This book will definitely keep you turning the pages it did me I ended up reading this in one sitting. This is a wonderful holiday story that you'll enjoy reading. Naigle gives us a story of love, hope and of course Christmas Magic, her writing makes you feel like you are a part of the Christmas Magic. A sweet story that will definitely get you in the mood for the Christmas Holiday Season. I recommend this book especially if you love romantic holiday stories.

What a fabulous Christmas story! The story was full of hope and working to achieve your dreams. It is about new beginnings while honoring your past. The story was a fun, sweet and quick read.
Liz is a successful strong woman. She happens upon a property that is up for auction that would fullfill her lifelong dream. Little did she know how much her faith in this dream would change her life.
She wins the property and moves to Antler Creek. While there are setbacks, the overall message is one that encourages us to go after our dreams. The story is full of hope and gave me a lot of warm and fuzzies! It's a perfect Christmas story!

How many people dream of taking over something that’s been in their family for years, only to miss that chance? This happened to Liz Westmoreland in regards to her grandparents’ inn, Angels Rest. Her dream has always been to continue her grandparents legacy. When she happened upon the inn on an auction site the day before it was to be sold, she took it as a sign. She had to bid on it sight unseen but amazingly, she had the winning bid! When she got there & realized things were worse than she thought, she had to decide if the dream was worth all the work it would take. As she worked with a local to make the necessary repairs, her grandmother’s angel collection began appearing as if by magic & Liz took that as another sign that this was what she was supposed to do.
Matt Hardy can’t believe he was outbid for the property next door to his house. It was a former inn. It had been gutted when owners thought to make it an art gallery. When he was working at the church, helping with some repairs, Liz came in looking for help & Matt realized she was the young girl of his dreams. He had been at the inn when her grandparents owned it & he had come to visit. As they worked together to renovate the inn, the chemistry between them grew stronger.
This was a very heartwarming Christmasy story. I loved the memories that the inn & the town had Liz remembering. Once the town knew who she was, they gathered around & helped her. They also had their own recollections of her grandparents & the way the inn used to be. Liz was also brought to realize that some of her city friends were really not her true friends. They were out for themselves. The Christmas angels popping up in different places was clearly a sign this was meant to be & a true symbol of Christmas & it’s meaning.

This clean, sweet romance was just the right book to read today. It didn't hurt that there was a dog named Elvis that was just a sweetheart and fit right in with all of the characters and really completed the story. It is a little early to be reading a Christmas book since it is only September, but it was worth the read and I just flew through this book.
Liz lives in Charlotte but is looking for more in her life than her job (that she does well) and the hustle and bustle of a larger town. She has many fond memories of spending time in a small town in the mountains with her grandparents and her dream is to have a home similar to theirs to share with tourists and other potential guests. It is by chance that she receives a postcard and her grandparent's home is up for auction. Fate? Most likely. Liz wins the home and what happens from then out is the crux of our story.
Small towns can be wonderful when it comes to helping each other out and making sure everyone has what they need. They can wreak havoc with the gossip that tends to run rampant, but sometimes that isn't all bad. The town really pulls together in tough times and that is what Liz needs whether she knows it or not!
This story would not be complete without a male hero and in this book it is Matt. He has a lot going for him and thankfully he has a personal interest in Liz which really brings the story full circle. He remembers Liz from when she would be there as a child and was always in awe of her. Now they are both grown up and able to pursue a relationship...that is if Liz can get over her rules about dating co-workers (since Matt is the contractor helping her renovate the lodge) and being hurt in the past.
The story is smooth until near the end when a misunderstanding could ruin everything.

The Hallmark Movie of Christmas novels, very cute romantic read. If you enjoy the slightly cheesy, romantic, (yet predictable) Christmas movies and want to read one in a novel format then this is a good pick. The story follows Liz as she goes back to a place she spent her childhood and looks to reclaim those memories in her own way, of course, she also runs into this tall handsome stranger who can't help but be smitten with her.

A sweet, fast read about a woman who saves up to be able to buy her grandparents’ Appalachian B&B where she spent idyllic childhood summers. She purchases it through an auction, leaves her job, sells her house, hires a contractor and works to make her lifelong dream of re-opening come true. Turns out her contractor has had a crush on her since they were kids.
I enjoyed this heartwarming story of family, community and following your dream.
This is my second Naigle book, and I must say that I enjoyed them both and will probably read more of her in the future.
Thanks to #StMartinsPress and #NetGalley for the ARC. The opinions are strictly my own.

