Evi and Naz story continues in the second book and no it doesn't end with this one this also ends with a cliffhanger. The story is witty and funny like the previous it has some unexpected twist and one new interesting character that juices up the story. The relationship with Naz and Evi evolves becomes deeper and their love stronger. I enjoyed reading the story but I do miss that it doesn't have an end and that I have to wait for another book.

Geissinger’s contemporary, adult DANGEROUS BEAUTY romantic, suspense trilogy focusing on former Special Ops military man and security specialist Nasir ‘Naz’ Mansouri, and Evalina ‘Eva’ Ivanova. DANGEROUS DESIRES should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff-hanger of book one Dangerous Beauty. The Dangerous Beauty series is a spin-off from the author’s BAD HABIT series. You do not have to have read the previous series to follow the current time line but I recommend reading HOT AS SIN for some background and cohesion to Nasir’s story.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Eva and Naz) DANGEROUS DESIRES focuses on Eva’s desperate measures to protect the man with whom she had fallen in love. Willingly sacrificing herself for the sake of Naz, Eva finds herself imprisoned on a yacht by a man who is hoping to destroy the very person to whom Eva has offered up herself. Holy Hell, what the hell just happened? I’m shocked and dirty as hell cause I didn’t know this was a cliffhanger. I hadn’t read the first book in this series but I read enough of this to know it was a roller coaster of everything from love and hot sex to downright evil and violent. If you like your stories gritty and nasty with suspense then this will be for you.

As I hadn’t read book one, I won’t go into the book in case I ruin it, but rest assured this will go down as a great book keeping you interest right through to the gasping end! Think I may need to read the third now just so I know what happens to Eva, Naz, Killian and Dimitri.

I’ve been totally enraptured by the first book but in this one it gets so much better. After the cliffhanger in the first part of Eva and Naz’s journey, I was waiting for the second book to come out and how they would find their way of happiness without the dark shadows of Eva’s past.

I have to admit the first part scared me a bit, especially introducing a new character, someone totally unexpected. I was afraid of the outcome, because some parts were to me flirting a little bit with some danger that might destroy what Eva and Naz had. However the author managed to describe so beautifully the main characters’ passion and endless, unconditionally love. 

This book was more introspective, focused on their feelings, insecurities and risks for their mission, to go on war against someone who used to have the upper hand, but above all the trust they shared, how much stronger they were together and not separated.

Oh man how I adored Eva and Naz more than ever; the protector met his match with that woman who in spite of the atrocities she had endured for years was no one’s victim. 

A man who would cross all earth to make feel her safe, to share her burdens and bring happiness into her life. It was Naz’s natural side and finding her only just emphasizes his need to protect her in any way, a bit alpha at times but damn she could definitely stand by herself. It was just as hot as totally sweet and swoony, and at times just… ovaries exploded!

Eva really convinced me on that one, showing that her scars made her stronger, like her love for Naz growing day by day. Giving her strength to fight back and also trying to protect the man she loves in any way. Selfless and caring, passionate and feisty. I appreciated every faces of her personality. 

And these two together… Oh my, I could feel the love and their hearts beating in sync, they really outshined everything. A mix of hotness, sensual and sweet at times, with a banter I adored. How they could sometimes escape from the real world, just being silly and enjoying and treasuring every moment.

In spite of that little part of the story, when I thought I was not going to like it, the author has shown she had more under her sleeves that she was letting on. In this dangerous path, Eva and Naz’s relationship was going to be threatened so many times but they trusted the other completely and mostly communicating and saying sometimes the things that needed to be said. 

I’ve been holding my breath, reading their story until the end, a real page turner, filled with suspense and sensuality, but mostly so much love. They were such a couple that you cannot not fall in love with, endearing, true to themselves and never letting go. I appreciated the witty and sarcastic banter and sometimes fun parts that gave a little lightness to this heavy side of the story. Speaking of that new character, I’d love to read his story at some point because I’m sure he has a lot of things to share.

Once again, one more mind-blowing ending. I can’t wait to read the final installment!!

