Liz Westmoreland’s dream was to take over her grandparents’ inn, called Angels Rest, in the picturesque small town of Antler Creek, but her grandparents retired before she had the chance. On impulse, Liz did a browser search on the property, and was thrilled to find that it was being sold at auction the very next day. She put in the highest bid, and Angels Rest was back in the family once again.

Matt Hardy was thoroughly annoyed when someone outbid him on the old Westmoreland place. His favorite memories of growing up in Antler Creek were centered around there, from fly fishing in the summer to the full-on Christmas display during December, and all included Liz. When he realized who had purchased the property, he was more than willing to remain in town a little longer, and head up the renovation in order to return Angels Rest to its former glory.

Christmas Angels is a book that left me feeling happy. I loved Liz’s focus and determination to bring about her dream, and Matt is truly one of the nicest guys ever. I enjoyed the townspeople and was amazed at the way they all came together to help Liz after her accident, and I really liked the angel sightings scattered throughout the book.

A very sweet and endearing Christmas holiday story. Liz has fond memories of the times she spent with her grandparents. When the opportunity arises to purchase the property they lived on she jumps on it. Matt is struggling to recover from the loss of his dad. Reconnecting with his childhood crush is helping. This is a story about community and love. All the small things that they do to make each other’s lives better. Liz and Matt work to make Angels Rest a true Christmas miracle bringing the town and families together.

This is sweet small town Christmas romance. I actually found the town’s character and the holiday season took center stage in this book. The romance was sweet but slow moving and there was virtually no conflict for the lovers to overcome. There is a fabulous dog named Elvis that adds sparkle to this story. This book will hit the spot if you want an enjoyable and heartwarming sweet holiday romance to snuggle up with.

Christmas Angels is a sweet, feel good story to get you in the Christmas spirit. It is a story of love-of family and friends, small town neighborly friendship and love, new love and rekindling old memories for new ones.
Liz Westmoreland is very successful at starting up businesses living in Charlotte, North Carolina, but she has always had a dream of buying her deceased beloved grandparents' lodge in the mountains of North Carolina. When she stumbles on an auction that includes the lodge, she outbids everyone else to buy it, sight unseen. It is quite depressing to see the condition it is in but with a tip from a local, she hires Matt Hardy, a local guy home from Chicago for the holidays, to manage the renovations. What happens is amazing as the whole town welcomes her back to bring the old lodge to its former glory. Everyone pitches in a hand and things move along speedily. Liz is overwhelmed with the generous outpouring and maybe even a little romance is in the air-after the work is done, of course. This is a great holiday read that I recommend.
I received a complimentary ARC from St. Martin's Press/St. Martin's Griffin though NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.

A nice story heartwarming story that could easily be a Hallmark movie. Not my typical read but it was a fat one and I'm glad I did spend a little of my spare time reading this. The characters and plot were enjoyable. A few hours to relax with a cup of tea, a nice comfy chair, and this book makes for a great afternoon.

This was a really lovely story for the holiday season. I loved the NC mountain setting, the descriptions of the inn renovation (and Matt's house!), as well as the caring community that surrounds the area. It's a heartwarming, love-filled novel that will appeal to fans of Debbie Macomber and Sheila Roberts. Highly recommended!

This is yet another Hallmark Christmas movie in the Making!
Liz Westmoreland is a very successful business woman in the big city but, has always dreamed of going back to her grandparent's home in Antler Creek because, she desperately missed the time she spent with them when she was a child. She has never forgotten the summers and Christmases she spent at their inn. As she is online one day, she sees the inn up for sale, makes a bid and wins it.
When she goes there, she decides this is the best decision she has ever made.
Matt Hardy barely lost the inn that butts up against his land and, is praying it won't be an uppity big city loon who will destroy the inn. When he finds out it is the woman he fell in love with many years ago, he believes in angels again.
I couldn't stop reading this story because, it brings joy to your life, even if it's for just a few hours. It's worth it!.

Christmas Angels is quite honestly the picture perfect christmas romance. As not only was it wonderfully engaging, super sweet and heartfelt. But it really captured my imagination, thanks to a lovely small town setting and plenty of welcoming characters who all pulled together beautifully to help Liz achieve her dream. And if you're looking for a heartwarming festive tale to read in the build up to the big day, then you should definitely check this story out.

If you are looking for a well written sweet and touching Christmas story , this one is for you.
Liz Westmoreland and Matt Hardy met as children, when Liz would visit her grandparents Bed and Breakfast. Years later they meet again, when she returns to her grandparents town hoping to buy their inn and restore it. But she’s getting overwhelm and Matt offers to help. This is the start of a future neither expected.
It’s not a fast paced, action filled story. It’s more an unrushed walk through the lives of these two and the town people. Creating a dream and finding hope and happiness in the end. A lovely story for the holiday season.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Nancy Naigle has done it again. Christmas Angels is a heartwarming, sweet and cute Christmas story. All her characters are well-developed and realistic. I love how the hero, Matt Hardy truly does heroic actions to make life better for the heroine, Liz Westmoreland. I don't know how any woman could fail to fall in love with Matt. The town of Antler Creek was fun to visit. I loved the people there and their togetherness. Ms. Naigle made me feel I was a part of Liz and Matt's adventures, the town's activities and all the Christmas fun. I loved this book!

