Eva and Naz's love story continues in this second book in the Dangerous Beauty series, so reading the first book (Dangerous Beauty) is a must. JT's books are always fast and fun reads for me, and this book was no exception. We get action, we get spice and sizzle, we get suspense, we get banter, we get swooning/eyeroll-inducing alpha behavior, and we also get another cliffhanger.

While I'm Team Eva and Naz, another character stole the show for me! His name? Killian.

Plenty of heat, humor, suspense and heart!

J.T. Geissinger has become of my top favorite authors and she seriously delivered another Kick-ass story for her readers. She's made a fan for life in me since I read her terrific Queens & Monsters Series ! Dangerous Desires is the second book in the Dangerous Beauty Series with an intense and suspenseful plot. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic duo of Nasir and Eva and their undeniable chemistry.

This is the second book in the Dangerous Beauty series, and the continuation of Naz, and Eva's passionate love story. This book is action-packed, suspenseful, dramatic, intense, twisted, emotional, and very steamy!

JT Geissinger continues her Dangerous Beauty series with Dangerous Desires. Nasir and Evalina struggle to reunite despite Dimitri's evil plans to keep her. Book two was not as intriguing as the first, but I enjoyed the introduction of a future book character, and I will be reading the last book of this series.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

This book picks up right after the last installment when Eva turns herself over to her mobster ex-lover to keep Naz safe. With a few turns of events, Eva ended up kidnapped instead. Yes, the plot thickens. Of course, with the help of Naz’s friends, they can locate her and initiate a rescue. As if Naz was going to let or go just like that. Silly girl.

Unfortunately, getting Eva back will not be that easy. Turns out, the situation with Eva’s Ex is more complicated than they thought. I love the introduction of this discovery as well as an introduction to a new character. Let me tell you, Killian knocked me off my feet and I’m sure he couldn’t help it, but his character was fighting lead position in this book. Okay, fighting for a place in Eva’s heart too. This guy is gem.

Don’t get me wrong, Eva and Naz still took the front page. I love their dedication to each other no matter the cost. It was really sweet. There was a tug and war of alpha male vs. I-am-woman-you-can’t-control-me situations, but the story tells you the reasons for it all.

You do see other characters from this series and it’s lovely to get more of their HEA. They add a whole lot of dimensions to the story. The verbal duel between Killian and Naz had me laughing out loud. Killian knew exactly how to get under Naz’s skin and it was all entertaining to witness. I’m pretty sure fans of this series will be requesting for more Killian page time. Perhaps, even his own books.

I loved all the action, suspense, and the banter between the characters. Gessinger’s storytelling is never dull. I recommend this series to light romantic suspense fans.

Good read for a mix of intrigue, adventure, romance with dark themes... and if you don't mind cliffhangers.

It's been a while since I've read book 1,but was able to catch on rather quickly what happened.

Things are starting to pick up and the story progresses, I understood Eva's reason for leaving Naz in the first one. But it was only a matter of time before Naz would find her.

I was able to feel their connection a bit more, but there's still something holding me back from completely shipping them.

Despite everything that Dimitri has put Eva through, there's still an odd connection there. And it's... I'm not sure how to explain it, he's a big part of the story. Maybe because it wad the audio, but there was a lighter/comedic tone to him. It's weird because he's an absolutely horrible person.

The ending was a bit predictable, but I can't wait to see how everything wraps up in the last book!

Eva makes a deal with the devil but things (of course!) don't turn out the way she plans. I was surprised several times when reading this book and didn't expect it to end the way it did.

Honestly, I don't have much to say on this one.

I found this one rrrreally slow compared to the first one and it wasn't until I finally reached the end that I wanted more. Now, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Imagine finding life again after everything was taken away from you. After Eva disappears Naz has one mission. Find her at all costs. This series definitely keeps you guessing on what will happen next and how Eva will get out of another sticky situation. Looking forward to the next book!

Ok if you haven't read the first book stop go back and read it before you read this one.
If you have read the first one I hope your ready to hold on for a check of a ride this one will have you not wanting to put it down. Your going to love how naz and Eva grow even closer than what they were in the first book. There are a few more twist that your going to find and possibly shock you. But still if your not a fan of cliffhangers hold out till the series is complete before binge reading .

Can't wAit to see what comes next because well he'll I want it now lol

Oh my goodness! This one starts right where the first book ends (which ends at in a cliffhanger) when Eva left to save Naz's life and ends up kidnapped. This brings in another player in this romantic suspense and since there is so much going on and I do not want to give anything away I will just say there is hang on because there is a roller coaster of a ride ahead and lots of banter. Bring on book 3!