Wow, Naz and Eva's story continues where it left off and hit's the ground running. Naz is beside himself trying to find any clues to lead him to Eva and to whoever is holding her captive. He will move heaven and earth to bring her back to him safely. Eva has a new menace that has her life on the edge. But she proves again and again how smart, clever and resilient she is in the face of danger. Eva will sacrifice anything to keep Naz safe, which makes her vulnerable to her new intriguing captor. Eva and Naz are hotter than ever together, and they make quite the team in the face of this new danger as well as the past she can't escape. Geissinger has a beautiful way of making my heart race while slipping in some much needed sass and witty banter. This second book in the Dangerous Beauty series continues to be a fast paced, gripping story, and an exciting and steamy romance with plot twists that will have you on edge trying to figure out what will happen next. I was once again stunned at the end and can't wait for the last book of this trilogy, Dangerous Games!

Keep in mind that this is not a stand alone book. It’s not even just second in a series. It’s the middle of a 3-volume novel. Dangerous Desires picks up at the cliffhanger ending of Dangerous Beauty and at the end you are left in suspense by cliffhanger #2 until you read the final volume. Nothing is resolved at the end of either book. I give the author points for a good plot outline, a strong female lead, a hunky love interest and a very villainous villain. But I found it too long (3 books and only one plot line) and the romantic relationship became a bit repetitious. I’ve read another book by J.T Geissinger that I really enjoyed so I’ll be back for more. Sorry, this one was a disappointment.

I love Eva’s character and her strength. Naz was swoon worthy in all his masculine, rugged, determined glory. I loved how fiercely he fought for Eva’s safety and protection.

I was on the fence about Killian’s character until the end of the book when I actually started to like him. Something about the way he treated Eva once he found out who she really was, made me soften towards him. And the back and forth between him and Naz was hilarious!

I just could not get into this book like I did with book 1. It was just an okay read for me. Definitely felt like a filler between the beginning and the end of his complex and twisted story. Something about the ongoing joking between Eva and Naz around her grotesque appearance and his super hero abilities just started to feel redundant and annoying. The dialogue became juvenile during those scenes.

I will complete this series because I’m invested in the hero and heroine and want to see Dimitri atone for his sins. I just hope that book 3 brings the suspense, lust and emotion that was lacking in this read but was so appealing in the first book.

I need the rest of Naz & Eva’s story! I got lost in their story and couldn’t stop reading!

I don’t want to spoil anything, but to say make sure you read the first book and the series before reading this one. And be prepared that there is a third one coming!

I am fairly new to J.T. Geissinger’s writing & I know I will be reading more by her in the future!

I really liked this sequel. I thought it was a super fast and sexy read that left me wanting the final book now!

<u>Synopsis</u>
The sequel picks up where the first book left us on that cliffhanger. In order to protect Naz, Eva decides to turn herself over to Dimitri while Naz wakes up in the hospital to find Eva gone. Conner and Tabby are already doing everything they can to find Eva. However, Eva wasn't taken by Dimitri's henchmen. She was abducted by a dark, sexy and mysterious spy who happens to want something from Dimitri.

<u>Pacing & Points of View</u>
This story was a fast read for me like most romance novels. There was just enough action, drama and banter in between the romance scenes to keep me reading! There were only two points of view, Eva and Naz, and I loved hearing from both of their personalities.

<u>Characters</u>
I really love Eva's character. She's resilient and strong willed without being arrogant and I love her for it! Her chemistry with Naz is still so good to read. Naz is a total alpha male, but I really loved how Eva calls him out on it when it's too much. She doesn't let him get away with it and brought certain characteristics up including overprotectiveness that were clearly going to cause problems. I liked seeing more insights into Eva's past and more about Naz's personality. My favorite parts were honestly towards the end between Naz and a new character Killian. The love/hate relationship there was entirely too much fun to read! I think I could listen to them banter for days. They feel like darker and lighter versions of the same character. I could see them as friends if they wouldn't hate each other so much, but then I'd miss all the sarcasm!

<u>Overall</u>
Overall, I loved the chemistry between the three main characters in this sequel. I truly can't wait until the third book comes out to see how it all ends! I'm honestly hoping a certain character might get a spinoff series. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a steamy romance, characters with dark pasts, and cliffhangers!

Oh my my... I loved this one even more so then the first book. Naz wakes from the hospital to find that Eva is no longer there and moves heaven and earth to go find her. Eva thinks she is saving Naz by leaving to go back to Demetri freely who is threatening to kill him if she doesn’t. On her way to dock she is taken by Killian who thinks she is Demetri’s wife and in on his sick demented ways. He learns what is really going on but starts to fall for Eva in the process of saving her life and keeping her safe. I actually really liked Killian at the end and kinda hope he gets his own story. It was amusing to see him and Naz go all alpha male over Eva.
I cant’ wait for the next one!

