I love this series. And I was so excited to receive an advanced reader copy from Net Galley and the publishing house. I’ve so enjoyed following Morgan and Lance’s relationship. The mystery in this one was so good! I did not figure it out until the very end! I always enjoy the other key characters in this series. I’m hoping for more books in this series! I can’t get enough of these!

This is number six in the Morgan Dane series.
Melinda Leigh strikes again! Absolutely brilliant!! Another gripping storyline with Morgan, her fiance Lance and their associate Lincoln Sharpe. Lincoln's girlfriend Olivia has been kidnapped and the threesome cannot seem to find any leads. They're hitting dead ends wherever they turn! Time is running out for Olivia. Can they reach her on time??
I love this series as you also get an insight into Morgan's and Lance's personal life too.
Definitely five stars. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this Arc.

I love the Morgan Dane series and the sixth book in the series is no exception! I have heard this is the last book in the series and really hope that's not true! I love Melinda Leigh's writing style - the characters are likeable and the plot captures your attention (making it hard to stop reading once you start).

I've really enjoyed watching Morgan and Lance's relationship evolve throughout the series and have enjoyed reading the reaction that Morgan's girls have had toward their new soon-to-be-stepdad. I was also delighted when Lincoln found a new love interest in Olivia. This book focuses on Olivia's kidnapping and the lengths that Morgan, Lance, and Lincoln with go to to find her.

Thank you to Montlake Romance and NetGalley for providing a copy for review.

I am in denial that this is the last story I will get in the life of Morgan Dane!! I was already mourning the loss of Mercy, so this was like a double whammy. Regardless, I enjoyed the read and thought that the mystery was suspenseful and engaging. I will miss this series and I hope the author has more great stories in the works for me!

I just love the Morgan Dane Series and this was no exception. Another well written, fast paced, edge of my seat read. This story sees Sharps girlfriend Olivia captured and taken by a mystery person. The motive however takes us through so many twists and turns, things are not always as they seem. As per this series our hero/heroines Lance and Morgan work tirelessly to solve this case and save Olivia. I adore the way this author brings us right into the Dane Family and we feel like they are our own family. The combo of exciting mystery and real life works flawlessly and humanizes the characters. I can not wait for the next Dane book! This one was a must read.

Not realizing this is the 6th book in this series, I'm definitely going to be reading the previous ones. I couldn't put this book down once I started. It was so good and kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Save your breathe is the 6th installment of Morgan Dane series. While each of these books can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading the series in order to have the full experience. The mysteries are new with each book, but the personal lives of the characters continues from one book to the next.

Morgan is a young widower with three small girls. She returned to Scarlett Falls after he husband died in the military. She moved in with her retired police grandfather and they lend each other support.

Lance is a cop turned Private investigator. When he was a child, his father disappeared. Lincoln was the cop who attempted to solve that case and took Lance under his wing. When he retired, Lance came to work with him as a PI. Morgan is a lawyer who also works at their firm. Over time, she and Lance fell in love and are engaged.

In the past, Lincoln has worked with an investigative reporter named Olivia. Neither like to let anyone in, but they slowly broke down each other’s walls.

Olivia has signed with an agent to do a true crime book based on a couple of cases she is researching. She has concerns that the men in jail man be innocent of the crimes they were arrested for. She wants to discuss the case with Lincoln. But before she can, someone kidnaps her from her bed in the middle of the night. With very little to go on, can Lincoln, Lance, and Morgan find Olivia before it’s too late?

I really enjoy this series and try to read them as soon as they come out. The characters are smart, resourceful, and human. The writing seems to be well researched and is easy to follow. And for those who like their stories clean, they don’t have much more then a couple bedroom innuendos and they aren’t too gory.

Thanks Netgalley, Melinda Leigh, and Montlake for this book.

Wow, just WOW!
This series has gone to the top of my favorites list.
Melinda Leigh captivates you with a story so twisted it's impossible to put down!
If you a book that will draw you in and make the world around you go away this one's for you.
Classified as romantic suspense, the mystery really leads the story but let's face it, a handsome hunk is never a bad thing either.
5+ stars!

Melinda Leigh, is becoming one of my favorite authors of romantic suspense. I love this series and when I start reading, I cannot put the book down. Morgan is an amazing woman with a wonderful man at her side, Lance. Together they are a force to. be feared. With Morgan being a lawyer, and her sister being a cop and Lance as a private investigator, used to be cop. And then there is Lincoln Sharp, ex cop and partners with Lance. This story is about Olivia, Sharp’s friend. She is a investigative crime reporter who is kidnapped. And you won’t believe who and why did it. It’s a race against time to figure it all out. From the first page to the last, this story will keep you guessing.

Received an Advance Reader Copy, for an honest review. This is a romantic suspense story, also my first read from author Melinda Leigh, and I was hooked from the first page. Olivia was kidnapped and the race was on. Lance and Morgan helping Sharp search for her, Tons of mystery and suspense trying to figure out who has her, then had the romantic essence as well. A very good read and I will be going back to read more of her books.