It’s a rare dang occasion when I enjoyed the second book in a trilogy even more than the first, but man. I devoured this one!

I’ve been utterly antsy to get my hands on the second installment of this trilogy ever since the jaw dropping cliffhanger in book one. Naz and Eva completely stole my heart in the last book, but it was nothing compared to what I experienced with their story in this one.

Eva was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the man she loves, even willingly hand herself back to the devil again. But just as she’s determined to protect Naz, he’s just as determined to protect her. But in order to protect the woman he’s fallen so hard for, he needs to find her. And it’s extremely hard to find someone when they go through a lot of trouble to ensure that they can’t be found.

I don’t want to give too much away about the plot in this book, so I won’t say anything about it. What I will tell you is that there’s a secondary character that was introduced here that I’m fairly certain I’d give an ovary to get a book for. Talk about your enigmatic and mysterious characters, because OMG! I NEED.

Eva and Naz are just as potent together. Their cute joking insults and their undying devotion for each other is captivating. You can’t help but fall for these two. They are both so fiercely protective of each other. I love that Eva is no one’s victim. This woman is a survivor and a fighter where Naz is a natural protector. And together, they’re absolutely incendiary.

I’m in love. I’m so fucking in love. If I lose her, it will end me.

I devoured this book in one sitting! I couldn’t put it down. And twist after delicious twist, it continued to own me until the very last page. Now if I could just survive the unbearable wait until the conclusion.

This is one of my anticipated romance series since I read Dangerous Beauty, I became an instant fan of J.T. Geissinger!

I'm not sure if I should give this 4.5 because at the beginning, my attention was not caught. I left it for a month before I picked it up and read again.

Sorry, Killian, I hate you but I hope that you'll have your own story okay?

I'm so happy for Naz and Eva to be reunited! Yay!

And that cliffhanger at the end, that is a total bomb! I like it!

I can't wait for the last installment in this series! I have a copy already! Wohoo!

Thank you to the ever so generous Montlake Romance and Netgalley for the ARC!

J.T. Geissinger did it again!
After reading and loving “Dangerous Beauty“, I was really excited to get my hands on the sequel “Dangerous Desires“.
The plot picks up right after book one, and it’s just as fast paced and action filled!
Needlessly to say, I enjoyed this book a lot.
The cliffhanger though...

This series is one that has intrigued my interest and also left me wanting for something more. I really enjoy the characters. Eva wants nothing more than to ensure the safety of Nasir, while Nasir is dead set that he is the man and it is his job to protect.

Dangerous Desires picks up with Eva having left Naz in the hospital so that he will be safe from her ex Dimitri. However, things take a surprising turn. While I want to go into depth on Eva being abducted and the new mystery man that Eva and Naz find themselves entangled with, I don't want to give away too many spoilers for this book.

Now disclaimer, this is a series and this book does have another cliffhanger. Sorry for those who hate them. I tend to really enjoy them because it leaves me wondering what will come next. I think my only complaint about this book was at times I felt it to be slow. I love the storyline, and I love the romance between Nasir and Eva. I just felt that at times Eva or even Nasir would be speaking about the love they felt for the other and it felt repetitive.

I truly did enjoy this book, and while it may not have been my favorite story from J.T. Geissinger, I am excited for the next book in the series!