A great edge of your seat read, fast paced, fun and thoroughly entertaining, but that damn cliffhanger I need to know what happens next.

J.T. Geissinger definitely has a way with words! I freakin love her work and have been so excited for this next book in the series. I fell in love with these characters and their witty, funny banter. The suspense is some of the best written - ever. And this action packed storyline is building up to a wild ride.

The cliffy on book 1 had me stunned. This book picks right up and let me tell you the surprises keep coming. I love being caught off guard. I love a story that is far from predictible. This author excels at it all. Her words and articulation are some of the best I've ever read.

I just cannot get enough and can't wait to read what she has in store for us in the conclusion.

Oh my!!! Things really heat up in this second book of the Dangerous Beauty series.

As Eva does what she thinks is best in order to protect Naz, we meet some new players in the game who will add even more mystery and intrigue to the situation.

The cat and mouse game with Dimitri comes to a head just as this second book ends.

THIS IS A CLIFFHANGER. I can’t wait to read the third and final book in the series to see what happens!!!

I very much enjoyed the first book in this series, Dangerous Beauty, well except for that cliffy at the end...didn't much enjoy that :P

So I am glad we finally got to see what happens next, waiting is not really my strong suit. I am not gonna share too much about it though, because I really don't want to spoiler it for anyone else.

What I can say is that I absolutely loved this second book...maybe even a tad bit more than the first. Which might be because of a new mysteriously awesome character I was introduced to :P

No worries though... I am still deeply in love with Naz, he is so swoon-worthy.

I spend a major part of this book on the edge of my seat and the other part laughing my ass off. Thankfully the awesome back and forth banter is still present in this book ;)

It's just too bad that now the waiting starts all over again !! Let's just hope time flies.

I have read all the books by this author and they never fail to impress. His one was no exception. Book 2 of 3 in Naz’s story (Barney from the Bad habit books). Was looking forward to this after book one finished on a major cliffhanger. Great story and interaction between the characters. Just having to count down the days now for the last installment! Five stars.

Well Naz and Eva are back and have picked up where they left us hanging in Dangerous Beauty. This book is not a standalone and this trilogy must be read in order. Because this trilogy is a romantic suspense my review will be quite vague otherwise it will spoil your reading experience. Eva left to protect Naz and in doing so a new player is added to the mix of suspense and intrigue. Naz only wants one thing, to get Eva back and he will do so by any means possible. What I enjoy about these books is that even during the tension of the story there are a lot of lighthearted moments between Naz, Eva and the cast of characters. The silly banter lightens the tension of the reality of their story. Prepare yourself that this isn't the end of Eva and Naz's journey and I see troubled water for them both on the horizon. As with the first book, it's told from dual POV and is full of action, intrigue, suspense, laughs, heat and every emotion imaginable. I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this action packed trilogy!

I have to say this book had me on the edge of my seat. It was a nail biter but I love it. I highly recommend reading this book. Adding new characters to this book was good and getting to know about them. I don't want to give too much away. Just need to go read it. When reading about her being on the boat and the waves rocking it, I could picture it. It was so surreal even parts throughout the book as well. I do have to say Naz and Eva's relationship was tested and can't wait to read the next book. I need to know what happens. I didn't want the book to end. It ends on a cliffhanger. I want their relationship to survive this. They are so good for one another. Another great read J.T. Geissinger. Love reading your books.

This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order for best enjoyment. This read continues where the second book left off. Naz and Eva are great characters with steamy chemistry this story has plenty of twists and turns with loads of drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end. I really liked it.

Noooo!!! Oh My Gosh!! The author pulled out all the stops with this series! She's killing me here. That ending. Goodness gracious, I'm not sure my heart can take the wait time until Book 3 releases.

Dangerous Desires is Book 2 of the Dangerous Beauty series. Since this story picks up right where Book 1 left off, it is an absolute requirement to read these in order or you will be utterly clueless.

Eva and Naz (aka Barney) are as amazing as ever and now we have Killian in the mix. Wowza! This story was filled to the brim with action, intense moments and even some hilarity (measuring tape comment!). I'm looking forward to the exciting conclusion to this series!

welp. this was less about Eva and Naz, and more about Eva. more telling you that Eva is so special and that everyone who meets her is somehow going to fall in love with her. there was no growth for the characters, and i felt like it was rushed.