Liz is a very fortunate woman. She has a job she loves. She is responsible for steering businesses during openings of new locations. She is a strong woman who makes certain that things go in a perfect order and with great success. She gets paid very well for her job. She owns her home as well as a new Range Rover. The Range Rover is mentioned frequently.
Before her Thanksgiving break, she accidentally finds an ad for a real estate auction. The list includes a property once owned by her late grandparents. It is a lodge in the mountains of North Carolina. It is in disrepair, but it is Liz's long held dream to own an inn or a lodge and to live the life her beloved grandparents lived. She has been saving her money in order to finally make her dream a reality.
And this is the perfect opportunity. She bids and wins.
When she returns to find that the lodge, Angels' Rest, will need major renovations, she is at first discouraged, but then she finds a man who is skilled and talented and can help her get things done right.
Matt is an architect who has built a home in Antler Creek, but his work is no longer there. He grew up there, and he remembers Liz from his childhood. He had a crush on her then, but she evidently does not recall him. Once he sees her again he cannot get her out of his mind.
When Liz and Matt get together to work on the lodge, she is introduced to life in a small and close knit community. Being accepted as an important part of the town means that at every turn she is met with a welcome which warms her heart. She also finds that every thing which needs to be done to the lodge will be done within her budget. Life is good.
Liz is a bright and caring woman who looks at the world with a smile. Her hard work and willingness to do whatever needs to be done endears her to her new neighbors. It also gives her a strong sense of ownership of her future.
I liked Liz, but at times it appeared her general behavior around Matt was to act as a tease and then turn him away. She recognized his attraction to her and her own attraction to him, but she generally ignored it. I liked her strong sense of focus, but I would have liked it more if she had given true thought to Matt and her feelings for him.
Matt is a really good man. He is willing to help anyone who needs help. He is aware of the feelings of others and very conscious of what it takes to make others happy. His thoughtfulness, sense of humor and kind heart make him a very attractive man. The fact that he has a vision which produces beauty is an even greater quality for me.
I enjoyed this book very much. I loved the small town feel and the true sense of caring which was shown by every character both large and small.
Ms Naigle has created a place which would be a good and welcoming home town. She has given us characters who are complete people. She has also provided a plot which makes the reader want to turn the page to find out what happens next.
The joy and grace of the holidays is evident throughout the story. It provides a feeling as warm as hot chocolate and as shiny as the star at the top of a tree.
I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley. I am voluntarily writing this review and all opinions are completely my own.

I really enjoyed this book! I love the author and enjoy her new stories! I also live that Hallmark makes movies from them!!

What a wonderful, feel-good book. It was such a nice escapist read. Liz, Matt, and the people of Angels Creek are delightful. The book is upbeat and has a happy ending. Matt and Liz each have issues to work out, but they are able to do it with the help of others and the "Angels" that keep showing up around the cabin. If you love Hallmark type movies, you will love this. The story is easy-to-read and kept me turning the pages. I like the characters and the way the story made me feel--hopeful, joyful, and peaceful.

What a great holiday story, just in time for Christmas. If you enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies, you’ll enjoy this story. A perfect contemporary romance for the season. This is my first time to read this author and she did not disappoint me.
I was provided an eBook by the publisher in and all opinion are my own and expressed voluntarily.

This is a lukewarm holiday romance. It is the standard Hallmark Christmas movie type but with characters I don't care about, inconsistent pacing, and a rushed ending.I found myself skimming through most of it.It just didn't work for me.

No better way to start your holiday season than by reading Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle. Liz Westmoreland has always dreamed of one day running her grandparents inn, known as Angel’s Rest. After the completion of her most recent project Liz decides to take some time for herself. While cruising the internet for inns for sale she learns that her grandparents place is up for auction. With little thought Liz decides to go for it. Surprising even herself when she wins. Upon arrival in Antler Creek Liz learns that the place is very run down and in much needed repair. Matt Hardy has always had a soft spot for Angels Rest and the granddaughter of the owners. He is very disappointed when he is unsuccessful in his quest to purchase the place during the auction. He is very excited to learn that Liz is the new owner and has the opportunity to fulfill his childhood, a lifetime of love with Liz. When Liz experiences some second thoughts will Matt and the whole town be able to convince that she is very much on the right path? The Christmas spirit is abundant in this sweet loving story. Will Matt and Liz find their HEA? Read Christmas Angels to get the answer. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, 4 stars****

Loved this book. Great characters, easy read, uplifting, funny, romantic and charming. A really nice story that is the perfect escapist read.

Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle is a quick read and enjoyable for the holidays. The main premise of the book is that everything happens for a reason and in its own time. Liz Westmoreland has lived by this philosophy taught to her by her late grandfather. She is now an adult, lives in North Carolina and works for a company where she is responsible for launching store openings. She takes on the toughest and gets them open on time and within budget. She dreams of opening her own Bed and Breakfast as her memories of times spent at her grandparents’ inn bring back many happy feelings. Angels Rest was most noted for its holiday light displays. She often searches the web for opportunities and learns her grandparents’ inn is up for auction the next day. She decides to take a risk and sends in her bid. After winning she off to see it and finds it is in very bad condition. She meets Matt Hardy, who agrees to be her contractor and they get to work. Will she find more than a new business at Angels Rest? Will she and Matt be able to create the magic she remembers?

"Christmas Angels" by Nancy Naigle is a wonderful, feel good story! It would be the perfect Christmas read. Liz, the main character, is very easy to like and you want her to have a happy ending. Every character adds to the story and the potential is definitely there to have some more books about the other people. This book is heart warming.

What a heart warming story this is! I grew up in a small town where everyone knows each other and their business which can sometimes be a useful thing.
Liz Westmoreland happened to stumble on the auction announcement for the lodge where she spent much of her childhood with her grandparents. She has the winning bid – sight unseen - and takes time off her high powered job to go see what it will take to restore it to what she remembers.
Matt Hardy comes back to his hometown to help out occasionally and finds out that he wasn’t the final bidder on the Westmoreland property. Word of mouth has him submitting a bid to work on the renovations.
Never one to mix business and pleasure, Liz is finding it hard to stay away from Matt until the house is done. Many costly obstacles arise that threaten to stop the whole project. With a lot of help from members of the community, they are able to finish up and be ready for the holiday lights parade.
And then . . . HEA!
I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.

This is a delightful Christmas story. Set in a small town, Liz and Matt are both following their dreams when their paths intersect. What happens then is a magical story of love, friendship, family, and making those dreams come true. This is a heartwarming read, perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.