I read an ARC of the first book in this series, but I have to be honest and say that I vaguely remember what happened in the first book because I read it at the beginning of the year lol! I then received an ARC of this book, but I kept putting off reading it because I couldn't remember what happened in the first book! I then received an ARC of the third book, so I decided to finally read this book lol! I'm so happy that I read this book because I loved every second of reading it! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it kept me desperate to read on and find out what was going to happen next! There was also plenty of romance in the plot, which allowed for a few seriously hot scenes between the two main characters! There was a bit of action and suspense in the plot as well which added a lot to it as well! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Evalina 'Eva' was again the main female character, and I loved her a lot in this book! I felt like she had grown a lot from the first book and I connected with her all the way through this book! Eva also sacrificed herself to save her love interest and she was brave and she did it to protect him! She also went through a lot of illness in this book, but I was able to work out what was wrong pretty quickly lol! Nasir 'Naz' was the main male character and love interest of Eva! Naz was very angry in this book and this was completely understandable because of what Eva was going through and the fact that he didn't know where she was! Naz was very protective of Eva and he wanted her to be safe and with him! I loved Naz in this book! He was seriously hot and he always put Eva first! I loved that this book was written from both Eva and Naz's point of views! I was expecting it to be because the first book was written from both characters point of views, so I'm really happy that this one was too! It allowed for a lot more things to happen in the plot, especially as Eva and Naz spent quite a bit of the plot apart! It helped me connect and understand Eva and Naz more and understand why they made the decisions they did! I now can't wait to wait to read the next book in this series! I think that it's the final book, but this has me even more excited to read it! I also have an ARC of it, so this means that I can make it my next read, which I'll definitely be doing! The ending of this book was also left at the perfect place to lead into the next book and it's left me even more excited to continue Eva and Naz's story because it was an unexpected ending! I also love the cover for this book a lot! It would definitely draw me to the book and make me check out the synopsis! I love how well it suits the cover for the first book and the cover models/image again suit the relationship and characters of Eva and Naz!

hmm.
i really enjoyed the first in this series, though when i picked it up i didn't know it was a trilogy, so the cliffhanger was super annoying - i wish i'd waited! but oh well. i was super excited to get this one but then my life went topsy turvy and didn't get to it until well after it'd published. i didn't 100% remember everything from the first book, another reason i wish i'd known it was a trilogy so i could have waited, but i got the gist pretty early on.
i have 2 main problems with this book - the whole 'i've got to kiss/sleep with/do something stupid with this other guy to save some person/the world/get myself out of whatever situation' - that has happened in other books i've read and honestly, it always annoys me. i think it's stupid. especially when the guy you're supposed to kiss is a bad guy, and oh, he beat the shit out of you? my second problem is the religion - i am well aware people are religious and might sneak it into their books now and then but this felt like too much. but i can just ignore it because different strokes for different folks, etc etc.. but i got annoyed when the heroine acts all surprised that the guy who doesn't believe in god knows about god/the bible/whatever. because that must mean he's really religious, not that people who aren't religious do their own research or perhaps come from religious backgrounds, whatever. it just really rubbed me the wrong way. you don't suddenly forget all the shit you learned if you end up switching religions in your life. gah. it was just so condescending 'you don't believe in god, why did you read the bible?' ugh.
that sounds super bitchy, but it's how i feel. i have read other books by this author and really enjoyed them. i'm sure religion has been mentioned - it's mentioned in a lot of books i read, but i really dislike when it comes across as preachy, which this one did. that, paired with that awful hint of a love triangle with the guy that beat her up, made this one kind of a dud for me. there were a few funny moments and eva and naz are cute, if a little too cheesy at times... i am reading this trilogy for the romance for sure and now they are so in love it kind of feels like i'm reading an extended epilogue.
the ending was super obvious, girl how stupid are you? honestly. and as soon as she mentioned feeling sick, tired and fainting... jeepers.
anyway. this review sounds like i hated it, i didn't. it would be 2.5 stars if we did half stars, but we don't, so i'll up it to 3. i'll be reading the third one because i have it and because i'm hoping the things that annoyed me in this one won't pop up in the third one. also, i *do* like this author, even if this review makes me sound like i hate her. not the case at all!

5 STARS for Dangerous Desires by JT Geissinger

ARC received from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own & have not been influenced in any way.

This book is not a stand-alone & I highly recommend that you read Book #1 Dangerous Beauty. It also does not end in a HEA but instead has a WOW - WOWZER of a cliffhanger. You will certainly want to read Book 3 Dangerous Games ( avail on NG with a release date of Nov 19 )

This book picked up immediately from Dangerous Beauty with Eva again on the run. In order to protect Naz she does what she thinks is best & escapes his protection in order to keep him safe. She believes she has sold her soul back to the devil and is returning to her abuser Dimitri. There is a new character on the scene the reader does not know the exact connection to Eva (& Naz) but we are aware he believes some things that are simply not true about her ...

This book was really INTENSE & many of us are HOPING Killian will be getting his own story. He is fascinated by Eva as we all are - but will this fascination compromise her relationship with Naz ?

I read this book in one sitting & can’t wait to delve into approved Netgalley ARC of Dangerous Games !!!

Highly recommend this author & series. This book is so well written with some amazing plot twists as well as shining a spotlight on domestic abuse. Dimitri is pure evil 👿 I am really hoping he gets what’s coming to him in the 3rd & final installment in this series !!