Morgan is an attorney and Lance is a private investigator. When their friend Olivia goes missing, they help Sharp, who is Lance’s boss and friend. Olivia is a true crime writer and as they delve deeper into her research, they realize that it may be connected to two different murder cases. While they continue to look for Olivia, someone tries to kill them. Can they find her before it’s too late?
Action and suspense. Two people set in their ways, not wanting to put a name to their relationship. I totally did not know who the kidnapper was. I could not put this book down. It will keep you turning the pages until the very end.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *

As with all of the books in Melinda Leigh's Morgan Dane series, this was phenomenal.
I was fortunate to be able to read an ARC copy of this book for the purpose of review.
I could not put this book down. This book grabbed from page one and kept my interest until the teary end.
I fear this is this last book, but I know from other reads by Melinda that my favorite characters will reappear in future books.
I highly recommend this book.

Another great book in the Morgan Dane series and the final one. Although it is always sad when a series ends when you love the characters the author ended this series with a great final book! This book is about Sharp and Olivia (and yes you HAVE to read all the books in the series). Olivia is missing and it is up to Sharp, Lance and Morgan to find out what happened to her. This book has a ton of suspense and thrills! I loved this book and love this series but I look forward to reading Melinda Leigh's next book or series because once you start reading any of her books you will be a life long follower of hers! Read this series today!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Great ending to a great series. I love how much the characters have grown since the first book. This book wasted no time starting the action. I might have lost a little sleep because I couldn’t stop reading. Do yourself a favor, and read this series!

The sixth Morgan Dane suspense title hits close to home. Lincoln Sharp's new girlfriend true-crime writer Olivia Cruz disappears with no warning. She and Sharp had been taking their time with their relationship since both were pretty set in their ways and wary. Morgan and her soon-to-be husband Lance are quick to jump in to help Sharp.

With nowhere to start their investigation, they try to learn what she was working on for her next book. Attempts to contact her agent and publisher are stalled since she disappears on a weekend. They do learn that she was working on two possible criminal cases. The first was a man who was convicted of killing a young woman and suspected of killing five more but their bodies weren't found. The second was a case of a man convicted of murdering his wife despite his story of a home invasion.

That second case hits close to home when the man's mother makes an appointment with Morgan to see if she will be the lawyer for an appeal. Morgan doesn't take the case because something feels wrong about it to her. Minutes later her would-be client commits suicide outside her office.

We also gets scenes starring Olivia where we see her kidnapped and see her imprisoned in a cold, damp, underground room which exacerbates her asthma and leaves us thinking that the asthma could kill her before the kidnapper does.

Meanwhile, there's domestic drama too as Morgan's three young daughters are excited about Halloween and Halloween costumes and her nanny Gianna who is underdoing dialysis for kidney failure gets very sick.

This story was filled with suspense and was fast-paced. I enjoyed it because I like the characters and the relationships.

I just love the Lance and Morgan and Lincoln Sharp series! I this latest book Sharps girlfriend Olivia get kidnapped and with all clues leading to dead ends you are literally left on the edge of your seat as time runs out and you can really feel Sharp’s desperation and fear that he will never see Olivia again. I was hooked the whole way through and I didn’t guess the kidnapper which is always a bonus! I’m Hoping this won’t be the last of the Morgan Dane series!

Thanks as always to NetGalley and Melinda Leigh for the arc of Save Your Breath my review is honest and unbiased.

Lincoln feels in his gut that something is not right with Olivia. He and Lance goes to her house to see if they can get any clues as where she could be, but on the surface, everything looks like she just left for an appointment. But Lincoln knows Olivia, and finds clues that she might have been taken against her will. As the trio dig into Olivia's cold case research as she is a true-crime writer, they feel like there might be a connection to her cases and disappearance. As they dig deeper, someone is keen on keeping them from finding a truth, when someone sets up a bomb at their office.

In this latest book of the Morgan Dane series, the focus is less on Morgan and more on Sharp -- the PI who works with Morgan and Lance in a variety of cases. The story opens with the kidnapping of Sharp's new love interest, Olivia Cruz, and the plot is split between Olivia's struggle to survive & escape, and the search for her by a desperate Sharp. The mystery unfolds with very little being given away about who is behind the kidnapping and where Olivia is being held. In their investigation, Morgan, Lance, & Sharp discover that Olivia was following some leads for her new true crime book about a past murder and some tainted evidence. During their search for Olivia, the group also uncover a survivalist/militia group dealing in arms and money. Adding to the excitement is the illness of Gianna, the au pair of Morgan's kids. All of the stress causes Morgan and Lance to consider postponing their wedding, but the girls insist that the ceremony happen as planned, backed by Gianna and their entire family. Can a single mom and defense attorney make a relationship work with a single private investigator? Only time will tell.