What a lovely sweet feel good book. It would make a perfect Hallmark movie. Liz is living her life with work filled days wondering “what if”. Her favorite place in the world was Angels Inn, the lovely old fashioned country inn that belonged to her beloved, kind wonderful grandparents and held the best memories of her life. When her grandparents sold the inn it was a bleak day in her life and all she ever wanted was to be able to buy it to recreate the warm loving memories of yesteryear. She is a country girl successfully living a great city life
yet underneath the facade of happy, she questioning her choices regularly. She loves her job and is great at it, but questioning on whether it is how she wants to spend the rest of her life. When she is being honest with herself she knows the true answer is an overwhelming NO. Not even a teeny tiny bit! In the blink of an eye with no time to think logically or rationally she finds her precious inn up for auction and sight unseen places a bid and wins. She packs up her Range Rover and heads to see the inn. Join Liz on the journey of rehabbing
herself, the inn, becoming reacquainted with the town while trying to gracefully and comfortably fit in, rekindling old friendships, creating new ones, meeting Matt, a wonderful man who lost the bid on the inn, but winds up with so much more. Enjoy the read. Perfect holiday HEA.

Oh my Goodness I loved this book. I really could not put this book down. I felt like I just flew through it. This book totally put me into the Christmas spirit and I loved the small town feel of the book. The whole time I was reading it I kept thinking this would make a good hallmark movie. I loved how everyone came together to help each other out and it was truly about helping others then anything else. I also loved that this book was a good clean read and would be suitable for all. I loved how no matter what Liz faced she was a huge fighter. Matt had such a big heart for all as well. I loved Krissy and I hope her story is next omg I can only imagine what trouble she can get into.

Simply magically delightful! A young girl’s memories of happy times and love can become a reality once again as an adult when Fate, or perhaps a Christmas angel give Liz Westmoreland what she always dreamed of, a chance to own the inn her grandparents sold years before. For Liz, it could be a dream come true or her worst nightmare when the man next door steps in to save the day and hopefully rekindle his own childhood dreams.

Nancy Naigle’s CHRISTMAS ANGELS is a heartwarming tale of finding what your heart truly wants in a small town with a huge heart!

Kind of like a Hallmark card with chapters, this tale sparkles with the magic of the holiday season, fond memories and true love! Go ahead and relax into sweet romance while getting your secret holiday reading fix!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from St. Martin's Griffin! This is my honest and voluntary review!

I really enjoyed Christmas Angels. I love small towns and Christmas. Ms. Naigle writes both stories with heart. An engaging story of bringing the past back to the future. Liz stumbled upon a real estate listing that sounded too good to be true. Her grandparent inn from her childhood. She snaps it up intending to bring it back to the beautiful place she spent some of the happiest times when she was a kid.
Matt was also hoping to buy the inn and its land. When Matt realizes that it's Liz from his childhood he wants to help return the Inn to its former beauty.
With the angel collection that belonged to Liz's grandma. And they find random angel figurines in various places they take it as a sign, But when Liz trips and break an ankle she takes it as another sign.
I really enjoyed this book. The whole time reading I felt as if I was reading a continuation of a story from another author. It was a struggle to keep them separate.

Such a feel good story. Liz buys back her grandparents inn in a small town and falls in love with it and it's people all over again. Matt was so good for her. When she gets hurt, the town just jumps into help. That's what small towns do. The characters were so real. The whole story just gives you a warm feeling. Nancy Naigle never fails with her books.

A sweet community christmas romance

Liz is ready to leave the city behind and return to her roots when she discovers her grandparents' old inn up for auction. Restoring the property turns out to be far more involved than she anticipated, but she's got the help of neighbor Matt, who remembers her from their childhood visits to Angels Rest, and all the backup she could want from a small town anxious to see the beloved inn restored and running again.

The story couldn't be sweeter, with a hint of Christian overtones but nothing too heavy-handed. The strength of the story is in the way the community rises to the challenge to help her, both in small gestures and in life-altering sacrifices. Both Liz and Matt have a bit of baggage to overcome, providing a little angst to the story. There's plenty of humor and a full cast of lovable, small-town characters, and just enough holiday cheer to make you want to string your own set of sparkling lights. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I received an advanced reader’s copy of Christmas Angels. .

Liz Westmoreland finds her grandparents inn up for auction and bids on it. When she wins the auction she sets off for the place where her fondest memories live only to discover that the place she wanted to call home was in disrepair. Matt Hardy recognizes Liz from his childhood. When he realizes that Liz wants to restore her grandparents inn and reopen it as a bed and breakfast, he bids on the project. Liz has reservations about hiring Matt but goes ahead and hires him as the contractor.

Liz is attracted to Matt but is hesitant to get involved with him especially since he’s working for her. Matt is interested in Liz and embarks on a slow wooing to convince Liz they’re meant to be together. Matt and Liz are both kind people and do things for each other to show their care and appreciation.

This is an enjoyable, sweet, Christmas romance showing a town filled with kind people coming together to help each other out

This was a very sweet, wholesome and predictable story. Set in a small town in North Carolina around the holiday season, Liz returns to her Grandparent’s mountain lodge to find the “magic” of the holidays that will guide her toward a happy life. Even with the predictability, I couldn’t put it down!

I loved getting into a holiday mind frame, dreaming of Christmas is the mountains with hot chocolate and twinkle lights. This lovely story was just the balm I needed while I sweltered in this 100° heat. Liz and Matt's story was sweet and hopeful and full of slow burning feels.
