances precariously on the verge of everyone discovering who she really is. I am eager to find out how Meyer will wrap-up this final installment.

oh foiled again, another chapter sampler. Someone needs to read descriptions a little more instead of getting all excited and jumping on the please let me get this ARC and read it all! Oh well, I have learned my lesson and I can't wait to read this book in full!

Oh my gosh. The 7 chapter teaser was so good. I can't wait until the rest of the book comes out later this year.

I wish I had paid attention to the fact that this was a chapter sampler but nonetheless.... I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS!!!!!!

This just amped up my excitement for the finale. It gave me a new mystery, more kissing, and a scene with Diana that I’ve been *waiting* for. I feel so silly for waiting so long to read Renegades but I’m so glad that I got to enjoy the first two books back to back. Since this was only a sampler (SAD) I don’t have much to say except I’m still excited for this and will definitely be taking the day off work to read it.

Does not disappoint. This is an all time personal favourite author and an all time school library favourite. Have more than a few students waiting for Nov 4th.

Supernova is the third book in the superheroes series by Marissa Meyer. This is an excerpt containing the first few chapters. The Renegades are in a tizzy, as they have captured Ace Anarchy, but his helmet has been stolen. Max has been severely injured and Nova is desperately trying to keep her hidden identity a secret. What will happen when someone eventually finds out who she really is? Will Adrian still love her? And, can he keep his own secret?

I was so excited to read this excerpt that I was practically buzzing with energy! I so wish that I could read the entire book! I guess I'll just have to wait until the release date. I highly recommend this book, author, and series for anyone who loves a good adventure story.

The Renegades series is one of my favorites and this chapter sampler made me even more impatient for "Supernova." While this isn't a title I would incorporate into my classes, I do always recommend the series to my students as they are major consumers of superhero movies. Can't wait for November!

There is too much time to wait for this book to be released!! Meyer shows how the true inner workings of super heroes exist - the conflict of doing what is right vs doing what you set out to do and how the process may change many times throughout. Meyer makes you fall in love with your characters, both good and bad guys and see the humanity and love in both.

This series makes a great storyline for many classrooms showing inner struggles, vengeance, character development and growth over time and more.

I've been invested in this series (in these characters) since the first day RENEGADES hit shelves. I have the first book in hardcover. I have the second book as an audiobook. And when I saw SUPERNOVA was available on NetGalley, I didn't think twice in clicking that little green button 'request.' However, I didn't know this was a sampler. I'm actually very disappointed it's a sampler. A sampler I'm expected to do a full rating on. It is a few chapters long and it does start off with a bang. I am eager to see what happens next.

I'll give it four stars because I don't think it would be fair for me to give a five-star rating to a sampler.

A lot of our patrons including me are huge fans of the Renegades series and the works of Marissa Meyer. The adventure continues with Nova and Adrian and I do have to say, they saved the best for last. Parts of this book came totally unexpected and just when you thought you had this book figured out, a new twist happens and it changes the entire plot all together. From beginning to end, this book provided an edge of your seat thrill ride that everyone who reads it will enjoy every minute of it. I can't wait to share this book with our teen book club and see their excitement.
