This was a cute, whimsical story about a fairy on a mission to help a girl and possibly her father. The story was a little long winded for me and could have used some shortening.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this ARC.

This ARC was courtesy of netgalley - the thoughts and opinions are mine and unbiased

I've not read this author before and the cover initially drew me in

I wouldn't normally read a romance with fantasy elements - I usually find them a little cold but I actually LOVED this!! Can't wait to read more of this author.

This, I think, is where netgalley works so well - I am reading genres I wouldn't normally read and this is broadening my horizons hugely - so thank you, netgalley, for that

Great, quirky characters - who thought gnomes would make such great characters - the author is wonderfully imaginative

Well written, wonderful founded characters

A fantastic, summer read

Sophia comes from the land of the Fae on a mission. She is not to reveal who she is or fall in love with a human. When she meets Lord Robinsworth, she finds him with his young daughter, Anne.. She whispers something in her ear and she starts behaving. Lord Robinsworh is a very handsome man and he is followed around by rumors that he killed his wife. There are more Fae there than anyone would guess. Sophia's mother came to the land of the Fae many years ago, but no one knows where she is. Sophia could possibly lose her wings of she breaks one of the rules. She loves Ashley,. Lord Robimsworth, but knows she must leave soon. I loved this book. It is magical with characters that you will love. I received this book from Net Galley and the publisher for a honest review.

This is not normally the type of book I would enjoy. That being said I loved this book and cannot wait until the next one comes out. Sophia and the Duke make such a magical pair. I couldn't put this book down. Readers will thoroughly enjoy reading this book.

Haven't read many romances lately but this one sounded intriguing. A good story with fantasy elements, I really enjoyed this book. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

I have never read a book by this author and don’t usually read this type of romance but I was pleasantly surprised with how good this book was. But how can a book not be good with a mission faerie and a garden gnome as characters? Sophia, a mission faerie, is sent on a mission to help Lady Anne (the Duke of Robinsworth “Robin” daughter.) Robin is shunned by society after the death of his wife and doesn’t like to socialize. He slowly starts to have interactions with guest when Sophia is a guest as his mother’s house party. They are drawn to each other but there are rules for the fae and loving a human is not allowed. Sophia is determined to not break any rules. The book is full of mystery, humor, mischief, funny side characters, and romance. All the characters in the book was well developed and they all seemed to contribute to the humor of the story. The book was engaging, well written and very hard to put down. I can’t wait to read the next book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I forgot how well Tammy Falkner told stories! I read (years ago) some of her Reed brothers books and really enjoyed those.

This book is set in the 1800’s and is about Sophia, a Fae, and the Duke of Robinsworth, who struggles with his daughter Lady Anne and the rumors around his wife’s death.

Sophia’s mission in the human world is to take away the bad dreams of Lady Anne, that might have witnessed the death of her mother. Little did she know how drawn she would be to the “dangerous Duke”...

The side characters in this book are hilarious and I can’t wait for Claire’s story!

I received this ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

A solid beginning to a fantasy romance series. Set in the 1800s we're introduced to a spunky female lead, Sophia and a brooding male lead, the Duke of Robinsworth. Sophia is fae with a mission who gets entangled with the duke. The romance plays out quickly and Sophia is given some degrees of depth. It would've been great to get more character development from the Duke, but with the genre, that's not particularly the end goal. A pretty easy read, got through it quickly.
